Owner Wing is a super nice guy: he gave me some tips to ensure car safety and encouraged me to just drive my car to the repair shop in order to help me save money from towing. But I was too sacred to drive even for only half a mile's distance. Wing arrived with his tow truck within 30 mins and the charge for the service was reasonable. Please support this honest man and his business should one ever need a towing service. read more

Wing saved the day!!! My contractor was stuck by the 101 ramp. My mechanic came and took a look. They figured the fuel pump broke so it had to be towed. My mechanic called Wing of ASAP towing - my anxiety died down! It took about 25 mins for Wing to come to our location. Bing-bang-boom, Wing hooked up the truck to his tow truck and voila!! He was ready to tow all the way to San Jose! This whole process from stalling to towing took an 1hr. But worth the wait. I am thankful for the recommendation to use ASAP. (I'll admit I was shocked a bit by the bill - but hey, it's all the way to San Jose, AND Wing came to the rescue in a record time) Thank you Wing!! read more

Wing is fantastic. Super nice guy and the price was fair. I was stuck in traffic and was late to meet him, and he was understanding and worked quickly to get my car to the shop before it closed. Couldn't recommend ASAP enough! read more

The best towing company i had ever encountered, amazing drivers super knowledge towing my lowered custom ride, thank you very very much taking the time and care for towing my ride. read more

I hit a pothole and got a flat tire. I called my insurance company, Geico, who called ASAP Towing at noon. ASAP said they'd be there in 90 minutes. Cool. 2 hours later I call back and have an irate lady frustrated that I'm calling to ask where the tow truck is. "It'll be there within the hour." Repeat this multiple times. The lady kept putting me on hold, not because there was other people calling. But because she didn't want to deal with me asking why the truck wasn't there hour after hour. Now, at 6 PM my car has been picked up. I call them one final time to tell ASAP that I'm unhappy with my service. Danny, from the San Francisco office snidely tells me that he does not care. There are no supervisors around to take a complaint. Danny then named my make and model, appearing to threaten my enhostaged vehicle. I thanked him for his time and hung up. Do not use these people. They do not care. Find a better tow truck service. read more

ASAP towing name says it all. A client of mine had his car stalled in sunset, in front of sunset super. My client told me that he needed a tow and a ride back to his office. I called ASAP towing and told him where he was located at and I would probably meet him there. I was actually five minutes away. As I got there, I was transferring my clients personal belongings to my car. As soon as the last item was place in my trunk, ASAP towing was there. He got it hooked up to his truck in less than 5 minutes. Amazing!!! Would definitely use him again. His name is Wing and his number is 415.298.6088. A number you don't want to lose if you ever get stuck somewhere. read more

So apparently the computer in my car died so I was car-less for 3 days. AHHH the terror! Since the dealership was busy I had to wait until today to bring in my car. Philip (the guy from 76 Wharf Auto Shop) told me to call ASAP Towing Service to bring my car to Geary and 4th. Wing, the guy that towed my truck was very nice and helpful. Philip and Wing made this horrible situation a little less stressful. Here's a big THANK YOU! Wing told me to call the dealership to see if my warranty has expired or not because if I'm not covered I would be paying $$$BANK$$$ to fix my car. Philip helped me punch in my number and the computer told him that they should be able to cover the charges. Omg I felt like 10 lbs had lifted off my shoulders. Seriously, thank you guys for all the help. I really really appreciate it. I don't know how much towing usually costs but Wing charged me $65. A little expensive if you ask me but thank you thank you for bringing my car to Geary and 4th safely! read more

Quoted a price by his partner and referring person Will at ABC Auto. Explained the situation in detail to him over the phone before the tow. Once he arrived at the "job" I had concerns about the equipment he brought. I expected a flatbed. He never said using Dolly's would be extra when he hooked up the car ( I would have never allowed him to) once the car was at the shop (4 blocks away) I was told the price. I stated that this was not the agreed to price he said well that what it is. I feel extorted by both him and the shop. Considering I was referred to them by "our" friend. read more

ASAP oh yeah! They are quick, efficient and courteous. I felt very taken care of and it was worth the $$. My car broke down in the Sunset. I called ASAP based on the Yelp reviews and got a voice message. As soon as I hung up, I got a call right back from Wing. He was polite and sweet, and said to expect the tow truck in 30 minutes. Lo and behold, it came within about 20 minutes. The tow truck was clean and hauled my car onto the bed. Wing took care of my car, asked me how I was doing and what the problem was - it was simple, basic things like that that a customer really appreciates. He then towed the car to my mechanic and gave me a phone call that the car was safely dropped off. I paid in cash so I got a slight discount but it is worth the money to know that your car is in very good hands. I appreciate polite business owners and service managers who seem to care about their customers, so thank you, ASAP! I hope to never use your service again, heh, but if I do, I now know who to call. read more

Although it seems like a small (or possibly one man) operation, ASAP Towing helped me out. I needed to get my car to a garage for repairs, and the guy showed up when he said he would. He knew what he was doing and everything went well. The tow was $75. read more

Didn't realize I was missing out on customer service until I met Wing. AAA wasn't able to come out with a flat bed truck until late in the day and so began my search for a tow service. When requesting for a flat bed to accommodate a lowered car, Wing took the time to explain his dolly tow compared to a flat bed. I later learned as he was setting my car up that a flat bed typically would scrape lowered cars too. This did happen the previous time I used AAA. To AAA's credit, one of their tow service people was well equipped with long wooden boards to assist lowered cars onto the ramp of the flatbed without scraping, but this isn't typical of their service. Curious if that was his idea and he actually took the time to include that on his truck. Wing arrived in person within the time frame he proposed on the phone (45min - 1 hour for that particular Tuesday morning). Service with a smile. You can tell he enjoys what he does and takes extra steps to keep customers happy. At the end, he surprised me with a free pen. Obviously a marketing tool, but it's nice a small company like his takes some effort. I'm obviously not jumping up and down for a free pen, but as a wannabe entrepreneur, I appreciate that stuff I guess. The car looked great. No doubt of it possibly scraping on the hilly roads of SF. Wing tells me he tows high end cars too and is used to rigging lowered cars. He also warned me that some folks don't properly mount the wheels when it's on the flatbed and this can lead to bending of parts. I don't know about the bending part, but one AAA guy did strap my rim instead of the entire tire like I think you're supposed to. Although I already knew about the button in my car to disengage the alarm when the car's being towed, Wing clued me in on it as a pointer. Didn't sound at all like a know-it-all but you can tell he's experienced and he owns the company. If I ever need an independent tow, I'm calling Wing hands down. No hesitation. COMPARISONS: I have not used services from other tow companies, but here are a few thoughts based on brief telephone conversations with other towers. Maybe it was a good thing that California Towing as booked or else I wouldn't have met Wing. California Towing picked up the phone right away and greeting was friendly. Roberto from Robert's Auto Service was very courteous on the phone too. He would've been my second choice. read more

Made an appointment to have my car towed to a repair shop and they arrived in a timely manner. The driver was very helpful and even briefly inspected my car to let me know potential causes of the problem. The ride itself to the repair shop went smoothly and the driver charged me the exact amount I got from the quote over the phone call a couple days earlier. Overall, very pleased and will call them up again if I need to in the future. By the way, I heard that AI bots are getting more sophisticated at writing plausible-sounding Yelp reviews, so I can assure you that this review was not written by a deep-learning neural net. read more

Fast. Helpful. Easy. Even helped push the car, disconnect the battery, lock the door, dropped off the car, and sent me a pic of the drop off. Nice, professional service. Couldn't ask for more read more

No one is psyched to need a car towing company, but Wing was the nicest person I could have had tow me from Orinda to San Francisco. I really enjoyed our conversation and being able to pre-arrange the tow time the day before. He was super easy to work with, and I highly recommend him for anyone needing a tow. read more

Wow - great customer service! I called this evening about my very dead car battery, and got I some great advice over the phone. This wasn't an emergency (the car is safely stowed in the garage and I take Muni to work), so ASAP suggested it would potentially save time and money if I waited until I have some time during the day to deal with this. That way an auto shop would be open if it turned out the car needed more work or, if the charge held, I'd have time to put in the freeway driving necessary to fully charge the battery. I'm putting ASAP on speed dial and will definitely be calling them again! read more

Amazing. I am typically a leecher at yelp meaning that I only use it for my own benefit to see what services are great or not. But the service from ASAP towing has been beyond satisfaction that I needed to create an account myself and post my experience. Not only did Wing arrive on time and assist in getting my vehicle to where it was needed, he even provided helpful recommendations on what shops were good in the area. I don't live in the area but had no choice to take my vehicle to a local shop to due a blown transmission. He really made my day better which couldn't get any worse. Highly recommend his service as it was prompt, fast, and straight up honest guy. When your vehicle is being towed, I'm pretty sure you aren't happy nor excited. Wing helps lighten these stressful moments which everyone has to experience once in a while. read more

I had a great experience with Wing. The battery died in my car, and as a new driver in SF, I had no idea what to do. Wing was extremely understanding and helpful. He worked around my crazy schedule, even waiting outside of my building for my call. He got my car up and running in about 10 minutes and gave me detailed instructions on how to avoid this in the future. When it came time for payment, he waived the "after hours fee" he was supposed to charge and refused a tip. And when he was about to leave, he made sure to check to see if I had enough gas in my car. I can not say enough good things about Wing and ASAP towing. His kindness and help made my awful day that much better - THANK YOU Wing! read more

I accidentally locked my keys in my trunk and needed to get somewhere. Luckily they came within 30 minutes on a busy weekend when a few other places I called couldn't get there quicker than an hour or more. They also charged $75 which wasn't bad compared to the $160 that some locksmiths wanted...Plus the guy was super friendly and happy. Thanks! read more

Exceptional service from Wong. I called several places and all quoted me close to $300 because of the aftermarket suspension on my car. Wing showed up earlier than he said and took great car of my car and charged half what other places were charging. This guy DEFINITELY knows what he is doing and was beyond helpful when things became worse. Showed up at auto shop and discovered my card could not process due to a scratch on it. Wing offered to drive me to my bank to solve the matter and was sincerely patient and understanding despite the long bank lines on a Friday. I never had a yelp account before but I specifically set one up because of his help. All the reviews on here were extremely helpful. Too bad I can't give him 10 stars :) read more

This is truly one of the best towing companies I have ever used! The rescue was prompt and I have never been treated nicer or received as much insight as the owner gave me on our drive over to my mechanic. He was flexible and more concerned with making sure my next steps made sense towards fixing my car rather than getting a quick buck and leaving me to get home on my own. His expertise in the field extended far past simple towing knowledge--he was ready and willing to refer me to other mechanics in case the initial problem with my car was not fixed. He also literally showed me where he thought the problem was in my car, allowing me to understand the vehicle from a perspective I have never had the opportunity to see before. As a relatively new car owner, I can tell you right now that if my car ever breaks down again, this is absolutely the first place I am calling! read more

ASAP auto service provided a professional, courteous and friendly driver to help me with what could have been a frustrating situation. My car wouldn't start after being parked in the V.A. Medical Center garage in San Francisco. I scheduled a pickup with Wing (who runs the company) for 10 AM, and he called me 20 minutes in advance to let me know he'd show up a little early! The V.A. Medical Center parking can be confusing, but it didn't phase Wing, and he got my car on the back of his tow truck in no time. He towed me to my mechanic in Oakland with no fuss, and even gave me a ride back to SF for work. He takes cash or credit. A+ Wing! read more
