Terrible service. When I walked in, a lady was there and said they were still honoring Black Friday sale discounts. I walked around to see if I found what I was looking for. Once I found something I went to the lady and let her know I was ready to start the process. I got approved and when she was writing down the bill of sale, she did not include the discount she had mentioned. And on top of that I was getting charged $269 for delivery when she had also mentioned, it would be free. When I brought it up, she said delivery is not free for this purchase, but would discount $100 for the black Friday sale. but when she tried to do the $100 off, they were having difficulty and her and three other ladies there we're going back-and-forth trying to figure out how to do the discount. It all seemed very unprofessional. As this should've been done before hand. It just seemed like they were hoping I didn't notice that I didn't receive the discount. I then asked them to cancel everything because at this point, I didn't feel comfortable following through with the sale. The next day I went to furniture land and it was like night and day. They helped me so much at furniture land I will never be coming back to Ashley furniture again read more

They only have good customer service when you are there to purchase. Once the purchase is complete and you need help, customer service is out the window and you're a nobody. And don't even try calling them on the phone thinking you're going to be able to talk to someone - You'll have a stroke before someone comes on the line to see what you need. We bought a lift recliner for our dad. Our sales associate was Israel Monroy. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful making the purchase very easy. Cruz Cruz was the manager and he also help in finalizing the purchase. The reason for the 4 stars is the high delivery fee of $99.00! 5 minutes ago Sales seem to be quick to make a lot of promises, but very slow in resolving issues. From missing delivery appointments without notice, to denying refunding overage charges. We realized the brand new couch we finally received had a rip in the back. It has taken almost two months to get anybody to acknowledge the claims and to no surprise, the claim to replace a brand new couch delivered with a rip, was denied. It seems the only time i can get anything resolved, is by driving across town and walking in until somebody will answer my questions face to face. Never accept partial deliveries from Ashley's, no matter what they promise. Great customer service, heard all our requests and didn't push us to buy something we didn't want or force other items on us. (Unlike his coworker who was bilingual - don't know his name nor interested as he was to much of a pushover) Markus is very nice and humble! I definitely will return and request him to help me at all times. We did have one of his coworkers be a know it all and try to overshadow him but that flopped. Markus is great! We let him know we were uncomfortable with his coworker being a push over and trying to make us buy things he "thought" were "ok" for us. Just bought couches from Eshan and it was the fastest easiest thing ever. I've never been able to get furniture that fast and smooth. People usually make you look at furniture forever. But my husband and I knew exactly what we wanted when we entered and Eshan was able to get us out of there quickly which was awesome because our 1 year old was with us and was so ready to leave. The price was reasonable as well; cheaper than I had anticipated, which was a bonus of course. We'll see how delivery goes! read more

My husband,k I purchased a loveseat and couch recliner set. I had Ashley's out twice after probably talking to the store and the manager numerous times about the leather on my recliner, making so much noise that when you tried to put it down or set it up you couldn't even hear the TV. It's only one of the recliners that is doing this the other work perfectly fine we've only owned this a year. They sent a man out twice. First time he came out. He told me to grab my downy dryer sheets and rub both sides of my chair in and out in it would fix the problem. Well that worked for about two days. Came back again and told me to buy some product on Amazon , a leather cream and just rub it on and not to be so particular he told me. It is very annoying the amount of noise this recliner is making and after you pay so much money for this it should not be doing this nor should I have to every two or three days rub it down with conditioner in order to be able to Deal with the noise it's making. We are very annoyed with this problem. Now we are into our extended warranty and they have sent a man out and he put some different cream on this. Hopefully it's going to work. If not, not sure what we're going to do we would like to go buy some more stuff from Ashley's but there is no way I'm going to buy anything from the store, after dealing with this problem, we have bought many things from Ashley's and never ever experienced anything like this. I don't recommend their extended warranty. I purchased my sectional back in September 2017 and was told if I purchased a warranty and it wasn't used in the 5 years I would get a gift card for the value. Well, 5 years later the store denies offering that and Ashley headquarters says it's not a corporate problem but the store itself. The warranty also has so many exclusions it isn't worth it anyway. read more

I purchased a dining room set from Ashley furniture, the furniture store advised that they would be delivering the purchased item on a prearranged date. I took the day off from work to accept the purchased furniture. The delivery personnel arrived and I could see through my window that the delivery personnel were rushing to unload the furniture. As they brought it the items, they were in such a rush that they dropped and damaged the table. I realize that accidents happen. I contacted the furniture store and they were totally unprofessional. The delivery personnel left in such a hurry that they didn't even cleanup the mess they caused. I will never purchase furniture from this store again. read more

Peter is the reason for my review and 5 stars. He has been amazing, extremely customer oriented. It's very hard to come across people like this. He is definitely a gem to Ashley furniture. If it weren't for him, my experience would have been completely different. The department that answers the phones is a whole other story. I had a terrible experience with that department. They tell you one thing and then tell you something else later and not friendly at all. They also tried to cancel my delivery because 3 days before my expected delivery I didn't answer my phone (I was at work in the middle of seeing patients). They left a voicemail saying they are changing the delivery date due to me not confirming. This was the ONLY time they contacted me. And I called them less than 1 hour later when I had some minutes to spare. I can't believe they don't give you more than one chance to confirm. It's terrible practice! We are moving to a new home and purchased all new furniture. We did this a month in advance to give everyone plenty of time. All items were in stock and we were promised a delivery date that continued to get pushed forward by Ashley. Today was the day everything was supposed to arrive and we didn't get any phone call to set up the delivery window. This concerned us so we reached out to them and sure enough now everything is on backorder for another month. This is completely unacceptable! Now during the holidays (with two small children), we will have no bed to sleep on or even table to eat on. The manager is absolutely useless. All they can say is they will keep checking with the warehouse. I have never seen such incompetence. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. read more
