He didn't look like a mini poodle but mind you he was only 4 months old and just a little baby so his first haircut omg I didn't recognize him. His hair is trimmed around both eyes. Same groomer both times. Also did not trim his nails, and was extremely rude to us when we asked about it. Said she could do it, but it would be 45 minutes. Left without having it done, stopped at another groomer a block away, who did it for free. Guess where we'll go for the next grooming? Posting this to help other canines.

They had not cleaned up any of the dog hair from at least the previous day. The area that holds the tables where the dogs hair is cut was evenly disgusting. I understand it's a grooming place, but it's also supposed to be cleaned daily. Never going back again.

Today I set up an appt for her and dealt with a rather rude lady on the phone, I was told abruptly that her rabies was out of date and asked if I could provide an updated shot record; which is not an issue. Upon arriving to the appt and providing the requested paperwork, I was told very rudely that she had other required vaccinations and she wouldn't be allowed in. I explained we had been coming here for years, she has all her required vaccines (with printed proof on hand), and I brought everything they asked for just 2 hours earlier; yet we were talked down to and made to feel like we had offended them somehow. It was very disrespectful, unprofessional, and lost a repeat customer that had a well behaved dog and always tipped the groomers. I recommend replacing the woman working the front desk at 11:45 on Monday, Feb 9, 2026, along with anyone else that treats customers the way she does, unless you are trying to get your customers to support your competitors. I was charged a dematting fee of 50 dollars for two dogs, but all my dogs were shaved downed even the one that wasn't matted. My wife almost cried when she woke up from her nap and saw the dogs haircuts. When I paid for them, I assumed my wife told the groomer to cut them this short, but she didn't. I feel like if they were just going to be shaved down I could have took them to PetSmart for half the price or shaved them myself. This is the exact review I left this place and someone responded explaining that they were sorry for not communicating that the dogs needed to be completely shaved and the groomer just assumed since my other two matted dogs needed to be shaved it was ok to give the unmated dog the exact same ugly haircut.

After only seven months I finally rescued my horse from T/-. That may sound harsh, but to use any…read moreother word than "rescued" would be giving this place more credit than it deserves. I had long suspected that they weren't feeding my horse, so I started keeping track. Sure enough, they were skipping her feeds which violates the initial contract agreement we had to sign. If she had even one bite of hay in her pen, they would skip giving her hay (which poses a problem since I'm paying for daily hay). When it rains, the pens get saturated and don't drain for days. They don't clean out pens and no one ever checks the algae-infested water. My last major complaint is that texting or calling the manager of the place results in absolutely nothing being done to resolve our concerns. Every time I mentioned (to the manager, to the barn help) that my horse wasn't fed, everyone points fingers and no one takes accountability. I'll wrap up this review with a strong urging to avoid T/- like the plague. You get what you pay for, and if all you care about is cheap boarding, then that's exactly what you'll get. Don't expect anything else. And finally, some stats: -From April 2023 to June 2023, my horse was not given feed more than one third of the time -While we boarded, again for seven months, we saw at least half a dozen sets of barn help come and go, which means there's a problem with how employees are treated or there's a problem with hiring -My horse was left out to pasture for 3 weeks after a major rain (and I was not consulted or asked if that was OK, because I most certainly would have said no that is not OK) -100% of the boarders I've spoken to have said they show up daily to feed and care for their horses because if they don't then care isn't guaranteed

From our initial contact with Southern Doodlin to any follow up interaction our experience was nothing less than perfect. By the time we brought him home from Olivia he was 90% potty trained & 100% crate trained. We only ever had less than 5 accidents inside our home, that's how fast he was able to learn!
