I was mindful of how small this location was and found myself on the outskirts of the lot. This allowed for me to see that, even though it is a small, they utilized the lot size the best they could. It really worked and the flow of traffic in and out was constant. Inside, on the small side as well, works. They got the highlights of a normal sized Sheetz store, but it was somewhat select, as each section appeared to have the best of the best to offer.

This is a nice place. I understand why they have electric order kiosks, but I still don't like them. Sure it allows them to be able to hire less staff. I asked around and found this was the old school car wash where you can do it yourself. Funny I didn't realize how many people still go to self serve car washes because it was packed! There was about 4-5 lanes and you have to get tokens to operate the wands. The machine takes cash and credit card. The tokens are $1 each and gives you a certain amount of time. So the more time you need, the more tokens you should purchase. I say, come with patience because as I said this place was crowded and depending on who's in front of you, your wait time will vary. I got out the car while I was waiting to get my tokens before it was my turn but I did see a guy pull in to the bay and then go get his tokens. The guy I was behind started busting out his buffering tools and wax so I waited quite a bit for him to finish! But he did add a couple tokens when he left and told me to pull in! I will come back like on a Tuesday morning.

I can't do much about it since it's already done and paid for but please be vigilant when doing business with "Honest" Tom's. Some general good practice - make sure to ask for an itemized quote ahead of time before saying Ok to everything they claim your car needs repairs on without showing you. Also make sure to take pictures of your car (and preferably the parts) before and after they claim they fixed what needed repairs. And as always (to avoid ending up in my situation), get a 2nd opinion from another auto shop or look up the average cost of their claimed repairs online for the DMV area and find out what they charge you is unacceptable. I even got the Inspector General of Virginia involved after you thumbed your nose at the Better Business Bureau. This was after you originally told me you could fix it the AC. The engine work was done fine. I had to return it once for the engine work but you did fix that problem. But you shouldn't have taken in the AC work if you didn't know what you were doing or at least refunded the money I paid for the AC work. You want me to remove my negative response, return the $800+ money you charged me fir the AC replacement that never worked.
