Called APSP to solve a closet door handle that came off hoping they could fix it and restore to its original state. Instead, they took a scorched earth approach and drilled through the fixture and left the lever and all the bits on the floor. I was left with a door with a hole and parts on the floor. Eddie was awesome. Showed up quickly and fixed the lock in no time. A key had broken off in the lock but it was too far in to remove, but Eddie had a replacement from a prior job and was able to rekey it, which saved me having to go out and buy a new one. I locked myself from my home on Easter Sunday. I was fortunate to have my watch to call whatever locksmith I could. My phone was near but I had no idea what company I was calling, I was desperate. I told the women, who answered (nice lady) my issue and asked how much it would be. She said $45 to unlock and $15 service fee. I said "ok" 60 bucks is my damage, I figured that's my fault for not paying attention. Fast service, he gets here in 20 mins. He starts by saying that if he can pick the door lock open it would only be $70 but if he has to drill it, it would be $85 and so on. I told him that I got a flat fee quote. He said "thats an initial cost" Like any other desperate person who just wanted to get in, I agreed. He ended up drilling the door knob. After he told me "I can remove and change the door knob" I said "no, I just needed to get in. I'll call management tomorrow to do the rest they can cover the cost" he said "call them and let them know so I can do it now" I said "no. It's Easter Sunday". Overall, fast service but liars. They take advantage of a vulnerable person. If you are able to have time and select help, don't choose them. 2 stars because they got her fast, They made $85 in less then an hour, good money. read more
