Greg finished the job and was supposed to come back and finish a few parts of the job that his team didn't do correctly (loose decking, broken fence post, incorrect light fixtures). However he just vanished and stopped responding to all my texts and emails. I hope everything is ok and it is sad if they actually did go out of business, but the way greg handled this was cowardly and highly unprofessional. A very honest review - I would not recommend…read more Jaylin is earnest and tries hard but not the best business man nor was his execution of the project done well. There wasn't a clear level of communication in understanding our wants at the beginning nor a good back and forth along the way. Because of that his team ripped out bushes that were not meant to be replaced, the weed liner was laid too high and thinly mulched and mulch just ran off onto the sidewalk when it rained and needed to be redone and other details that needed oversight on our part. I had to point out spots where the liner was showing through, that was not something he caught. The work was decent, not what I would call excellent but he is a reasonable price so that might be a good trade off. My big reason for getting our lawn redone and some landscaping started with the grass in the back was not growing under shaded areas and agreed to replace the current bermuda with a specific type that grows in shade. He somehow forgot and relaid bermuda in the back and then wanted us to pay another $1500 to offset the cost of his labor to relay the grass we originally agreed and paid to have done. We did not agree to that as the contract stated things clearly. He did go ahead and replace the bermuda the second time but when that grass grew out it had patchy spots of which he has never come back to fix though he said he would, he no longer responds to my texts. There were many other mishaps like being late several times, delays that were not communicated and so forth. One last thing is that he committed to do our lawn service but has missed commitments and has only been here 3 times in the last 6 mo. Without any word he just stopped and will not return texts. I have spoken with him several times and given him multiple chances to respond and fulfill his commitment with no follow up and now no response.

I found this service through Yelp. They were extremely fast and professional. I originally made an…read moreappointment with them for a few days later to just have my sprinklers checked after the winter. Then I went to turn on my sprinklers so they would have some water while I waited and found my sprinkler control panel was a mess and resetting it didn't fix the problem. I told On The Spot Sprinkler Repair about this and they recommended I got an inexpensive replacement sprinkler control system from Amazon which then arrived the same day. I told the repair service that I was now in a bit of a rush since I went from maintenance needs to a completely broken system, and they squeezed me in the next day which was EXTREMELY nice of them! Oh, and it turns out that my sprinklers were fine after the winter, I just had a busted control system -- perhaps from an electrical surge so I am now protecting the system with a UPS/surge protector setup. (I had an old UPS that I was going to throw away but it had plenty of juice left in it for such a little control system.) All communications with them were very fast and professional and On The Spot Sprinkler Repair was very knowledgeable which is not always the case with repair people.
