I initially came to Cashway Ace to have a new car key made (yes, they do that!)…read more They ordered my new key and it took a little less than a week to come in, I spent about 20 minutes finding new tools I couldn't seem to live without while they programmed my new key. The price was very reasonable and the customer service was magnificent. They have a large and awesome variety of tools and materials. This is definitely the place to go first for supplies if you have a project that needs doing. I've since been in for AC Compressor coil cleaner. They were less expensive than Amazon AND I was able to clean my compressor coils today. There is even lively and interesting political discourse you can participate in going on behind the counter. Thanks guys (and at least one gal) for all of your help! I'll see you soon!

I have been eyeing cement tiles for over a month now. We had a terrible flood in our kitchen and…read moreneed to replace our hardwood. After looking at all different stones and wood we have decided to go with cement tiles. I have searched high and low for a similar tile that Leo's Oyster Bar has and finally found it here at Rustico. I looked at 30 different cement tile shops and have found that Rustico probably has the best pricing also. The customer service has been wonderful, I've been conversing with Melanie through email. She shipped me three samples and all three are great quality. I liked how she made sure to follow up with me to let me know my tiles would be arriving that afternoon, we are in Southern California and they're in Texas. The tiles came well packed. I went to look at cement tiles in Woodland Hills at a store called Factor Surfaces same quality cement cement tiles were starting at $9.50 a piece vs Melanie's $5.50 and even a $3.75 sale priced tile. On their website you can see which tiles are on a flash sale at the moment. What makes Rustico an ever better deal for me is the saving on taxes. Based off the customer service I've had with Melanie over a dozen or so emails has me whole heartedly recommending Rustico.

In my honest opinion, their prices were reasonable, all sales staff appeared to be friendly and…read morehelpful. We received a quote by the end of the day and waited a few weeks for actual measurements of our counter and backsplash space for replacement. Waited another few weeks to have them start demo on a Tuesday to disconnect stove, water, sink and dishwasher, and waited til Friday for installation of counters. Was originally planned for Thursday but due to miscommunication I wasted a full Thursday waiting to find out no one was coming. Came the following week to do backsplash and complete the job. For future reference, I would get an estimated timeframe from start to finish. Scheduling and communication seemed to lack and had difficulty trying to make my personal plans around them so I basically couldn't plan ahead for anything for 1 1/2 weeks. When I mentioned this to my sales associate he was very specific of a 3-4 day start/finish that was never mentioned to us, nor estimated in our contract. Well, we were way over their timeframe based on the wait time of scheduling. Since we had to go without sink water since Tuesday, a plumber came out Saturday to reconnect sink, stove and dishwasher for the weekend until completion the following week. I feel that the daily teams did a great job however I feel that my associate person could have given everything a thorough inspection, especially on completion day. Pictures and admiration does not pass as a full inspection. We ended up not having silicone caulk between the counters and backsplash therefore the grout was cracking, there were some quartz blemishes that needed touch up, electrical outlets were having problems, etc. and I had to make my own punch list for followup which again was not reinspected by my associate. So for over a two week period the job from start to finish was complete. I ended up caulking the counter to backsplash since nothing was scheduled, it was always next week.....not a scheduled day. I surrendered. Before this begun, full payment was done therefore I felt that they were done with us and left it at that. I still gave them 4 stars being that 90% of the job was done good by the assigned teams.

The previous contractor had left it with visible drywall screws wide exposed cuts, etc. It looked terrible. After panicking because our countertops were scheduled for installation and looking through Jasons Yelp photos, we knew we needed to get on Jason's schedule. He books out sometimes 3 weeks, and this was last minute. We ended up delaying our countertop installation by 3 weeks in order to have him do the work. Waiting for Jason to do the work was 100% worth having a plywood island top for those 3 weeks. He showed up on time and got right to work. His cuts are precise, and the extension he built looks like it's always been there. We ended up hiring him to extend our kitchen cabinetry to the ceiling and add crown molding to it, as well as add trim pieces to our cabinets' blank sides before we had them painted. We also hired him to modify and install a wood hood over our stove top. Everything came out perfectly. We are more than impressed with his work and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. This guy is a professional and the best kind. There was not one bad surprise with him. He even gave me some tips, as I was filling the cabinet handle holes prior to getting them painted. They came out perfectly. Thanks, Jason!
