I had heard good things about Eric and Horizon Construction so I asked him to come and provide a bid. He arrived on time (actually a few minutes early) and got right to work! He inspected the roof and not only gave us a bid, but valuable information on what to put in the contract in case the seller went with a different contractor. Eric is extremely knowledgable and glad to share his knowledge, in his quiet and unassuming manner. Unfortunately, the seller of the house opted for a contractor he has used in the past. When the roof was on, we had Eric come inspect it and he found some issues with the job done by the other contractor (things like rotten plywood under new shingles, cheap seals that only last 5-8 years in the TX sun, old and frozen vents that weren't removed that will allow rain into the attic, etc). He worked up a full report for us showing the problems and saved us a lot of money in the process. He's very focused on providing quality work and being fair and reasonable in his pricing. From our interactions, I can tell he loves what he does and has a passion for it - something that makes him great at it! I trust Eric and his company and wouldn't hesitate to send my friends and family to him.

This was on an insurance claim and Bill Reid, the owner, was most knowledgeable about this process which was very helpful for someone who had never been through a claim before. He basically led us through all of the steps. This job was done in August in 100 plus degree temperature on top of the roof. His crew worked very diligently with very few breaks. The crew was respectful of your property by laying down extra plastic sheets And moving around plants as needed. After the job, they had a lady come through for additional clean-up as well as attempting to pick up the extra nails. They also had a manager who would come by and check not only with the workers but keep us updated as needed. The important thing is that the roof looks great!!! Thank you,Bill The Coyners

They came out to inspect my roof within two hours, on a weekend. The quote was reasonable and the owner and a crew member fixed my missing shingles in under 30 minutes. I would definitely call them again should I need another roof repair in the future.

DO NOT USE THIS ROOFING COMPANY!!!…read more We just purchased a new house and this is the company that the seller decided to go with. First off they spray painted all of the vents and flashing to the vents on top of the roof on the newly placed shingles instead of taking them off and doing it before hand. The roof had waves in it did not look flat at all. We tried calling Ron Johnson which is the owner about this thinking he would fix the problem. NO HE DID NOT! Instead told us that he wouldn't talk with us about this he would only talk with our inspector so he says. ... Umm what?? Ok so we move on and get our realtor involved. She calls and finally gets one of his workers if he was even a legit worker of his to come out to our final walk through. We found that part of the outter edge of the roof had been bent and on the back side of the roof had tar parks on multiple shingles. This Guy Greg said it was no problem and he would fix it before we closed on our house. Ok great! Well some of what he said was true they fixed the spray paint and replaced the shingles and evened out the shingles that had appeared to be Wavy but did not fix the spot where the roof had been bent. Said he would be back the next day. It will be 5 days since he said he would be back. Our Realtor has tried to contact Ron multiple times and each time answers and hangs up with her. My Fiance has also tried to contact them and he did not return his call but had his wife call him back telling him that the job had already been done which it had not been. She then stated that they only do good business sometimes. Like I said DO NOT NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Unless your up for a fight over your roof. TAKE PRIDE IN YOU WORK AND OWN UP TO YOUR MISTAKES!

Water was dripping into my house, and I couldn't bear the thought of keeping a bucket on the floor until 2022! Lane showed up that same afternoon, took pictures, told me what to tell my insurance company, and got the ball rolling. They replaced my entire roof flawlessly in about 6 hours, and the only way you could tell they'd done anything was that the roof looked better. They left the yard in a better state than when they arrived, and there wasn't a nail, shingle, or a speck of dust when they left. A fast, thorough, professional job. I had a complete tear off and replace thanks to hail damage. The guys who showed up to replace the roof did not speak any English, so it was a little difficult for us to exchange ideas and things I wanted done while they were here, without calling the home office. They left a mess every day without cleaning it up. I had to clean all the debris out of my pool every day to keep my skimmer / filter clean. Once the roof was done, then the hassle started with my insurance company and the back and forth trying to file for additional labor / contractor / oversight / GC / fee's / etc... It has been a mess now for 5 months and I've still not closed this out yet. Lesson learned here. I should have stuck with my local guys. Not someone looking to make a buck off the insurance folks.
