Stopped by Ashlawn Coffee and picked up one of their frozen coffee drinks. It was refreshing, and exactly what I was looking for. The shop was very busy when we visited, which is always a good sign, but the staff kept things moving and the atmosphere was lively. Overall, a great stop for coffee, and I'd happily come back to try more of their menu.

This place is awesome! make sure you get here early, because people line up out the door! The cute little gifts at the door and the coffee beans are fun to shop while you are waiting in line. When i got to the counter, i saw they had an assortment of baked goods. I just stuck with coffee. I had an iced latte with maple cold foam. That coffee was STRONG. It was delicious, smooth, and the perfect amount of sweetnesss. I loved that there was a huge assortment of places to list too.

I love stopping in when in the area! Their cold brew is sooooo good and they constantly have seasonal drink options. Even when the line is long they move quickly so you are never waiting too long. If you are just popping in for a coffee they do have a separate line to speed things up.

A lovely little coffee shop. Parking very easy in the lot. Came here after a run and it was a lovely little treat. The inside is very cozy with a decent amount of seating and was able to hang out inside for a little. Workers were nice with quick service. I ordered a hot chocolate and a chocolate croissant. The croissant was good but not as flakey as a regular croissant. Prices okay around $10 for both. Overall really nice and would come back!

#26 in my NEW ENGLAND & NY COFFEE SHOP SERIES Cute, cozy cafe! Every time I come on Yelp, I always see this place as one of the top promoted ones. I finally decided to stop in on a Monday afternoon after clinical. They have roughly 8 tables, small bar seating, and a little couch area for people to converse, study, or work. They also have an area to buy coffee maker item, merch, and coffee beans. Great outdoor seating as well as friendly service. Nothing too standoutish, just good. For my drink, I got the seasonal cherry mocha. It was good, but very subtle on the cherry, mocha, and espresso. Overall, I would not get the drink again, probably try something else. I would come here again to study but only if I was in the area. I would not go out of my way to come here.

Touring through CT and ended up at Ashlawn looking for some coffee. This is a neat spot. Cozy location, with coffee, pastry, and souvenir like items. Got a good latte to continue our journey, and a nice CT Home cup to remember this little outing. Stop by when you're in the area and leave with the same good experience we did.

This is the coziest coffee shop I've ever been to! We stopped on our way to Rhode Island & it was packed, the line was to the door. But it gave you time to admire the shop & decide on what items you're interested in. This place gave me log cabin vibes in the best way. We ordered two bacon egg & cheeses on a croissant as well as Joel's breakfast latte & an iced vanilla latte. It came out relatively quick despite how busy this place was. The food was good & the drinks were amazing! Very excited to come back!

Needed a pick me up coffee , and stop by this coffee shop as it had good reviews ! The inside was clean and spacious , the bathroom was clean! The lady took our orders she was very nice and friendly ! I got an ice chai latte ; it was around $5 which seemed fair . They definitely put a lot of ice in though which I hate but it is what it is unfortunately. They do have baked goods and a variety of drinks ! Definitely a cute coffee shop !

The vibeeeee? Gorgeous. I would totally come here and do some laptop work or homework. Is it so perfect. And these drinks were so delicious. We also got a cannoli type of cookie which we ate before we got a picture of it. But wow!!! Delicious. And the girl taking out order was so kind, patient, and good with her recommendations

Anytime you are in Old Saybrook, Ashlawn Farm Coffee is the best option for a good cup of coffee, quick breakfast or treat. It's located in the plaza with the train station. The cafe is normally busy, but always cozy and friendly. They have a lot of drink options--using their freshly roasted coffee that you can purchase bags to bring home. From frappes, lattes, to cappuccinos, they are using the best coffee. For the tea lovers, I highly recommend their Chai Tea Latte or Dirty Chai. That is my usual order, but today I tried a few of their seasonal specials: Charcoal Frappe and Toasted Marshmallow Latte. The Charcoal Frappe was delicious as it was mixed with flavors of cocoa and coconut. The Toasted Marshmallow Latte tasted like a warm s'mores with graham cracker on top. I also got a tasty Tomato, Cheddar and Chive Quiche. It was eggy, cheesy and the tomato made it so good. The crust was perfectly flaky. Bought a Apple Pie Scone for home that was covered with caramel. I always enjoy coming to Ashlawn Farms Coffee. It's a grab place to meet with a friend, cozy up with a book or work remotely.

Maple Berry Latte

Coffee shop has a bunch of fun seasonal lattes and syrups if you're a sweet coffee fan like myself!! I tried the maple berry latte in the summer when I was there and loved it. Also their apple fritter was delicious and their cinnamon roll is solid too!

Lavender iced mocha
Rozet S.

One of my new favorite coffee spots! It was pretty busy on a Tuesday morning but service was wonderful. I ordered the iced lavender mocha which was so yummy! I also got the Asiago bagel with the chive cream cheese. Overall, very affordable for a coffee spot! Lots of seating inside, and even a toy area for kids.

Menu

Went with a friend and parking lot is huge. There are other business right in the plaza but we were easily able to find parking right in front of the shop. They had outdoor seating and a line out the door! as soon as you walk in there is coffee sold in bulk / shirts / merchandise like custom cups. The bacon egg and cheese was great. The maple berry latte turned blue instantly but it was a good coffee. Love their ice.

No matter, we were there before 11AM so we were served breakfast. The server we had was excellent she was a former employee of the Coffee Break which was the old restaurant in this location. The place is LOUD. The decor is new and refreshed. There is NO WHEEL CHAIR ACCESS (which surprised me as they just renovated the place. One would think the Town of Clinton would have required it.) I had the Breakfast Wrap with sausage and american cheese. It was good and filling. $7.00 (in May 2026) My companion had the Quinoa Omelette pictured 1/2 eaten ($14.75 in May 2026) which was good. The home fries had a little too much salt but were otherwise excellent. Personally when there is salt actually on the table, I always wonder why the cook just lightly dusts with salt as I can add more. We also ordered a fresh fruit cup which had grapes purple and green, strawberries, and a few hard pieces of honey dew melon. $6.50 (May 2026) In May 2026 the hours are 0700-1430 MON - SAT 0700-1200 SUN ****WARNING**** They stop servicing breakfast items at 11AM They do take credit cards BUT... Looking at the surrounding landscape it probably would have been nicer to dinner in the summer so we could sit outside and enjoy the view while eating our breakfast or lunch. It was fall so it was more seating inside with settling for the bite out the window. The atmosphere within the restaurant was relaxed and nice. At times it did get a little loud with a group talking but other than that we were able to enjoy our breakfast together. We had already looked at the menu online so we knew what we wanted, The Hangry Cure, which was two eggs, two bacon, two sausages, home fries and choice of French toast or pancakes. We opted for one of each so we could share and taste the others. Love that the portions seemed right on the spot. Some places they give you too much. French Toast was large and fluffy like they used Texas Toast. But it did seem a little undone. Probably could have been cooked a little longer. Pancakes were nice and round but hard to cut and a little chewy. Iv think these were cooked a little too much. Eggs and everything else was great though. We did have to wait a little bit to get our credit card taken. Actually took us getting the servers attention to come get it. The place has slowed down so not sure why we were forgotten, probably giving us more time to socialize at the table. I think next time we will stop in for lunch to check that out.

Fantastic Caffé…read moreMarche* has been reborn and offers a genuine Italian experience. The signature espresso is otherworldly- it is simply the best I've ever had and is made from a special machine brought over from Italy (one of only a few in the entire U.S). The prosciutto wrapped around melon comes with a lovely bottle of balsamic vinaigrette which proves to be a match made in heaven. For many the highlight at Caffé Marche will be the gelato. This may sound too good to be true, but it prove to be the best you've ever had! Spectacular Italian flavors that you won't see anywhere else. As an example the pistachio genuinely tastes like pistachio (it sounds silly to say, but the flavor is exquisite). I really hope this place takes off. The new owner has put together something special and I couldn't recommend it more highly. 5/5 *Caffé Marche is the new name, but it is still has the old James Farmacy sign outside, and as you see on yelp, is still identified as such.
