Dr. Bunchean usually stays in the office & sees the patients while Dr. Shih does rounds in the hospital. Their office gets pretty busy. Especially afternoon & on Saturday. On Wednesday & Saturday, they are only open from 9 AM -12 PM (Holidays including Chinese New Years have different schedules). Make sure to call to double check. They accept most insurance, medical, & of course cash. Dr. Bunchean is a pretty nice Dr. He listens to what you have to say. He doesn't rush you. He's on top of school forms, notes, & vaccinations needed to be updated. The only problem I see is that they are too focused on insurance & how much they will get paid. HMO Insurance is frowned upon because he states that they don't get paid so therefore, they don't want to see your child/children more than once a month (even if they are sick). They will tell you that they are full & turn you away. The office staffs are nice. They have Spanish speaking staffs to help you & of course they Speak Mandarin & Cantonese. Unfortunately, they don't have anyone speaking Vietnamese. Parking is in the back & also side streets. The office is fairly easy to locate. There was only 1 lady working the lobby with the waiting room. The actual MRI is located outside in a trailer at the side of the medical center closest to the ER parking lot. The MRI tech and the student interning there were helpful, answered questions, and explained every part of the process. There's a curtain to change if you need to. It took around 20 minutes for the procedure. Have never had an MRI until now and it felt like I was in a tube subjecting me to alien sounds and error pop ups on a PC, but overall fine. They give you a CD disc with your scans on it as well as send it to the medical professional that referred you to their services. Not a bad experience overall.

They made sure to give me a call after Labor Day to ensure my referral would be sent, the called me right away with my approval and have been so accommodating with my work schedule. One guy had a 11:30 appt and it's 2pm and he's still waiting. Another lady was here for a 12pm appt and she is waiting too. No one had a chance to have lunch. The older gentleman finally gets in at 3. And we finally get sent off to another location to do some paperwork and to come back. We come back at 4:15 and no one is in the waiting room yet we wait. 5pm nothing. 6pm and we have yet to see the doctor. This is totally ridiculous. I mean I had waits for an hour sometimes even two but 4 hours and counting? Seriously what the hell!?! The front desk staff just chat away and eat in front of us who are starving. And finally that I can't stand it and I complain about the wait they say oh the doctor had a few emergencies to deal with sorry no one told you. And that's it. I wait more. I finally say I am leaving and I'm going to file a complaint and that's when I got into the actual room to wait for the doctor. Another 30min later the doctor comes in and I am out 25 minutes later. And all her questions were exactly the same as the previous doctors so it was an utter waste of time. Plus the doc says I have to come back again to see her before the surgery for the same thing. OmG why couldn't I do this then? What the hell. My biggest issue here is that I was not informed of any options to see the doctor or go out and come back later or anything! Seriously stupid waste of time. Also the front desk staff were so rude and unapologetic. The doctor even had to say something to them.

All the staff however are very courteous and attentive. I am grateful for the quick, convenient, and warm hearted service I received from this clinic during a time of need. The staff also wears gloves when handling bodily fluids or when touching patients. There are some hand sanitizers available for patients to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are sanitizing in between patients. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is behind the building and it is very small. The lot does get full quickly, so you may have to find some street parking, but that shouldn't be an issue. Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, tidy, small, and organized. They recently moved to a new location, and I love everything except the parking lot because it's so small. A nice upgrade in office space. Yay! Staff: The staff here are very friendly, kind, warm, welcoming, and helpful. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum. And dare I say it was a very pleasant visit to Dr. Jen's office for the most part... compared to other doctor visits I've been to, going to Dr. Jen definitely won't be daunting compared to others I've been to. My first impression of the place was already a good start, with a very friendly staff and I appreciate that this place seems to keep things in order where I seemed to be the only patient in the office at the time (which is great for the pandemic situation). Dr. Jen was very thorough in my check-up and I specifically came here to also get a pap smear all at once. Very professional throughout, including his female staff member. The pap smear wasn't all that bad (granted my body wasn't cooperating for part of it but that's not his fault) and he made sure I was comfortable the whole time too. Logistics-wise, it was about 3 months out from when I made my appointment call, but I was ok with it since I didn't have an urgent reason. Office itself is in a good location. It's on the 3rd floor and you can find the entrance to the elevators next to the pharmacy. Bonus for the lab being downstairs if you need to get your blood drawn in the future after the doctor's visit, so it's nice that everything you need is in one location. There's free parking around the building and I didn't have trouble snagging a spot on a Friday afternoon.
