On November 30th we had purchased a sleeper couch. The couch has arrived after waiting over a month!! We were so happy since my friend sleeps on the couch and she was looking forward to sleep on the "real" one. We were terribly disappointed as the dispatcher told us that he won`t place the couch in our apartment because it is too big. He didn't even try to do it because he was just lazy. We had a four hour window and waited all day long just to find out that they will not put the couch inside our apartment. We had same length of a couch before and they were able to accommodate it. Unfortunately, we were very unlucky to come across a dispatcher who did not want to help. The sad point is that after all that waiting my friend will sleep on the floor. As a 24 year old, it is sometimes difficult walking into some stores and expecting help with finding what I need. Sometimes sales associates either ignore me or are very quick to judge me and jump to the "what's your budget" question. Now I'm not rich, but I can afford to buy my own things and would appreciate the courtesy of being helped as if I was any other customer. With that being said, Emad A. was absolutely awesome. He might be the most patient and courteous guy I've ever met. Emad approached me with a smile on his face and asked me immediately if I needed help. Not only did he help me find the couch I wanted, but he went around with me finding individual parts to complete the 14-piece set that was on sale on Black Friday. Trust me when I say that we both got in our cardio for the day. Sorry Emad! I just got my living room delivered today and I couldn't be happier with how it came out. Thank you Ashley Furniture for employing people like Emad who not only helps his customers find what they need, but also builds a rapport with them. I purchased a dining room table that started peeling. I bought their protection plan (myprotectall). Both parties decided not to cover the claim. The Ashley's because they said water had spilled on the table and that water was not allowed on spill on it because water damages the table. The warranty company refused to cover it because I didn't have the date when I first saw the issue and they don't cover things if you don't report it within 30 days. DON'T BUY FURNITURE HERE. It's breaks right away and their protection plan is the worst. read more

We bought Tempurpeic Split king bed from them, but we found out that thickness of mattress are different upon arrival. One side is a few inches higher and feeling sleeping on the stairs. The people at the store location in Santa Clarita were wonderful. The delivery guys were wonderful. However I waited two three weeks for our bedroom set or so. When it arrived the bed has two left legs and they can't put it together. They call customer service warehouse or what ever it is. They put me on the phone with the person and they tell me that if I refuse the order, who knows how many more weeks or months till I get the bed. So then they tell me it'll take five days to order the leg and then you'll have to schedule a person to deliver it and put it together. While this is going on I did not check one of the drawers on one of the nightstands. It is totally rubbing and scraping . Now the guys have left and I have signed in the rush. I call them back and they won't take a return on it they must send someone to repair it sometime in October. We didn't buy the cheapest bedt at Ashley, definitely not. However, customer service and them quoting their policy when they have messed up order and not going the extra mile to fix an issue leaves them with ONE STAR. They literally force you to get the warranty and if you decide not to, they will literally say shipping is 89$ which conveniently is close to the warranty price. I did my homework and read in the terms and conditions that after $400/$500 standard door step delivery is free, and the guy working at Ashley Northridge said "this is Amurrica, shipping is not free". I literally got the same couch for so much less and half price for warranty and half price for shipping. Go to any other Ashley furniture and they will work with you. On 7/19/17 my husband and I were very excited to get a new bed frame and dresser. We went to Ashley's, found what we needed. The sales rep that ended up finally helping us was nice. We ended up getting two pillows. That is where we made a mistake. We were told the pillows were not in stock at the store but we could pick them up on 7/30/17. Annoying but not a major issue. I show up to the store and they don't have the pillows there. They tell me they aren't in stock, to try calling another day. On 8/8 our furniture is dropped off. No problems. I get a call to rate the service. I tell them the delivery went well and I inquired about the pillows. She checked and said the pillows were not in stock but I can get them shipped and have them delivered in 5-7 days. I agree and I wait. 8/18 still no pillows. I call to get an update. They tell me they haven't even shipped. They will ship on Tuesday 8/22. I am so incredibly frustrated. I was told I could call on Tuesday to get a tracking number. I waited for my package. It is now 8/29, over a month from my order. I call to get a tracking number.to my disappointment the pillows STILL HAVE NOT SHIPPED. They said the pillows are in stock in their warehouse and will ship September 4th. I honestly doubt I'll ever get my pillows. I will most likely go cancel the order in the store. read more

Do not buy anything from here. First off, they are a franchise so their prices are higher than other stores and online. They claim to have deals but the online prices are actually better. I ordered before thanksgiving, set a delivery date 3 weeks out and was told all items were in stock. I took the day off work waiting for delivery then was called and notified certain parts for the furniture were on back order and the items wouldn't be delivered. They set a new delivery date 3 more weeks out. Ridiculous. I called the store numerous times only to be rerouted to the call center. The call center can't help and says you have to contact the store directly. I've gone around and around numerous times only to be told to just go into the store to solve the problem. Really?! Ashley Home Goods has a very bad delivery system. We purchased two couches and were told that we would receive the delivery on a Thursday and would receive a call on Wednesday giving us a time frame for the delivery. The call came through on Tuesday and our delivery was scheduled for the following week. This messed our plans for the weekend. I called coustmer service and they said that I would receive a text as to the time of delivery. They only had my land line and therefore I would never receive the notice. Aslelys needs to have an information sheet as to their develivery policies. A few days ago I receved a text to rate them on a scale of 1-10. I gave them a 2. I brought a sofa and loveseat from this store on January 24th 2020 and also purchased the 5 Yr Furniture Protection Plan for $ 99.99. In August 2020, My sofa backside wooden was broken. From August I am being called Ashley to get it fixed since I have Protection Plan, up to now they sent 5 technicians different times and they just come and go saying 'another technician' will come. Am so disappoint so have my problem is not fixed. I do not recommend Ashley Homestore to any furniture's, even if you buy do not ever never buy the Protection Plan, its a waste of money. read more

Bought a bed frame from Ashley and it broke in about a month. We got the warrantee so they agreed to send someone to fix it. The first guy that showed up showed up and spent an hour looking at the bed and then said it was a broken piece which I told them on the phone. He then said they had to order the piece which took 3 more weeks and then another 2 to schedule them to come fix it. I took off the whole day and sat by the door. Litterally in my living room less than 5 feet from the door. We have a Ring and a doorbell wired into the house. Nothing. After waiting for a few hours I get a call saying they were there and no one was home. I have checked my ring footage and no one from Ashley showed up at all through out the morning. The first time I thought maybe it was just a bad go. But no. My previous review and this one still stand - Their furniture is crap - their service is crap - and they don't care either way. She was so helpful in assisting me pick out the perfect living room and bedroom set to go with my flooring and paint colors. Her knowledge, patience and decorating skills were truly appreciated. A week later they delivered the furniture and every piece of furniture was scratched due to unprofessional delivery team. The delivery asked for $20 in cash to move my old furniture! Can you believe that? That's called STEALING!!!!!! anyhow after 4-5 weeks going back and forth to change or repair my sofas I achieved NOTHING. I had 6 appointments for technician and and and later for exchange. Every single time they left!!!!!!!!!! Without even letting me know! Don't let Donna D. in the Northridge, CA store help you. She doesn't know her stuff and is very rude! I spent a lot of time in the store with her looking for a new sofa, love seat and chair. She started out by asking me to pull up pictures of the sets I had found online while she quickly ran to the bathroom. She was gone 20+ minutes! I had very specific questions that she should have known the answers to but she didn't and couldn't be bothered getting anyone to answer them for her. For example, one of the fabric's I was interested in was microfiber. I asked her several different ways how to tell what it was and where I could find the info on that item to verify and all she would do is touch it and tell me you can tell from how it feels. She showed me several that I knew darn well were not microfiber because I had already researched those online. It ended up a tossup between 2 sets and I told her I was going to think about it overnight and come back the next day. She gave me her business card and literally told me to contact her any time. Her card had a cell number on it and her hours. I texted her when her workday started telling her I found a better deal online but would buy from her if she could beat the price. Her reply called me by the wrong name but she said she would beat the price and also give me a $50 gift card. She asked me to reply "yes" to a text I was going to get to schedule an appointment with her. I never got that text and didn't hear back from her for an hour when she told me she found out she could meet but not beat the price. I replied asking if I would still get the $50 gift card. Her unprofessional and rude reply said she couldn't be on the phone all the time! I ended up going to the Canoga Park, CA store and met with Gaston H. who was absolutely wonderful and made me feel like I was the only person in the entire store. read more

PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! I have had the worst experience ever! I purchased a dining table and chairs to go along with it. I received my chairs about a week after I ordered them online. I received a message that I would have my table delivered about a week later. The day comes and I am excited to finally get my table. Nobody shows up or even bothered to call me to tell me they wouldn't deliver my table. I was at home waiting for the table for hours, I even left work early. I call the next day and they reschedule and the day comes and again no call no show, this happened 6 times!! 6!! I cancelled so many plans and left work early all 6 times just to be at home for when they delivered it. Oh and by the way their customer service is horrible they did not help at all, one of the representatives actually hung up on me. You won't believe how many times I had to call them, keep in mind the hold is about 30 minutes. The last time I called they finally told me that the table is backordered! Why didn't they tell me this in the first place instead of giving me a delivery date 6 different times. I still have not received my table and its been over a month now. I told them they had to compensate me for this and they only discounted $85 which is totally not fair after they did this to me 6 times. They still don't know when the table will be available but yet one of the representatives said they had a few in the warehouse, they all say they will call you back with further information and never do they just want to get rid of you. Let me begin by saying, I have vowed to NEVER step foot into another Ashley store after what I experienced with their previous furniture insurance company, Guardsman. In 2014, I bought the whole living room deal, couches, tables, rugs, decorations, and etc. The employee insisted we buy the insurance because the couches we bought were faux leather and when it starts to peel/bubble we can have the insurance come out and fix it. Deal! Sound really good to me so we bought it. A year later I noticed the leather started bubbling but nothing to big. Now in 2017, the bubbles have finally ripped and my couch looks like shit. So I called the insurance company, sent them all the pictures and documentation. They contacted me a week later and said we don't cover any of those damages...You can only imagine how pissed I was to buy $100 insurance for 5 years and just to be told they only cover parts and pieces but not the material ALTHOUGH my paperworks states they cover rips/bubbles/tears. So I had to contact Ashley's corporate and they offered me in-store credit because they don't make my couch anymore. We were in need of a TV stand so we went in to see what they had, very nice TV stands. The one with the fireplace and built in heater caught my attention. I met the manager Jose when he gave me the measurements of the stand then he introduced me to Daniel and told me if I purchase something with Daniel he'll give me $50 off. So, we ended up buying the fireplace and Daniel offered the insurance to me and I explained my story to him and why I was even in there and he told me they have a new insurance company and felt bad for me so he told Jose and Jose gave me the insurance for free to prove to me they changed and they were sorry for everything I went through. And that is what superb customer service looks like! I appreciate Jose for being an awesome manager and Daniel for taking his time walking around with us, actually caring about us as a consumers, and making sure I get the best deal possible. I don't live in Northridge but I would drive back to this location and make another purchase with Daniel! My delivery was scheduled for 2 days later, and they called before coming and everything was set up just fine. My stand arrived without damaged. Everything went perfectly. read more

Worst customer service ever. Called customer service to talk about an issue we had with something we bought and they were so rude and had a terrible attitude. They told me to come in store, I come in store and all the customer service people were so rude! I talked to a young lady there and she told me I had to call customer service.... when an hour before I called and they told me to come in. The people who work on the floor to sell were really nice but those customer service people need to get some sort of training on how to greet customers and basic common courtesy. If you can't get along with people please don't work in a customer service job. Next time I will be going to a different furniture store, definitely don't recommend wasting your time and coming in here. read more

Omg, I had the best furniture experience here! I went in with my fiancé looking for a mattress and headboard. We had the pleasure of shopping with Edwin. He was so knowledgeable about the products. He never pressured us into making the purchase. We got a great deal with 34% off and $200 gift card to use for our headboard on the same purchase. We also purchased the mattress protector with cooling technology. For that they knocked off about 30%-40% off the delivery fee AND $150 in gift cards for future purchase! Thanks Edwin! **update** I had high hopes for Ashley's. Edwin failed to mention our bed frame was backorder. We spoke with the warehouse in Riverside who advise it would be another week. It's been 3 weeks and our bed just arrived. We requested for it to be assembled and called the warehouse the day before delivery to confirm the assemble portion and they assured it was noted. Upon arrival the delivery man advised that it was not noted on our account and they can't assemble it.
