Worst customer service ever!!. If I could give Zero stars, I would! 1. Ordered two night stands to be delivered to my daughter's new home on March 20, 2021. Upon ordering, I informed sales rep. that she misspelled street name and she said she would correct it in the computer (she didn't). 2. 4/2/2021 - Received notice items to be direct shipped 4/2/21. 3. Night stands never arrived though store said they had been delivered. Went to store three more times and each time was told (1) that we would have to contact the shipping company since their records showed the night stands were delivered (albeit to the wrong address); (2) We would have to contact their corporate office for a refund and, finally (3) They would process the refund at the local store and we would receive the refund within 7 days (we didn't.). Mind you, this Ashley store is 100 miles from our house and we only went there because it was close to my daughter's house where the night stands were to be delivered as a housewarming gift . Finally, after sending a registered letter to the store with copies to their corporate headquarters that we were going to take them to Small Claims Court, we received a call from the store manager that a refund would be processed within 3-5 days (it was.). This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The customer service personnel are incompetent, the communication is horrible and management doesn't have a clue! read more

My wife and I were in the market for a new bedroom set and visited a few popular furniture stores in town. Ashley won our business with ease. It started with a warm welcome and non pushy approach from sales consultant, Joshua Foote. Joshua went over various products and pricing. He addressed concerns and went over pricing and finance options. We then met his manager Daniel, who was just as amazing. I got the best deal out of all competitors. These two men went above and beyond. It's also worth to mention that as we walked around the showroom floor everyone was professional and courteous. Best furniture store in town! read more

No stars they are horrible and when my family and I ordered a sleeper which is a couch that has a pull out bed we had it for 3 days and it broke and it warped broke and we asked for a new part and Ashley's said " oh yeah sure we'll send a new part within 7 days " and they didn't even send anything. I'm pissed my family and I won't have anywhere to sit the Ashely's furniture stores service is horrid. read more

Buyer beware! This store is a major rip-off. I went into the store for some furniture I needed. I purchased a sectional sleeper, ottoman, recliner, dining room set, an area rug and lamp. I paid for all of the furniture on my credit card. I was told my delivery would be that week on Friday. Friday rolls around and I get a text saying, part of my order was on back order and they wouldn't be delivering the furniture until the next Friday. No one said anything about a back order; in fact I was told everything I bought was in stock. Since no one even called to tell me this information, I called and cancelled the whole order. It is now going into 2 weeks and there has been no credit to my credit card. If you don't mind being lied to or a company sitting on your money for weeks, then this would be a store for you. If not, don't waste your time and money at this store and go elsewhere! read more

We purchased a sofa and loveseat in February. When it was delivered we didn't sit on the sofas for a week or two because we were out of state. When we finally sat on them they made a sound like the wood was cracking. This was on both sofas. We also purchased an extended warranty. We reported the claim. An inspector came out to inspect the sofa & said it was a ribbon that needed to be replaced. The parts were shipped to us and the following weekend the inspector came back to fix the problem. However, the inspector said the company didn't send the clips which was needed to fix the sofa. He reported it. At this point we are turned off by the fact that we spent a lot of money on brand new furniture that came with issues. We went to the store to speak to a manager who was really rude. We expressed that we'd like a brand new set of furniture and he said no. I said, ok then we will return them for a full refund and go to a different store. I explained to him how unfair this is to us not to add having the extended warranty was no help. He claims the extended warranty is a courtesy. How can it be a courtesy when we paid for the warranty? He became very angry & was speaking to me with an aggressive, loud tone. I told him that we'd have to go to court & he laughed saying you can't take us to court over furniture. We left the store upset & feeling disappointed. The furniture was not cheap; it was expensive & now we are stuck with squeaky furniture. It's embarrassing & poor service on their part. I would not recommend this place to anyone! read more

I so wished that yelp could come up with a way of rating sales person versus the overall experience. Our experience with Marisa was 5 stars!! She promptly greeted us was a warm smile and asked us what we were looking for and pointed us in the correct direction. She didn't hoover like a vulture and when we had questions we found her. Now for what could easily close the doors!!!! We ended up buying a bedroom set for about old $3500. At first we decided to for go the $300 extra dollars for them to sent up the set. After Marisa explained what they would do and then more so what could easily end up being g our word against theirs on any damage to the furniture after they dropped it at the curb. When we got home I decided to come back a purchase the delivery with install to make sure if there was an issue we would be covered. Now COVID has really slow things down and we were not in a huge hurry to get our furniture so the 8 weeks it has take to get some of the items wasn't a big deal. They have an automated system that will text you with a date and range in time for a delivery. We finally received a text and time which happened to be a Sunday which for us working was great however we really didn't want to stay all day. So when the later time came we waited another hour and still nothing. SO we called which no one answers the phone except a voice mail which tells you they will return your call 1 to 2 business days later. So instead of waiting I went up there to speak to Marisa to find out why we haven't received the furniture. She stated that they do not deliver on Sundays and that it is weird that we would receive a text with that day which I showed her the text. SO needed to speak with the manager to find out when we would receive the product which he stated another 2 weeks. He was absolutely zero help and didn't care about getting us our furniture nor answering why we received text with the date. I asked him did he wonder why their ratings on YELP were so low and he rolled his eyes and walked away. So finally 2 seeks later we received our furniture well almost all of our furniture. When the truck arrived the delivery person stated this was a threshold delivery. I explained it wasn't it was an install which we went back a forth several times until he finally called and yes it was an install. The order was missing the headboard and rails. Which for a bed you can't just use the foot board. There was also some minor issues with the dresser and nightstand. Nothing major but still for some that costed $3500 it shouldn't be broken and scratched. 2 weeks later the headboard and rails finally showed up. This time what was supposed to be delivered between 11-3 the driver showed up at 9:30am. Of course we were not at home and the driver was extremely rude to my wife on the phone and stated that his orders are for threshold delivery not install and he refused to call his dispatch to find out that we paid for setup. So my wife got all of that straighten out and I got home to receive the delivery at 11:00. His tone with me was totally different than what it was with my wife. So they unloaded the boxes and the side rail and headboard were both broken!!!!! Now we have to wait again to have for another delivery of hopefully a headboard and rails that are not broken!!! After this HORRIBLE experience with Ashley's delivery service and customer service after the purchase we will choose to go to a different business Ashley Corporate needs to really take a look at their customer service outside the store!!!!!!!! read more

We have come to Ashley furniture in the past and we have never had any problems at this location. The furniture is sturdy and the prices are great. We recently went in to purchase a dining room table and we were able to find a table me that same day! Our store representative was Marvin. If you go to Ashley furniture in Rosedale Hwy in Bakersfield, CA, go in and ask for Marvin. Super helpful. Let us know all details about every piece of furniture we looked at it, gave us pricing on what we would be spending, gave us space when my husband and I were discussing the purchase, and did not try to push a sale or make us feel awkward for taking our time on our decision. Which we very much appreciated. Very grateful we were able to work with Marvin and will be asking for him on our next purchase at Ashley! Thanks Marvin!!
