This review is going to be short and to the point. I went to in Ashley's in Manassas Virginia. In the 2 and a 1/2 months that I dealt with them. I was given 5 different delivery dates And several excuses for the confusion. At 1 point in time I called 5 times and was on hold for approximately 20 Minutes on average. Each time I left the message and waited 12 hours for response, No call back our response was given. I had to cancel the delivery twice and request refund twice. At the and I had to drive over an hour to pick up my furniture. It was explained to me that the one manager I spoke to was not a manager and no longer work there. This company is on organized and unprofessional in my personal opinion and experience. read more

I visited the store looking for a bedroom set for my son. Since it was Labor Day weekend, the store was busy as we're it's salespeople. The manager, Kevin, showed me around while I waited for a salesperson. Kevin matched me up with Mike, a new employee and I spent at least an hour or more looking at bedroom sets and comparing prices. During that time, i felt comfortable, not pressured, and enjoyed talking with Mike. I did not end up making a purchase because I couldn't find a set I liked within my price point. Even then, I found Mike to be patient and understanding. I would def ask for Mike again! read more

Then she asked me if I wanted to pay it monthly and I said no I will pay it all now. She finally convinced me and little did I know I had signed a contract with RAC !! I have already payed 2,000 and have to return them because I didn't know I was renting them. The lady jaqueline Cruz told me 0 interest and that I was buying them . I got screwed over ! I purchased a 7 piece bedroom set and dining room set from this location 3 weeks ago and was informed the delivery time would be 2-4 weeks. I called to get an update and was left on hold, then visited the store and was told my items were scheduled for delivery on May 27th and 29th; I would receive a call providing a timeframe. On May 27th I had not received a call so I called myself and was told a portion of my order had arrived but that three pieces were delayed and were not expected to arrive until July 21st. I asked if the pieces that had arrived could be delivered and was told split deliveries were an exception to policy and she would need management's approval; a manager/supervisor would call me back. On May 31st when I still had not been contacted, I called back to be told again, three pieces were delayed, expected to arrive now in AUGUST, and again that a split delivery was an exception to policy and would need to be approved- by whom at this point I'm not sure because the person I spoke with was a manager and there was no prior record of a split delivery request having been submitted. He let me know that he would contact me later that evening or have another manager contact me the following day which of course never happened. The fact that not once has ANYONE from this company picked up the phone to call me, is completely unacceptable and horrible customer service. There is pretty large discrepancy between 2-4 weeks and 2-4 months in delivery, and had I been told that up front I would have selected another set. Not one of the many people I've spoken with has been the least bit empathetic regarding my situation which leads me to believe this is not a rare occurrence. I've posted about this on Facebook and was flooded with stories of similar experiences. I also posted on Twitter and was contacted by a representative who provided me with the customer support number (only after I told her that waiting the five days she stated it could take to hear back was again, UNACCEPTABLE). Contacted customer support and was informed that the Manassas location is privately owned and therefore they did not have access to my information. The representative referred me to a local customer support line which turned out to be the number for the showroom in Fredericksburg, VA NOTa customer support number for the Manassas location. My order was mishandled from day one and resolution is still pending. Once they have your money, you may as well be dead to them; they've done nothing but give me the run around, ignore my calls and every supposed escalation has turned out to be yet another dead end. This whole experience has been a complete nightmare, they get one star from me only because there's no way to give them zero! read more

Salespeople were exception four years ago when I bought my living room set. I purchased a five year warranty and after just four years of normal use, the Durablend is cracked and peeling and it is not covered! It's covered as an incident but not from usage. My dog can chew it and it's covered. Please be careful and inspect what you are buying. Durablend is not Durable. read more

I will never shop here again. The salesperson assured me that my furniture was at the warehouse and would be delivered within 15 days. After 3 1/2 months I finally got my furniture but the pillows were not in yet. It's now going on 6 months and I receive a call, that my pillows are in and ready for pickup. I asked the manager If they could send them to me and this is the reply I got was. We don't mail out pillow and if you can pick this up by 2pm we will send them back to the warehouse. read more

Our adventure starts about a year ago. We were told we were going to be moving into a new apartment so we went to Ashley to take a look at what they had. We walked in expected to kind of "play house" and find things that we liked as we were still a dating couple and we thought we should start with finding things that we could agree on before deciding to purchase anything. Well we ended up picking out our furniture that day and putting down enough to hold the ticket at the current prices and finance at a great interest rate. Shortly there after we found out that the people who inhabited the apartment we wanted to move into would not be leaving. So we ran back into Ashley and told them that we didn't know when we'd be able to move and have the furniture delivered, but that we were willing to start making payments immediately to hold the furniture. They told us not to worry and that they would hold everything for us until we were ready for it. Well three months ago we found out that an apartment had opened up and we went in to make sure everything was still in order and to "visit" our furniture, take measurements, etc. and were told that the order had been canceled and we would have to re-place it. They had the original order, would lock in the same interest rate and payment plan, everything! We were thrilled that though we had to redo the order we would still be able to get everything we had locked in before, and the payment we had made would still apply. The rub was that as our new sales rep, Merch, started to go through everything we quickly realized that our initial sales rep had actually made multiple errors in the order. We ended up spending a couple of hours there that night while Merch went through everything several times to make sure we had what we wanted. We added a couple of things to the order, changed a couple of pieces, and Merch even gave us the current sale price on items we had ordered that were now on clearance as opposed to maintaining the prices we had "locked in" a year ago. We were thrilled with him. We signed all the paperwork that evening and dropped off another large payment (the difference between our finance amount and the total) the next morning. A couple of weeks later they called to set up a delivery date with us, and the day before the delivery they called to confirm the delivery window. The delivery team showed up at the earliest possible time and a team of three guys brought every piece up to our third floor apartment all on their own. No one complained, there was no damage to anything delivered, and one of them was friendly enough to have a conversation with me as he unpacked it all. Our bedroom furniture was all put together in about 20 minutes and looks beautiful. All in all, it took less than an hour to complete the delivery. We were thrilled. We will absolutely return to Ashley for any future furniture needs, and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for high quality furniture at excellent prices. Had it not been for the hiccups with our first sales rep (whose name I can't remember for the life of me) this would be a five star review. If I could base the experience purely off our time spent with Merch, it would be 5 stars easily. Thank you, Ashley Furniture! You made the moving process that much more exciting. read more

DON'T GO TO THIS STORE. THE MANAGER NAMED DAVE IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND THE DELIVERY SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. You will not get your stuff for at least a month. I ordered a sofa and a 5 piece bedroom set at the beginning of this month and was told that it takes about 10-14 days to receive the furniture. It has already been more than two weeks since my order and they are now saying that the estimated delivery day for the bedroom furniture is May 29th. I requested that they deliver the sofa set before that date at least and they finally agreed to do that. The morning of the delivery date, the driver called me at 7:00am and demanded that we get to the delivery address (haven't moved into the new house yet) an hour earlier than the scheduled time window. When we agreed to go earlier than they had told us to be there the day before, they driver called me and told me they wouldn't be there for another hour or so, because they had the wrong address in their GPS....talk about an inefficient delivery system and lack of communication between the person that calls you to schedule deliveries and the delivery driver. When they finally arrived, one of the sofa pieces was not the one we had ordered and the other had a burn mark on one of the pillows as well as a puncture. If we hadn't noticed these defects at the time of delivery, we would have been in trouble. Had to schedule another delivery day for them to come and replace the wrong piece, but it was taken care of, so we thought why complain? We went in to see the manager about the bed situation and they told us there is no guarantee that we will receive the bed by the 29th of this month. When we explained how much trouble we had he was extremely dismissive and upon me mentioning that I had been to their store THREE times for this order, he said, "this is the first time I'm seeing you." That's just one example of how he was rude and refused us to let us cancel the bed from the order. NEVER BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE EVERY AGAIN. ugh. read more

I bought a couch here in early March, so before COVID-19 truly made a mess out of life. I paid in full for the couch, 5 year coverage and delivery service. First delivery men kicked the couch so hard they put a hole through it. Then had to take a second full day off work for the delivery men to shove and man handle couch that they broke something inside of it. They said their people could fix it. Weeks later I took a third day off work for their guy to say he couldn't fix it and the delivery guys knew that. Got a call and I told them I wanted a new couch. I paid for a new couch. Not a broken one!! Weeks go by and I call them and leave messages that are never returned by their care team. I go in person back to the store and get a delivery date set. I take a fourth day off work. They call to say they are there and I am down there 3 minutes later to see the truck driving away. I chased them for a while to no avail. I called them back and THEY DIDN'T HELP OR APOLOGIZE! They knew they were wrong because I have video of them leaving before they said they did. They did nothing to help, ABSOLUTE WORST MOST ABYSMAL CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I set up another delivery and took fifth day off work. I got a new couch which these delivery men ripped on delivery. I have it still knowing I will never get it replaced. I wanted my delivery fee returned, seeing as they failed completely repeatedly. They refused and said they were sending a $100 gift card which a month later I still don't have. This is by far the worst customer service I've ever seen or heard of anywhere. The customer service rep was great and was very helpful at the store. The problem is delivery. I bought my sons bedroom set, I was told it had to be bought as a package deal because it was on clearance and you would think I would get it as a package deal on delivery. Well day one, they just had the bed, not the other 4 pieces. Never had the nightstand on the ticket. Was never informed by a customer rep saying the other pieces would have to be scheduled at another time. Got that fixed, then was told it would be delivered Thursday, okay great, Delivery guys came and only had the nightstand, nothing else. The item that was never on a ticket of purchase. Driver called customer service and they promised a delivery of today, Friday. The excuse was the trucks crossed paths and that is why it wasn't delivered on Thursday. Never got a phone call for delivery time for today, so I called and they told me between 5-8, while I was on the phone with them and customer care rep called and left me a message saying they would have to reschedule my delivery for another date. So I called back and apparently they couldn't get it on a truck. I still have no resolution as to when its being delivered. Saying the earliest they could deliver was next Tuesday, unacceptable to me. Then when she kept telling me there was nothing she could and couldn't talk to a manager, i hung up! I have taken three different days and times off through out the week from my job. Who in their right mind can do that. They have no concern of inconvenience, the best they can do is schedule a new day and time. That is unacceptable to me. I feel all $139.99 in delivery charges should be credited to my credit card. They don't even offer anything in inconvenience. I was going to make a future purchase of living room and after all this they lost all business of mine. The absolute worst place to shop for furniture. You will find the exact same furniture at other stores for less. They promise the "Ashley's quality and care" but only care about scamming you out of your money. They have a "price match guarantee" but refused to price match my items. The store clerk directly told me that I was trying to steel his money because he wasn't going to make enough commission! Then I spoke to TWO managers and they lied to me and told me that "the price match guarantee" was an error and does not exist. He said he actually got an email that same day from corporate advising the employees to not honor the price match. Ha! I emailed them online and they were more than happy to price match my items. When I went to place my order I received an error message saying I needed to check my shipping and billing address. (No they did not match) I didn't want my furniture to be mailed to the old address. I wanted it to go to my new location. I called and was told that the addresses need to match and I needed to change it. Makes NO sense. You should be able to buy furniture for whoever you want and send it WHEREVER you want, not only to where you receive your bills. I buy online at so many other places and have my packages go to my job sometimes. That doesn't mean I want all my bills going there too! I thought that was ridiculous. I ended the call and called back later on to try to speak with a manager. I called and never got through to anyone. I prompted through to online help and was on hold for 30 minutes. What a joke of a business, went in there Friday afternoon to look at their "door buster" sofas advertised for $198 for Labor day, spoke to salesman and was going to get 2 of them and he said I could pick them up at the Fredericksburg warehouse, I guess the manager overheard who was sitting on a sofa playing with his cell phone and jumped up and said "you must pay $169" for delivery, these cant be picked up. I looked at the fine print and nothing specified that. He claims Ashley is loosing money on the sofas so they need to recoup it by overcharging for delivery. This store is a joke and the company is a joke. Employees very scantily dressed and unprofessional. Even called Ashley customer care who claims she had never heard of them saying items cannot be picked up but she decided to call the store manager Emily at the manassas location who said thats what they want to do. Very deceitful business practices. No one wants your overpriced garbage furniture, only reason we were going to buy these was for a gift to someone who desperately needed a sofa. read more

Absolute worst purchasing experience of my life. The salesman convinces me to purchase the whole living room set, telling me the monthly payments would be about $60 per month. After getting approved by a lender, the salesman tries to get me to start signing the paperwork without telling me the monthly payment would actually be over $200 a month. I told them to cancel the transaction before the store manager came and "worked some magic" to get my payment down to about $80 per month. After putting down $2,700 ($700 more than I wanted to), I was told my furniture would be delivered the following Wednesday. That Wednesday, I called to ask where my furniture was and they told me that it wouldn't even be in the warehouse until 2 weeks later and that they would give me a call when it arrived. Three weeks later I call and ask about my furniture. They had been sitting on it and never called me. When I asked if I could, ya know, have it, the woman on the phone said she'd transfer me to the delivery department and then promptly hung up on me. I had to call back and sit on hold again (for about a half hour as of right now). One more screw up on their end and I'm going in to the store to cancel the order. I will never buy from here again and I will tell everyone I know not to shop here. read more

I have NEVER taken the time to write a review about a business, but due to the horrible experience I had at Ashley in Manassas, VA, I felt the need to do so. While we were happy with the furniture we chose, although we were guaranteed to have it by the end of February, it is April and we still have not received it. No one called to tell us our furniture would be late - we only find out about it after we called to check on its status. Being upset that our furniture was so late, I called and asked to speak to the manager. After no one returned my initial call, I called again and I spoke to one of the managers (Tom), who was supposed to get back to me. He never did. I called him back, spoke to him, and again, he was supposed to get back to me, which he never did. I called several times after that, left several messages for him, and again, he never got back to me - customer service at its finest! I called on another day and was told that another manager would call me back - again I NEVER heard from anyone! So, I emailed the Ashley customer service in hopes of hearing back from someone. Finally, someone returned my email and told me that someone from the customer service dept. of the Manassas store would be in touch me - and shocker, I NEVER heard from anyone! This is by far the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I would suggest utilizing another furniture store, such as Belfort, which is also in the VA area, as we have always had positive experiences with them. While they could've made this right with us, this awful experience will lead us to NEVER give Ashley furniture another dime of our money and we will spread the word to everyone we know to ensure that they don't give them their business either! read more

He advised us products based on our needs not on his commission. We bought 2 sofas and a coffee table. It was delivered and the table is warped plus the recliner is giving us problems. Walked into the store this past Saturday, emailed them a picture of the problem while we were there. They promised someone in customer service would get back to us.....crickets....I just tried to call the Manassas store...crickets. You have to leave a voice mail message, you can't even speak to someone. Disappointed but not surprised. Poor customer service. We have a 1 year warranty. It may take them that long to get back to us. Not sure what recourse we are going to take now... 5/4 Update: I was contacted by the head of customer service. She was very responsive and listened to my concerns. She arranged for the table to be replaced and set up a time for them to come and examine the sofa love seat. I recently moved to Manassas and was looking for somewhere to buy a sofa. I read the reviews of several furniture places and they all seemed to be bad so I took a chance and went to Ashley's anyway because I saw a sofa on their website I really wanted. We were greeted upon entrance but pretty much left alone to browse. Only when the salesman saw us eyeing up one particular sofa did he come over and give us details. This is how I like to shop. No hovering, no hassling. We ended up looking around more and finding a great sectional. It cost much more but we were able to get a nice discount and they offered financing. The sale went quick and smooth, the delivery took about 3 weeks but the delivery guys were great! Overall I had a very good experience with this store and would shop their again. Ordered a bedroom set and a dining table back in May. We were told that the items would be in stock on June 9th and that someone would give us a call to set up a delivery time. June 9th comes around and we hear nothing; we waited a couple of days and decided to give them a call. Apparently the items won't actually be available until the end of June. We called to check on the status yesterday and were then told that the items we ordered are unavailable until July 23rd, almost three months after we purchased them! We purchased furniture from Ashley's because we were told everything would be available on our move in date. Now we're in our new house eating and sleeping on the floor. I understand that things are delayed because of COVID but three months in ridiculous. On top of that no one ever reached out to let us know that the items were delayed. Save yourself the frustration and just buy your furniture from Bob's. read more

RENT A CENTER IN DISGUISE!!!.......This place is a rip-off! First off, be certain if you are not paying cash up front. They disclose the fact they are actually the parent company of Rent-A-Center!! So, in essence you are renting your furniture from them!! Their "in house financing" is the exact same as Rent A Center. This means you are paying three to four times, if not more the worth of their furniture. Which already has something like a 300% markup (yes, I have done my homework) If you go past the 90 days same as cash "fly catcher" you will pay, and pay and pay. Their sales people are slick, their Rental Acceptance Center are like dogs with a bone, rude, overbearing and their collection practices border on harassment and they skate in thin ice as far as the legality of them. Below is an excerpt from 2013 TV Investigative report in Florida. This is just the one I chose to use, there area many similar stories out there from all over. "But Action 9 checked, RAC signs don't include the word rental. It's only in the application's fine print. Robin Shaffroth thought she purchased furniture from another big chain when she signed a RAC contract. "I had no idea it was a rental company. They never introduced themselves as such," said Shaffroth. Consumer groups claim full disclosure is a big deal since the equivalent interest rate to rent furniture can be 200 percent a year. "There's a lack of transparency if the consumer believes they're going to purchase furniture and they come out with a rental agreement," said Better Business Bureau President Judy Pepper. Rent-a-Center said its program helps folks who can't get credit, and the rental purchase agreement clearly spells out customers don't own property and it's a rental transaction. We purchased furniture and never had a delivery date set. We were never told about a non-return policy, and we were bullied into our purchase. After many, many attempts to handle this issue with management, we have still not reached a solution. All Ashley cares about it getting your sale and leaving you high and dry. They don't care about the quality of their furniture, your financial circumstances or their customer service. And don't buy them reaching out to people. None of these issues are solved, they do this to SEEM like they care. read more

Worst customer service ever. Couches were promised in a certain date range. They arrived late to the warehouse and then had 3 different delivery dates result in a no-show. Once the couches arrived, one needs to be fixed. The first technician appointment was a no-show and the 2nd is looking like no-show as well as he's scheduled for today and I've yet to hear from them. Everything about this store is a scam. I went there to buy a desk for my husband for Christmas on Black Friday. The salespeople follow you to the point of stalking while incessantly asking questions. But I stayed and entered the drawing for the $500 Gift Card and I WON! I was elated but then immediately disheartened. I was told I couldn't use the gift card for the desk because it was an advertised sale item?! They then provided me a list of exclusions under several different categories that I COULD NOT use the card on and told me I could only use it on items labeled "get more" which were essentially large sets of furniture. The manager was condescending and rude when I questioned why a gift card wouldn't be accepted same as cash toward anything in the store. He did not care!!! He tried to convince me the exclusions were in the fine print of the sales flyer. But it wasn't a coupon, it was a gift card and should not have limitations. Just like their pricing it was a scam. The prices never really change. They just change the name of the sale on the sign. How to you give someone a prize and then tell them they can't use it for what they came to purchase??? I just recently purchased a new bed from this store. Like any furniture store, they do follow you around a little. This is to be expected. But other than that, they had good looking furniture, checkout was easy enough, and we got the bed sooner than promised. I believe they said 2 weeks, we had it within 1 week. The delivery service was excellent. We had already gotten rid of the old bed, but they assembled the new bed and put my mattresses on. They were in and out in probably 20 minutes. Shopping on the Ashley site will yield better deals than being in the store. Of course, they strategically leave the least expensive items off the sales floor. When you walk in, someone usually greets you...and then 4 more sales reps repeat this, like guerrilla marketing hoping you'll pick them to buy from. Seems a bit unfair, not to have a sales "up" system so you don't greet someone and then 4 sales people later you end up with the last one by default. Makes me feel bad for the sales people, and it's also super annoying. Still, I've bought furniture here solely based on price, and had no issues at all. The back room of "misc" outlet stuff (a mix of broken, gently dinged, or itherwise undesirable items) may have a jewel or two, but it's like a furniture graveyard. Just be ready to be approached by half a dozen sales reps competing for your attention, and they will all keep eyes on you the whole way through the store. read more

I'll start by saying they got a star because I was required to give them at least 1 for my review... My husband and I were shopping for a comfortable rocker/recliner to put in the nursery for our newborn. We had looked at a few places prior to deciding to check out Ashley Furniture in Manassas, VA one Sunday afternoon. We walked in and were nicely greeted by a salesman who promptly showed us the recliners and then left us to browse through each at our leisure. We were happy with that - we've encountered sales people in other stores who are rather pushy. Upon finding the perfect chair, we decided to purchase it, complete with warranty. The salesman (I wish I remembered his name; I will forever remember every salesman's name from now on) promised us that we could have the chair delivered to us that Tuesday and even gave us the "mid-week" delivery fee eventhough we were requesting a Tuesday delivery. Apparently the mid-week discount is for Wednesdays and Thursdays only; they don't deliver on Mondays. At any rate, I took off Tuesday and waited. We were surprised when we didn't hear about a window on Monday... then nothing again on Tuesday... I called the store Tuesday afternoon to be told that the original salesman was "mistaken" in his promise to have it delivered on Tuesday because the piece was just ordered that week but it would absolutely be delivered the following Tuesday. We were bothered, but wanted to be fair... the following Tuesday, I took off... and waited. Deja Vu! I then spoke with a manager who indicated that the salesman lied and that all pieces are "made to order" and that our chair wouldn't be available for another 3 weeks as it was being made offsite. Wow! But because of the miscommunication and inconvenience, they'd waive the weekend delivery fee and deliver our chair on a Saturday and give us a $50 gift card. Mind you, our card was billed within 72 hours of our purchase. We paid for a chair that we did not yet own, and had no clue when we'd actually get it. We were contacted on a Tuesday about a week and a half before we were told it would be ready and was told that the chair would be delivered that Thursday. When we inquired about a Saturday delivery that we were promised, they said there was no record of that from the manager that we spoke with. Great... here we go again! So after calling the store, they were so kind as to honor the Saturday delivery, but we informed them that we had plans already for that weekend since we were anticipating a delivery of the following weekend. That's when we were informed that we'd have to pay a fee if we wanted to change the date... wait... so we were about a month from our original promised date, and now we're being told we'd have to pay a fee for changing a date to what we were promised 3 weeks before? Needless to say the furniture still hasn't arrived YET but it's now scheduled for delivery next Tuesday (today is Tuesday). I'm hoping that the delivery goes well and that the piece is as nice as it was a month ago. All of this trouble for a chair just doesn't seem worth it to me. I will NEVER shop at this store again. The customer service was friendly but being lied to to make a sale (which is the exactly phrase that the manager used!) and then being jerked around on dates for a month is unacceptable. We've ordered a lot of furniture over the years, this is a first! I've made it a point to tell everyone with an ear about this situation. I rarely ever write reviews for anything but this experience moved me to have to post about the store. Its a shame, we saw many other pieces that we'd like to purchase, but I will never step foot in that store again! read more

I will never again buy from Ashley's Home store. This was my first and last time I will ever make a purchase from Ashley's. They promised me that the Bedroom Set I was purchasing had 20% off. Instead to find out, they charged me full price for the 2 night stands. I went back to the store and complained and they did nothing. They said it did not qualify. They would not even allow me to return my night stands. My sale's person was Tina and she basically screwed me. I kept it cool and then they delivered my furniture. The Bed's back board had little down going bumps and the top part of the bed, the wood was rough. It was the same with the Dressing table. Funny thing, it was not on the night stand which I was charged full price. I talk to the delivery person and he informed me that someone would come and check the furniture. He told me to leave a note in the delivery. I did and yet Ashley's never called or sent anyone to check on it. My mirror to my dress table was back logged and then finally they delivered and again these weird bumps were on the furniture. The delivery told me the same, leave a comment and Ashley's would take care of it. I highly recommend not to buy from this place. Please double think before purchasing from here. read more

If you want overpriced crap furniture that breaks easily and doesn't function properly, then by all means, shop at Ashley furniture

Well, the day that we purchased OVER $11,000.00 in furniture, everyone was all over us. Even the managers were tripping over themselves to help us. Now, almost 3 weeks later, we only have HALF of our furniture.(half of a sectional sofa, no place to eat, no sitting room furniture, and missing 3 pieces of a $5,000 bedroom suite). I have not received one single call from Ashley about the deliveries and was even promised an email detailing arrivals and deliveries, which I never received. I have had to call them every time. Last week, I called again to see when the rest of my furniture would arrive. They said that it would arrive on Tuesday of this week (today is Friday) and that I would get a call about delivery. Finally, on Wednesday afternoon, again, I had to call them. I was told that they could deliver the NEXT WEEK, anytime between Tuesday and Friday. SERIOUSLY? I was not happy but scheduled Tuesday delivery. I called back later to speak to the manager but was told that he was busy with a customer but that, even though I may not get a call back in 10 minutes, he would call me before closing. That was Wednesday, today is Friday. I AM ONE VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER who spent a lot of money in that store. Value City Furniture was much more efficient at delivery of our entertainment center. Just for the record. And...to Ashley Customer Service, please don't post your "generic" reply that you have left on other negative customer reviews. That is just not sufficient. Worst decision of my life to shop here! The salesman was brand new and completely useless. Which wasn't an issue because the manager took over. The manager went back and forth haggling with me until we decided on a price. When i went to register to pay, the cashier checked the price of the chairs on line and they were 1/2 the price the manager said was "as low as I can go". They told me shipping would take 2 weeks. 5 weeks later after 3 visits to the store(a manager never bothered to talk to me) I got them. NEVER once did anyone call and apologize. I asked for the DMs' phone number and they gave me a fake number. I'm just glad this is over so I never have to set foot in that place again. FYI, this experience as motivated me to create a Yelp account. I never complain about stuff, but when people lie and just down right don't care...Then i have an issue.
