I had to remove the form on this one and placed it in the front-yard for pickup. Never happened. Had to trash it. Fine, just some sticks to break and dispose of. Next came the Driveway. One year later. Came out promptly to bid. Reasonable price so I contracted it. Watched his relatives work each day. Seem careful enough with me there. I was concerned that they would do the re-bar right. Said he would use chairs made of brick to raise the re-bar into the middle of the poured concrete (proper technique). No chairs but the re-bar was pulled up some while poured but how can it stay off the ground with out something keeping it in place while the crew of 3-4 are WALKING all over it? Fine, it was still better than what we had circa 1984. They finished and had to do some grinding to get the right height before final payment. Steve got antsy when I left before I could give him a check. My wife took care of that so (he) I can pay (his) my guys The next day I found 2 minor issues to be addressed that were from the pour and finishing. Simple work for him BUT... after 1 full week of phone calls and text messages I get absolutely no reply from him. Quite disappointing. I only want him to live up to his word that he stand(s) behind (his) my work . Can I recommend him to my best friend? Only if my friend is really laid back about people finishing their work. I will gladly update this review if I find there is a good reason as to why I have not received a reply to my request.
