Prior to visiting this location, I made an appointment to look at the types of doors available on the show room floor. When at the location, I picked out two doors with the help of Chris Owens. Chris explained the process to me about how long the doors would take as well as what to expect. After I picked out the doors and paid 50% down, Chris came to my home and measured my door spaces to ensue the doors I ordered would fit in my space. The install of the two doors I ordered was done over the period of two days. the backdoor took about half a day to install because the frame had to be removed. The front door was done in the period of a few hours today. Corey was the installer for both doors. Corey (like Chris) was professional and personable. Overall, I had a good experience with this company. While the wait may be long for the doors, the final product as delivered is sharp looking.

Several inch thick solid ice around the trim of every single window in our house. We reached out to them immediately because we were still under warranty. It took them until the end of May to even come and look at it, keep in mind the GC lives one street over, absolutely no excuse. First the owner told us "he's never seen this issue in any house he's ever built" then he said in an email "That's why you don't put aluminum windows in a barndominium". Why is this their standard window you put in your houses then? I wouldn't even put these crappy windows in a barn, we also would've spent more money on better windows had they told us we can never redo windows in a barndominium! We have reached out MANY times only to be ignored and ghosted by the builders. They were trying to avoid us as much as possible until our warranty was out so they didn't have to fix their mistake. After the May visit to our house they wanted us to purchase a $3,000 dehumidifier to prevent the windows from doing this. Prior to the $3,000 dehumidifier we were told after arguing with them about why should we have to pay for their wrong doing they did agree they would cover this for us. Also the Wayne's air owner called me telling me that they didn't even believe the AC was the problem, at that they agreed it was a window installation issue. Then Mike the owner told me "they never said that" yes they did! The problem has not helped AT ALL. Also when he FINALLY came to look at our windows and AC in May he said we just need to keep our AC at 60 degrees to avoid higher humidity, really? Are you going to pay for my AC bill every month? Last week the first day of the temperatures dropping we are left with solid ice once again around every window of our house. We have reached out to builder yet again, he responds once or twice to make you think you are going to get help then ghosts you. These windows are a piece of crap and not worth the money we spent building this house. This was supposed to be our forever home and this is a continuing issue, not to mention the amount of mold we have around every single window and has ruined our dry wall. We would not recommend this builder to anyone and we will be taking legal action.

Hubby called and we drove straight there. Greeted by Matthew & Katy and let me just say, we were blown away by all the information we received in the hour we were there. They showed us around and answered all of our questions, and we had a ton! We learned so much and feel very comfortable about moving forward with the building process. They have a plans guy they work with and also a local banker that specializes in barndo loans... it's almost a one stop shop in this little community. Matthew is super knowledgeable about EVERYTHING! Very authentic and not pushy. My husband and I both automatically had a great feeling about them. These days you can hardly get a call back or friendly service anywhere. This company has it all. We will definitely be back and would recommend them to anyone. So many options for building and they do it all from land clearing, driveways... Great business all around! We received a quote by the end of the day and waited a few weeks for actual measurements of our counter and backsplash space for replacement. Waited another few weeks to have them start demo on a Tuesday to disconnect stove, water, sink and dishwasher, and waited til Friday for installation of counters. Was originally planned for Thursday but due to miscommunication I wasted a full Thursday waiting to find out no one was coming. Came the following week to do backsplash and complete the job. For future reference, I would get an estimated timeframe from start to finish. Scheduling and communication seemed to lack and had difficulty trying to make my personal plans around them so I basically couldn't plan ahead for anything for 1 1/2 weeks. When I mentioned this to my sales associate he was very specific of a 3-4 day start/finish that was never mentioned to us, nor estimated in our contract. Well, we were way over their timeframe based on the wait time of scheduling. Since we had to go without sink water since Tuesday, a plumber came out Saturday to reconnect sink, stove and dishwasher for the weekend until completion the following week. I feel that the daily teams did a great job however I feel that my associate person could have given everything a thorough inspection, especially on completion day. Pictures and admiration does not pass as a full inspection. We ended up not having silicone caulk between the counters and backsplash therefore the grout was cracking, there were some quartz blemishes that needed touch up, electrical outlets were having problems, etc. and I had to make my own punch list for followup which again was not reinspected by my associate. So for over a two week period the job from start to finish was complete. I ended up caulking the counter to backsplash since nothing was scheduled, it was always next week.....not a scheduled day. I surrendered. Before this begun, full payment was done therefore I felt that they were done with us and left it at that. I still gave them 4 stars being that 90% of the job was done good by the assigned teams.

The one month turned into two months as Tony repeatedly scheduled the work with each date resulting in a " no show" and not even one phone call did he ever make to reschedule the work.. At the end of the second month, one man and woman showed up and worked for 45 minutes on our patio. They left without a word leaving the patio only minimally better than when they came. We are left with preparing the patio for a seal coat. We thought we were getting a turnkey job. Wrong! If you hire Tony Jacobs, make sure the job is completely finished before you give him him final money, otherwise you will be out of luck. Neither he nor his office staff EVER return phone calls, When you are told they will find out and call you back, that simply means they are ending the call.
