Furniture arrived as scheduled Some was wrapped in plastic some was not which lead me to believe it was old/ from the show room. My accessory were left on the floor in the box. I opened them and one was broke, the store did not replace it. In July, 9 months after I made a claim on a sofa(paying $40 a month for insurance). I have not received both parts. I was told to wait, it is now October!!! Still no parts and no service to put the part on. Today my balance increased by $733, after calling I was told it was interest for the pst 12 months. 29.99% interest!!! Plus I was charged interest on the insurance I am paying!!! read more

The Wife and I just finished a remodel of our home and she wanted new furniture. We loaded up the family and picked out a huge sectional, two chairs and a coffee table the has two lids that Fold up for storage. " The table lid started warping in the first couple of weeks. The warp was 2 1/2 inches on the corners. We called and they sent out a guy to access the situation. Guy was nice and informative. He told me he recommended new tops and had them ordered. Couple of months go by and they are delivered and a worker comes and installed them. But they were also warped as well. Guy said they would order new ones and got a call saying there is nothing else they are going to do to fix the problem. Even though it's under warranty they are not going to fix a flawed piece of furniture and we are stuck with it. That's there words. read more

The WORST experience I have ever had at a business!! From the dishonest salesmen to the shady managers! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! It all started with the salesman who lied about the price of the sectional we wanted (said it was 1399 when online it was 899) and said "for $100 more you can get the whole living set!". We ended up doing it and noticed they had an extra $150 for premium shipping and we asked if they had free shipping & the salesman James said no! As we went over all of our paperwork after we paid James drew the WRONG ORIENTATION of the couch! We said we needed the chase on the opposite side & to double check to make sure he ordered the right one and just drew it wrong. He said he did check with a manager before we left. So we get home and I look up the couch to send a picture to my mom & saw that the couch was 899 & all over the website it says that they "price match"! On top of that, they offer FREE threshold delivery! So why were we told no? The next day we go back to cancel everything but the sectional. We also DOUBLE CHECK the right orientation was ordered because we WERE NOT confident in this salesman. A manager looked at it and said it was ordered correctly & we should get a refund in 3 days. After 2 weeks of waiting for a refund one of the customer service representatives says "oh our billing is closed right now because of COVID so you won't get a refund until we open again". HOW ARE THEY OPEN WITHOUT A BILLING DEPARTMENT?! So my husband calls his credit card company & is able to get it refunded. Delivery day comes & guess what.. ITS THE WRONG ORIENTATION OF THE COUCH!! We weren't home so my sister had to let the delivery guys in. She notices it's the wrong one & tells the delivery guy to take it back to which he said that we'd be charged 20% of the sales price for a restocking fee!! WE WERE NOT PAYING FOR THEIR MISTAKE! My husband and I then go into the store to get them to deliver the correct one and are told that they emailed the warehouse and are waiting to hear back. 2 more weeks go by and we're getting the same answer! We call & their number is disconnected! How is it that the day we purchased the couch we got a shipping date, but now they can't even get ahold of their warehouse?! When we go talk to the manager again for answers he says that we "were the ones that make the change, the couch was ordered correctly"... I'm sorry, WHAT?! Did we log into the computer & make the note? NO! All we asked was to double check the correct one was ordered! So we leave with no answers again, go to another furniture store & see the same couch we bought! This store sells Ashley Furniture products & the salesman there says that this couch is on backorder & is out of stock & will take 2 MONTHS to be delivered no matter what store you order from! HOW DO WE GET ANSWERS ABOUT AN ASHLEY COUCH FROM A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FURNITURE STORE?! My husband and I are done with them at this point & go back to the store to cancel it all completely and are now told that we will not be getting a refund and can not return the couch since we signed the delivery paper!!!! We talked to the manager Eric & he said the fault was completely on the delivery guy but now we're talking to the store manager Carlos & he says this?! HORRIBLE SERVICE BY GREEDY MEN! This is NOT how you run a business! I will be leaving bad reviews EVERYWHERE & will take them to small claims court if we do not receive our refund!! read more

I bought an expensive therapeutic mattress and the woman helping me her name was Maria A told me the mattress cover was cotton and I should purchase it. When everything arrived home the mattress cover was 100% polyester not cotton like she said. Came to return and they don't want to give me my money back because there are no refunds. I'll give one star because I have too. Our whole experience sucked. We should have listened to our families advice and avoided Ashley's. We went 5/26/22 to order a bed for our son. When we arrived we had to hunt down a sales person to help us because everyone was sitting around on their phones just hanging out. Finally someone asked Mathew to come help us out. Matthew was very nice and it was a quick transaction and we were told we would get our bed 6/7/22. Which was perfect because that was our move in date to our new place. Well 6/7/22 came around and no word. So by 7:30 that night I was calling to see where the bed was. Turns out the 6/7 date wasn't the delivery date, it was the shipping date which come to find out.. it didn't ship that day. So we waited. 6/21/22 no word on the bed so we decided to go into Ashley's and cancel the order. They took 100 off and said we would receive it in 7 business days. Todays 6/28/22.. we called again and it hasn't shipped yet again! And when it does ship.. it goes to the warehouse here in bakersfied and then I guess ships again to our actual place Soo even longer. We cancelled the order and ordered a new bed from target that will be here in a couple days. Save yourself the time & wasted energy. read more

Recently bought a very expensive Purple mattress. Online there is a 100-day trial with full return if not satisfied. I specifically asked my salesperson if it was returnable to Ashley, and was told yes. The mattress unfortunately did not work for me. I tried to return it, and NO RETURNS, period. First of all, I could have even MORE EASILY ordered it online, where I would have had a guaranteed trial, plus FREE delivery (not the case with Ashley). I wanted to support my local business. I paid MORE for it at my local store than it would have cost me online. It makes no sense to support a local store if it means great financial risk. Ashley will not get my future business. So much for customer service. read more

I bought a dinning room table and all 6 chairs , with a bedroom set. One chair the leg broke off. One the bed the side rail broke off. I did buy the warranty but neither Ashely's or the warranty company will honor it. Talk about crappy customer service and cheap crappy furniture. I don't recommend buying here. Christine needs to find another job. We all have bad days however she was flat out rude and completely walked away from my parents whe went to the store to purchase a love seat instead of online. Christine told them a higher price than online, said they had to pay for shipping (online says it is free), and said they HAD to purchase a warranty with the furniture - for an additional price of course. When my Dad called her out on it she flat out walked away. They took their business elsewhere. Corporate management needs to step in quickly based on other recent reviews I'm reading! read more

Just a word of advice. Much of the furniture at Ashley home store should be THOROUGHLY inspected before signing off upon delivery. Our delivery person did not review the functioning of our sofa and chairs and did not insure that it was functioning before leaving. YOU MUST DO THIS YOURSELF - review all functions with the delivery person before you sign off. It is likely that something will not work properly - for us, one of the chairs we bought would not recline - OH YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK, too bad "you signed off on the delivery." I expected that since we called the store immediately after we discovered the problem (may 10 minutes after the delivery), we might get a replacement that works. NOPE. Just be aware. read more
