We go here often for takeout noodles or other Chinese food. Our favorite is the rice noodles with chicken. We usually keep going back for just that. Sometimes you have to wait a little while for your food to be ready but for the most part they are pretty efficient and service tends to begood. read more

Since we live in the area, we have ordered from this place a number of times. The food is good, although a bit more expensive than other takeaways in the area, is quick to prepare, and the restaurant appears clean. A nice extra would be some fortune cookies thrown in, like a lot of places used to do. A few points to keep in mind. 1. Never order beef dishes. They tend to be the lower cuts, very tough and chewy. That is often the case with Chinese takeaway places, though. 2. The young girl who is often there taking orders appears to be absolutely miserable. Never smiles, rarely can get a word out of her. No impact on stars, just something I find rather odd. I hope she is not a prisoner. read more

Very UNfriendly personnel. Food was not very good. Very disappointed! Dining room was not neat. read more

So sad that I spend $50 a this place plus tip. I usually go to wok and Grill on pritchard for my food when I eat out. Theywere closed for cleaning today. We googled and found Asia Cafe and it looked decent. This is around 1pm so I am thinking the food would be fresh at least. I have been eating crab ragoon for many year, Fantail Shrimp as well. They were definately refried from another time, The grease was dripping in the bag, That has never been the case, The fantail shrimp, I ordered two the first one was as said refried and hard. I just threw it away. Now the other 2 meals were great the shrimp was pretty big. The customer service was ehhh! I did not feel welcomed or appreciated like she was doing me a favor. No communication, I had to look into her eyes to get her attention as it took very long for this refried food to cook again. She finally looked at me for a second with no smile, 1 more minute and then gace full attention to the nex customer. Now upon exiting the door /window was just dirty and it could not have been from today. Respect your customers enough to sell quality food. I will never come back to this place. One thing dislike is the lack of gratitude when you do business with people. Then to serve old food is highly disrepectful. That is not ok. read more

Just moved to area and was so excited to see scallion pancakes on the menu. So sad they were burnt and not edible! read more

Asia Cafe - What a huge disappointment that they were burnt!!!! - Chinese Near Me - Clayton, North Carolina

I always get the Hunan Chicken from this place and it is always so delicious. They pay attention to detail and never forget to give me chili oils that I request. Folks that complain are entitled to their opinion, but that is always a good sign to me. They are backed up because of all the business. Their shrimp egg rolls are the best I've had all over the Triangle. The Hunan chicken is always cooked to perfection and the veggie medley is loaded with only the good stuff, not filler veggies. It's a great place to have so close to me. Great job Asia Cafe! read more

Asia Cafe - Delicious Hunan Chicken - Chinese Near Me - Clayton, North Carolina

Very rude service. The food barely passes as food and the place looks rundown. It's in a new building too. But the actual restaurant is rundown. read more

Ordered delivery. (See picture). Everything was tasty, fair portions. Crab Rangoons seem smaller than other places however, remained delicious. Total with delivery was $43.00. I would recommend this restaurant for delivery. Cannot speak to dine in. Received order within 35-45 minutes, lunchtime delivery. read more

The food is good but this is the second time I find strands of hair in my food not just one strand of hair but three.

Great food! Been coming to this location for years! Highly recommend! Always busy but they don't long to complete your order

The food is really good and it smells amazing the homemade sweet tea is also really good and the donuts are nice and fluffy

Terrible! Shrimp hibachi the shrimp were old i took 1 bite and spit it out it was rancid. The noodles and vegetables were all MUSHY! General Tso's chicken was fair at best Will NEVER order from here ever agains read more

I absolutely love this place! I come almost every day. The people are so friendly, and the food is amazing! I highly recommend checking it out! read more

Food is hit and miss. Had the veggie fried rice and it was below average. Kung Pao chicken was pretty good though

Food was amazing and the customer service was excellent!! Definitely will be coming back!!

It was absolutely tasteless. I ordered beef lomein. The slivers of beef were so small, you could barely tell it was "beef", I tried to add salt, soy sauce and chili oil, it was bland and unappealing. A perfect waste of $9.06. I will never visit this establishment again. A million thumbs down. read more

Family had take out from Asia Cafe and found the food to be fresh and delicious. We had steamed dumplings, egg rolls, beef with broccoli, and Hunan tofu. Happy to find our new Chinese restaurant in the area. read more

Ordered Gen. Tso chicken with mixed vegetables. Wife ordered chicken fried rice. Was told it would be 15 minutes. We waited at restaurant while many pickups came and left. 45 minutes later our order was ready. Gen. Tso chicken was a concealed mess of mostly stale or overcooked chicken. Mixed vegetables had no cabbage at all even though we were told it did. We will try one more time hoping this is not normal. read more

Good general tso's chicken, and good egg rolls. Terrible phone etiquette. Haven't tried anything else.

My search for good Chinese food in the area continues. The "chicken" is mostly soggy breading. The sesame sauce is too sweet and the rice just wasn't good. I ended up throwing the whole plate away. read more

We order chicken noodle soup from them and got food poisoning. The smell inside was questionable and heavy on fried oil. They were our go to in the beginning when we moved to flowers area but it's been a year and im disappointed. The food progressively got worse and questionable in quality. The noodles don't taste real and I would stay away from. read more

My go to spot when I get take out. Have been here over a dozen times so no need to go on about how good or how bad. Just to provide some information, the food is always spot on and my order has always been correct. Currently I am waiting on my order, along with the rest of Johnston County! Yes I do refer this place read more

Good food, my family likes it. Good Atmosphere for a good place, not many places out here where I live. But good food

No complaints. Fast service. The food is always hot & fresh. Flavorful. Hits the spot every time. Decent prices.

We get take out from here a couple times a month. The food and service is always good.

Absoultely delicious! Our typical Chinese place was closed on Tuesdays and we found Asia Cafe which is actually closeer to our house and was open. We didnt even know this was a chinese place. Ordered takeout and we were very happy. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty. This is our new spot for sure. We also noticed they offer Hibachi so we can't wait to try that next. Highly Recommend!!! read more

Been to this place 3 times so far. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere, but in a nice little upscale center. For a small spot that focuses on take-out, it is really good. The food is pretty authentic and full of flavor. Flavor is something that I've noticed that has been lacking in many places in the area, so this place is my go-to spot. Looks like it's family run, and I totally dig that. I'm sure if you are craving an authentic dish that's not on the menu, they can whip it up for you. I seem to go here every time I'm in town. Yes, it's that good, and worth the drive. Make it worth your while and order extra items to go. read more

Had not been here in a while. Ordered Kung Pao Chicken. Chicken was dry and chewy. They are still hiding behind plexiglass and wearing masks too. Felt like I stepped into the twilight zone. read more

I lived in New York my whole life and this is the closest thing to Chinese food! It's out of my way for sure but completely worth the time and the place is clean and the owner and staff are extremely friendly!! read more

Best Chinese food in Clayton. We're always happy with our order.

Food is always fantastic from this little place. As other reviews state, though, customer service is severely lacking. The lady working today was horribly rude on the phone and was even worse when my husband went to pick up our order. Im all for supporting local businesses, but for the customer service, we'll think twice about returning. read more

We live close by and come here sometimes. Its mediocre tasting, but it is consistently so. Mediocre tasting by design, if you will. The little girls taking the order and running the cash register and not happy to be there. It must be awful to work in a family business at their age, I can't blame them. Most of the time I go to Sushi Iwa in Clayton. The food is much, much better, but if you need a quick Chinese fix and don't feel like driving, it is OK. read more

Food is always great. I have had issues in the past with long waits. I order and it said it would ready by 5:24. Food is worth the wait, but it was ready at 5:24. Very happy with the renewed customer service. read more

I ordered fried dumplings and the 2 item hibachi combo. The fried dumplings weren't fried on both sides so it had a very soft texture. Which I did not want. I wanted a crispy texture. The shrimp and steak combo was very, and I mean VERY BLAND. No flavor!! I was expecting a little better honestly, since I saw a lot of people going in. Not worth a second visit... read more

We ate take out from here a few times a year or so back. It went through a rough spot back then I think (hence some other reviews). We were disappointed too and swore them off for a while. Because nothing delivers but pizza out here we tried them again. These days they are much faster, and the food has improved. The black pepper chicken is really good. read more

Moved to NC a little over a year ago, but purchased my home 3 yrs ago. Every time we were in town that was the go-to Asian Restaurant we went due to close by convenience. All-in-all the food is mediocre. All the food we've ordered has been a bit more spicy than we're used to, but like I said, its ok. My hunt for really good Asian food will still continue. read more

Great food, average prices. Family owned. Not going to stick around and eat, but for takeout they can't be beat.

This is my go to Chinese takeout place. I've never been disappointed... but it can get busy so it's best to call ahead or order before your shopping and then come back to get it. Prices are good too! read more

The quality of the food has been going downhill of late. Just ordered the chicken cashew dinner. Chicken was old and burnt, cashews were soggy. Overall no flavor. This has been the case the last couple of times we've gotten takeout here. We keep trying since it is so convenient. I think I'll go elsewhere from now on. read more

Gross food! My egg foo young was black from the old oil. It was greasy and upset my stomach. The egg roll was dripping oil. We've tried this place twice and that's all they'll get from us. Disgusting both times. The lady that takes the order is so rude. Like you're bothering her. read more
