Phenomenal atmosphere, even better brews! The sours here are outstanding. I wish I had taken a picture of the beer list so I could remember the names. I also had a barrel aged beer which I think was named Owl. The folks were nice, and made good recommendations and the people I was with all enjoyed what they were drinking. If you're in the area, it's worth checking out.

This place is wonderful! Great atmosphere and amazing staff! Had the Campground Shenanigans was so good! Bold flavor and even bolder ABV! They are very strict on reservations and distance which is great. Parker O. Was more than accommodating. He was super informative about the different beers and helpful with choosing a great next beer. I will definitely come back!

My boyfriend and I came here to try some of the sours I've seen on their Instagram page. We each got the Banana Watch and agreed it was one of the best sours we've had! It's not too tart, but it's also got a thicker, almost smoothie like consistency. So, be prepared for a different texture. My bf and I both love it! The place is very open and clean and they have a great outdoor seating area with occasional food trucks. I didn't need to make any reservations (as of 8/12/21) and the bartenders were nice. It is a little pricey--$30 for 4 drinks--but it's also a nano brewery and has a limited supply of everything. So, pros and cons, just be aware it's a little pricier than other breweries. Their beers truly are fantastic though!

I've been meaning to make it out to Arvon for a long time, and finally was able to make it out. I'm a big fan of fruited sours and Arvon did not disappoint. My wife and I have been to close to 200 breweries, and Arvon is hands down my new favorite. Can't wait to go back!

I made a reservation online to check out Arvon Brewing Co and I'm so glad I did! I'm not much of a beer drinker anymore these days, but I do love a good sour and they have plenty of options there. They also have a few different NE IPAs, so if you like those types of beer, definitely add Arvon to your list. Currently during COVID times, reservations are required and are for 1 hour at a time. If you need more than 1 hour, just make back to back reservations on their website. The taproom is really nice with tons of natural light and lofty airy high ceilings. We sat in some very comfortable cute chairs (so comfy and cute that I asked where they came from) with two small tree stump-esque tables. The staff we interacted with were all super friendly, helpful, and polite. Samples were offered but I knew I wanted to try at least most of the sour beers. The peach sour was definitely my favorite and the seltzer I tried was my least favorite. The peach sour was exactly what I wanted - big peach flavor and a bit tart. The NE IPAs I sipped were also refreshing and tasty! The tree stump tables turned out to be a bit too small so we were juggling lots of glasses but it wasn't a big deal. We managed to get some delicious food from a food truck that was parked outside, so be sure to check their Facebook page for updates on that. During COVID times, a reservation is required, and masks are required when not seated. I'm so looking forward to trying more of Arvon's beers, especially the sours!

What a find! Arvon Brewing is a first class establishment that is making the best out of this dumpster fire that is 2020. Their taproom is clean and decorated with modern simplicity that manages to feel inviting and spacious. Currently they are accepting reservations at their many seating arrangements to allow for socially distancing. Walk ins can get seated if there's room but I would suggest a reservation. But how is the beer you ask? It's.freaking.fabulous! They are best known for their IPAs and for good reason. Flavorful and well balanced their tap list changes frequently so you are assured a fresh pour. I was also a big fan of their Rice Krispy rice lager and their imperial stout was perfect for a chilly fall day. They offer full or 1/2 pours which is great for the indecisive. No flights but they will offer you tastes of whatever you want to try. They don't offer food but host food trucks in their parking lot, check their website or fb page for details. Their biggest handicap (aside from the pandemic) is location. South Division isn't always the best neighborhood but I strongly urge you to give it a chance. It's worth a visit or 10.

My friend & I walked in & sat at the bar. My friend said hi as the female bartender slid the list in front. She did not reply. The male bar (Dillon) tender gave us water AND greeted us. He was super friendly & made a suggestion. My friend said while I was in the restroom, the same woman was washing dishes in front of us but only asked the couple to her right, our left 'are you ok/do you need anything else?' She said not a word to us, I thought it was because we were on Dillon's side, but from what I was told, that was not the case.

Our favorite stop on our trip to GR! It is pretty separate from the downtown area so we drove after hiking Millennium Park and were glad we did. The space is very clean, well spaced and modern. The beer is so clean and crisp, my husband and I each had a couple half pours and left wanting more! Catching Rays and White Shoal were a couple of my favorites we tried. They don't serve food or we probably would have stayed longer. Sounds like they usually have a food truck but COVID impacted the one they normally would have.

A buddy and I met up here on the Saturday of their opening weekend, thinking it'd be a little less busy since it was during Winter Beer Fest. However, it turns out that we were not alone in that thought process and the place was packed. Thankfully I like to make fashionably late appearances, so my friend -- who got their half an hour before me -- was able to snag a table just before I arrived. They have an order-at-the-counter scenario going on, so my friend texted me to get in line and buy us both a beer so we didn't lose our table. The space is nice -- has a modern, almost minimalist aesthetic with big windows separating the tap room from the brewhouse. It looks like they are still in the process of getting their new equipment set up, but everything looks nice and shiny. The tap room has the aforementioned bar where there only seemed to be one point of sales and two hardworking guys taking orders and pouring drinks. While this might be sufficient most days, it made for slow going when the line got long. Seating is primarily a row of communal picnic tables, a small lounge area with a few comfier chairs, and a couple high-top tables near the windows to the brewhouse. Again, this will probably be sufficient in a couple weeks when things settle down, but made it a little awkward when we were there since people were standing around in groups waiting to swoop in for tables. The beers were all excellent. My friend didn't realize that all the IPAs were of the hazy variety so was a little disappointed with his first beer, but after sticking with the Pilsner and imperial stout, he was a happy camper. I loved all the IPAa I tried; especially the triple. As someone who works in a brewery, I've tasted a hop pellet straight up. My burp following that beer tasted like I had just eaten a hop pellet, in the best way possible! All in all, it's a great spot and will probably be more comfortable and enjoyable once the (well deserved) crowds die down and seating and parking become a little easier to procure.

Always have great beers on tap! There's something for everyone here. Haven't tried a bad beer from here yet!!!

Catching Rays - the pina coloda in beer form... SO good!

Arvon is a nice! High ceilings and open, clean space. Their menu is mostly IPA's and Sours. They're unique and delicious. I think everyone should give it a try! The downside is that there isn't a whole lot of room.. seating can fill up quick and that there isn't any food available. Maybe take some snacks with you!

Very cool look as they have a few shipping containers as sitting areas. Plenty of seating where I didn't feel jammed in. Also, a few arcade games. The service was friendly but know that it is minimal as you will order from the QR code at your table and order drinks at the bar. Definitely worth checking out and plan on returning.

The bartender was our server, and she was kind and helpful. When deciding between two pizzas, she pointed us toward the one with ranch after she learned I love ranch. It was so good, and we ate every bite. My hubby had a cider while I had a flight, so I could try many of their beers. There were so many flavors that I wanted to try, but I settled on the following for my flight: Lovely Day, Party Store, Wildflower, Super Juice Blood Orange, and Fiddle Stix. I couldn't pick a favorite between Lovely Day, Party Store, and Wildflower. The Super Juice flavor I picked was blood orange, but they had many other options that I would try if I lived there. The staff were friendly and we appreciated "The Library" filled with games and books. I was nostalgic and read Hunter's Guide to 1996 Michigan complete with a recommendation to stop at the now obsolete Pleasure Island Water Park. That used to be my absolute favorite getaway as a kid! We ordered arancini as a starter that came out tasting crisp like a tator tot, but the shape and taste actually reminded me more of a fried tteokbokki (Korean rice noodle) known for its deliciousness through its texture highlighting the spicy sauce. This would've been amazing had they had a nice gochujang mayo combo to dip this crispy treasure in, rather than ranch and pizza sauce. Next we tried the tikka masala pizza. Fun and inventive idea... much better than the naan pizza I had in Muskegon... however the sauce didn't taste as good as my homemade tikka masala base and though the pizza was tasty with varied texture, we found it somewhat lacked seasoning especially on the protein. If I were to construct it, instead of potato I would've had chicken, red pepper, cilantro, fresh avocado and pickled onion. Yum! To drink, I enjoyed a refreshing ginger Kombucha sourced from Walker Brothers in Nashville Tennessee. The kids loved their cheese pizza and cheese smash burger with fries and drinks. Overall, great first experience and would love to come back as it seems like they are constantly reinventing themselves with tasty morsels and brews. If you come, there is free parking in the back.
