K9 Clarity - David helped us so much with our dog, Maverick.

David at K9 Clarity is amazing! His methods and ways of training are immaculate compared to others I have experienced in the past. I would highly only recommend him to anyone looking to have a well behaved pup in the family! It was a big plus that my little lady absolutely LOVED David! She was always fearful of strangers and men more specifically, and David helped change that. Her anxious chewing and separation anxiety were also remedied and subsided as we worked with David and now she is a social happy pup! I highly recommend K9 Clarity to anyone looking for an amazing trainer !

He starts with the fundamentals that allow you give quick corrections as the training gets more complex. He's great at walking you through each step, explaining the 'why' behind it, and then moves at the pace that you're comfortable with. If you're consistent and you practice often, you'll see the rewards! He is very patient, great at explaining and showing and correcting if you're not doing it quite right, and as I said before, he gives you the 'why' behind everything which I think is so so so important. I was able to wrap my head around the concept and now I can better understand my dog and her behaviors, which allows me to effectively correct them!

Please do not take your dog to this facility under any circumstances…read more My dog was injured twice in just three weeks while in their care--both times severely enough that he needed sedation, stitches, antibiotics, and pain medication. When we first started using this daycare, I noticed frequent billing errors and miscommunication, but I tried to be patient. Then things became more concerning. Three weeks ago, I boarded my dog while I was out of town. Within hours, I got a call saying he had been injured by another dog and had to be rushed to my vet for stitches. That alone had me seriously considering canceling his membership. But I decided to let him finish out the final week we had already paid for. On the very first day back, just hours after dropping him off, they called me again: he was injured--again. This time, they tried to blame him, saying he "escaped from his crate." Their stories kept changing, and I never got a consistent or honest explanation. Even the district manager admitted she didn't believe the injury was caused by the crate. When I spoke with the owner, it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. He was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional--yelling over me, refusing to let me speak, and at one point told me, as I was crying over the phone, that he wouldn't "sit on the phone and listen to me cry" and that I needed to "pull myself together." I've never been treated with such disrespect and coldness. Since sharing my experience online, multiple people have come forward saying similar things happened to their dogs at this same facility. I trusted them with my dog's safety and well-being, and they failed him twice. Please don't make the same mistake. In response to Dogtopia and their comment, you only covered his stay because I demanded it. You also are responsible for his care so taking him to the vet because of his injuries caused by another dog is not going above and beyond. We were out of town so would you just leave him to suffer in his cage? You also state that his second injury is from escaping from his cage but if his cage was latched properly that would have never happened. I would also like to add that the vet said both injuries resembled each other they were just in different locations. This is not from trying to get out of the cage which your district manager Amanda agreed!
