Self Wash Review: I…read morewent on a Monday at noon and two dogs walked in right before me and mine. The check-in assistant told me that it might be a long wait and maybe I could walk my dog while we waited. Unfortunately as a basic human being I cannot control when a person decides to wash their giant long hair schnauzer 3 seconds before me. So I inquired about reservations and returned the following morning. They were ready and waiting for us! Everything was as clean as it could be. I don't understand the negative reviews about cleanliness, how do dog salons stay fricken clean? The tub was clean, the shampoo and conditioner bottles were labeled and freshly filled. Aprons were nice and not dingey. The selection of brushes and combs was magical! I've been wanting to try a deshedder brush! I loved this place and my boy is so fresh and so clean! We will be back!! Worth the $30!!! If they had a spend $150 and get a free wash or a self wash punch card that would be nice too! Lastly, the staff were friendly. Idk how much the negative reviewers want staff to talk but I don't want to have a conversation while trying to clean my dog and get on with my day! If you are looking for conversation, Edmonds off leash dog park is 0.1 miles away.

They made drop-off so easy. They were all so kind and made me feel comfortable about leaving Nugget with them. Upon picking her up, it was seriously like I was picking up a new dog! She literally looks like she shed 10 lbs of coat. They gave her a cute bandana and everything! I'm so glad they made her first grooming experience positive because we've already talked about getting her regularly groomed here! P.S. they gave her the cutest peach butt trim! I'm obsessed!!

Kristy called me the owner and gave me all the information I needed and explain what's going on. Since this was the first time my dog ever experienced this I had no idea what to do and she guide me through all the steps. just amazing customer service. I will definitely be back dad to leave my other groomers but I must return to kristi! Plus, my haircut was amazing. My puppies look so cute. Well, this is not the review I expected to be writing, but I'm really disappointed. And will be…read moresharing my experience with others. This was our first visit after switching from a place in Snohomish for convenience. I called to schedule a grooming appointment, but somewhere along the way there was clearly a miscommunication, because when I picked up my dog, he had only received a bath and brush. (And ear cleaning.) Great. No actual grooming was done. Which is what I called for when I made the appointment... It's also worth noting that they ask for a tip before you even see your dog. I tipped, assuming everything would be done and I'd be very happy. It wasn't until I got home that I realized they hadn't trimmed the hair around his paw pads or sanitary areas...basic grooming items. (I had also requested the anal gland expression and de shedding, so who knew at that point what was even done.) I called the next morning to see if I could bring him back in to have this corrected. I explained that I was not upset but understood that confusion happens. Well, there was no concern about making this right. I was told they don't offer that as a standalone service and that I'd need to book another bath appointment. What?! Giving my dog another bath two days in a row is not only terrible for my dog, but it's also unnecessary $$. So that response was surprising. After pushing a bit, they said they could "get approval" to do the standalone services if I brought him back and paid the price difference. At that point, it wasn't about the $20. The prices are all reasonable. It was about the lack of ownership and effort to make things right after they missed core parts of the service I originally requested. This was their chance to retain a new customer and they just didn't care. I chose not to bring him back because the experience left me with very little confidence in their care or customer service. I was really hoping to find a reliable local spot in Lake Stevens, but unfortunately, this isn't it.
