So much yum. If you're looking for some amazing buns and broth to die for then try this place. You know the orange chicken is awesome when the plate is full of orange peels after you eat the tender sweet chunks of chicken. The broth in the beef bowl was so fragrant and delicious.

Okay Chinese restaurant. They may need to pay more attention on Food safety. I came here Monday evening, before 6pm and the restaurant was half full. I didn't have to wait to be seated. Restaurant is bright and loud pop music and heavy bass and I feel like it's a bit too much. They do scan QR code to view menu. I got Lan Zhou noodle and Tso chicken. The noodles broth was good, not too spicy. They gave too much noodles (in my opinion). The Tso chicken was pretty good, not the best I ever had but it's on top of the list. I would give them 4 stars if I did not find "non-food" item in my mouth after the first bite of the chicken. It was a piece of stainless steel scrubber. Hope the restaurant staff be more careful while preparing food.

I was hoping to find a place to satisfy my dim sum cravings, but unfortunately this wasn't it. We went on a Monday night and the place was packed, so I had high hopes! The pork belly bao was actually pretty good--the bao was fluffy and the pork belly was soft, but the sauce was a little too sweet for me. The xiu mai seemed like it came frozen (lowkey may have seen the exact brand at the Asian market, but maybe I'm just being skeptical). Xiao long bao was alright. The skin was pretty thick, it didn't give that dainty vibe that I get when I'm eating from Din Tai Fung or similar places Beef noodle soup was underwhelming. The beef wasn't super tender, and everything felt like it wasn't seasoning/didn't meld with each other well.

We were in town for a trip to the Eastman Kodak Museum. I had heard of this place and it had good reviews so we went for a late lunch. It was clean and spacious inside and the employee at the counter told us to sit anywhere in the middle section. They brought over water and gave us time to look over the menu. We shared the dishes so we could try more items. We had pork and chive dumplings - pan fried, soup dumplings with pork, crab and shrimp -( xiao long nap) , Steamed Bacon with BBQ pork and Pork Belly Buns. All the food came out fresh and hot. They don't wait until your entire order is ready - they bring each dish as it finished cooking! It is a great system for this kind of food. I enjoyed everything, the pork belly was tender and full of flavor - the BBQ pork bun was delicious ,soft and fluffy with chopped BBQ pork inside. The pork and chive dumplings were nicely fried and had a good amount of filling. While the soup dumplings were nice..I didn't really care for the combination of the filling. I'll definitely be back to try more off the menu.

I ordered the Pad Thai and BBQ dumplings, and both were delicious. Everything felt very fresh and light, not heavy or greasy at all. It's hard to find a spot that feels this "clean" and authentic. The service was friendly. Very good--highly recommend going if you're in the area!

Got deliver to the hotel and wanted a change from hotel food. I got the steamed pork bao and pork and corn dumplings. The bao was good, nice flavor. The dumplings were on point, good texture and great flavor. When I come back to Rochester I will try more from them.

My kids love this place! They love the crab rangoon, dumplings, sesame chicken, and fried rice. I like the portion sizes and menu variety so that they can try multiple things versus just a few big dishes, but the option is available. We primarily get various dumplings, shumai and pork fried rice. The soup dumplings are okay, however, the ginger dipping sauce it comes with is wonderful. The handmade dumplings are good. I'm biased when it comes to the steamed bao buns because my mom's is the best, but we did try the pork buns once. Things can add up just like dimsum and our family of 5 can get up to $70+ if we're super hungry. Overall, it's a good place to try many dishes with plenty of seating, parking, and fairly quick service!

Pretty good Chinese food. We ordered the chicken lo mein, peanut noodles with chicken, pork and napa steamed dumplings, shrimp dumplings, bbq pork buns, and egg custard buns Best: pork and Napa steamed dumplings. Filled fully and dipping sauce enhanced the flavors. Really good size Worst: egg custard buns. I wouldn't even call them egg custard buns because you open it and it looks like neon yellow gelatin inside. We only took the remaining three buns with us because my 20mo daughter likes the bun part so I plan to remove the "custard" and just let her eat the bun. The peanut noodles were actually really delicious. We didn't prefer the included lime with it so would advise to try some with and without the lime. The lo mein was real good. Our daughter at a lot of it. I would definitely order it again. The bbq pork bun was not bad but nothing special. The har gow/shrimp dumplings were fine but also nothing special. I am excited to come back on our next Costco run (we're from Buffalo) to try their Dan Dan noodles, zhajiangmien, lan zhou spicy noodles, and their rice plates!

Service was amazing, very clean restaurant, lo mein was perfect, dumplings were amazing especially the pork & chive pan fried ones. The bao buns weren't good tho, dry pork with way too much over powering hoisin sauce. The scallion pancakes were too oily with no flavor. I'll def be back for the dumplings tho.

Love coming here for the pork xiao long baos. They're the best ones in Rochester. The calamari is very good and we love ordering the pad see ew and sesame chicken. I will say the service could be better since it's a bit slow

It was dimly lit by design and had a really cool atmosphere. There were fairy lights, small lamps, and quiet instrumental music playing in the background. It sounded very similar to the soundtrack of Hyrule Field in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The food was tasty and very authentic! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about celiac disease and cross contamination. Everything on their menu is clearly marked if it's spicy and/or can be made gluten free, too! They have a big selection, and if my family's meals were anything to go by, everything is great. If I lived anywhere close to here, I would be a regular. Here are pictures of some (not all) of their menu pages.

Both qualities that I tend to like as long as a restaurant is clean... and Chen's was. The food was decent but nothing special. The garlic sauce didn't taste like garlic... More like brown sugar really. The sweet and sour wasn't great either. To be fair, the friends that we went with loved their dinners. The killer was the rude server. We had barely finished eating and weren't planning to linger but apparently finishing our drinks and chatting for five minutes was a bit too much for him. He told us that there were customers waiting and that we had to leave. I might note that there were a few empty tables at that time but even if there weren't that poor behavior was uncalled for. We won't be going back to Chen's.

Chopsticks had included a fork, napkins and the small packets of sauces without being asked. When I arrived at my hotel room and opened the weighted take-out bag, I was surprised to see a large bowl instead of the usual cardboard box for my Szechuan chicken. The accompanying rice was in a box though. The Szechuan chicken was super-hot in temperature and extra spicy as ordered. Normally, when you ask for extra spicy the restaurants are fearful to actually make it so. Maybe it was the double extra, extra that clued them in. But it normally does not work for others. The Szechuan chicken had a lot of vegetables (green/red peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, baby corn cobs) that make me feel better about eating Chinese food. The vegetables were not only abundant but fresh looking and cooked thoroughly. There was also plenty of white strips of chicken to enjoy with all those vegetables. My only negative was that for it to be that piping hot, it had to be microwaved. Not sure if it was done in a wok earlier and then reheated, but that is my assumption. I am in search of good egg rolls. I travel frequently and like to try different Chinese restaurants in different cities across the U.S. Good egg rolls are very difficult to find. They are either too greasy, insufficient filling, or just lacking flavor. These were not greasy at all. So not greasy I found myself wondering if they used a convection oven/ air fry oven. A+ for that, but C grade for the filling. The filling did not have much flavor overall and with the shell being dry, the filling needed moisture. Oh well, the search continues. They do have seating for around 50 people and it appeared clean from my brief exposure to the restaurant. The woman at the counter was friendly and spoke perfect English. The price for the food was fine, not too expensive and not cheap. I would return to Chopsticks to try out other items next time I am in Rochester.
