    Beer flight

Guaranteed to be a grab bag. Every single time. Will you have a good server? Maybe. Will the food be good? Fingers crossed. Are the cocktails yummy? Sometimes. At least the beer is constant! They have a decent patio size but also are very particular if you're able to sit out there given your party size. This particular brewery faded from our list. But... still worth checking out if you like a good hazy IPA!

The staff was incredibly accommodating to our large party. The vegan sandwich was absolutely delicious it was essentially two pizza slices smashed together but it SLAPPED 10/10 delicious. Small parking lot but parking on side streets. There are high top tables and low seating with booth style seating as well.

Always loved the beer but finally made it back for some food. The pizza was amazing. We got the double pep which was simple but the flavors were perfection. Cesar salad was also delicious and big enough to share. Service was good and we love sitting outside to watch the action of the busy street.

Stopped in to try this place over the holiday weekend and we really loved our pizza! We were drawn in by the outdoor patio as well! Our server was so kind and very accommodating! Would love to come back to try out the Pickle library on the menu since it was sold out while we came to visit.

Solid place for some craft beers and snacks. Fiddlestix IPA was decent and the pickle library is an interesting plate with a few pickled vegetable options that are unique (turnip, sliced jalapeno and others. I went early on a Saturday, so the atmosphere would be better judged later in the day or evening.

Crispy Pig Pizza - would recommend.

Technically, I would give Harmony Brewing Company 4.5 stars, but since we are not allowed to give half points, I decided to round up. My friends and I came here on a Sunday night for Trivia night, and it was really fun! It was calm and civil, and the trivia host was really great and fun. I guess it was just happened to be on our night, but it was mainly filled with young adults. You answer the trivia questions through your phone. The questions were eclectic; that being said, each round would be differently themed, which made it fun. I would definitely come back here to play some more trivia! I got the Crispy Pig pizza and really enjoyed it. The crust is on the thinner side, which I kind of liked (I do like a nice thick crust, but this one was good). It was a good size; if I was really starving, I could have probably finished the whole thing. The only reason I docked off .5 points was because the pizza was quite salty. I know bacon can be quite salty, but this one was just a little too salty for me. But the rest of the pizza - the cheese and basil - was really great! I'd recommend it to friends.

Harmony Brewing Company is one of my favorite spots in Grand Rapids! I'm completely obsessed with their pizza--it's some of the best I've ever had. My mom and I love coming here for mother-daughter date nights, and we always share the Margherita pizza and the Family Caesar Salad. It's the perfect amount for us, and every bite is absolutely delicious. As a big pizza sauce person, I truly believe the sauce makes or breaks a pizza, and Harmony's pizza sauce is hands-down the best! It's slightly sweet, super fresh, and pairs perfectly with their crust, which is always cooked to perfection. The vibe of the building is so fun, with its unique multiple levels, and their patio in the heart of Eastown is a dream in the summer--so relaxing and perfect for a laid-back meal. The service is always friendly, and the space is clean, tidy, and welcoming. I can't recommend Harmony Brewing Company enough!

    Wedded Bliss and Crispy Pig

We love going to harmony for their signature pizzas. The Wedded Bliss pizza has always been one of our favorite for years. We also always get the cheesy pesto bread sticks with their house made ranch. Great location right in eastown with nice outdoor seating. Service is attentive.

Got two pizzas and pitcher of beer. Their pitchers are $2 off on Thursdays at 8pm, and they have a DJ that spins vinyls, too! We got the crispy pig and the wedded bliss. The wedded bliss was a bit sweet for our taste, but the crispy pig was awesome. For the pitcher, we got the Lovely Day IPA. If you're a fan of lavender, this beer is for you! The lavender/floral flavor is strong, and it's unique; I haven't had any comparable beers anywhere else.

The only reason they aren't getting 5 stars was that it was a very hot day when I went, asked to sit inside, and was sat in the far back. This was a problem because this section of seating had the large garage style doors that were closed, and had no AC. It was like a sauna in there, so I had to ask to be moved to a different table. Other that that, the parking is kind of slim, but there was plenty of street parking around it. The staff was very kind, but I did have to ask to be brought things a couple times before they arrived to my table. The menu was really well put together and the food was excellent! Smaller portion sizes than I expected, but I got an order of breadsticks and one pizza. It was enough to feed two people.

We stopped in here on Saturday afternoon and I had the PCHERRYDACTYL which was amazing. I love a sour beer and this one had the perfect cherry hint. I had the MOTHER NATURE'S RETURN sandwich which was the perfect mixture of sweetness with the dried cranberries. I especially like the caramelized onions. They had a roasted red pepper tomato soup on special for the day and these two paired great tougher. The patio was full however we sat in the back room which was so bright and warm from the sun, our server was attentive and cheery. Great location for lunch and to enjoy some delicious beers!

Harmony Brewing Company, I liked this cat

I was a little surprised to see I hadn't written a review for Harmony Brewing Company since I used to visit pretty often. Nate and I had a gift card so we stopped by on a sunny afternoon for a late lunch recently. We initially sat outside, but it started sprinkling so our server had us move inside. The interior is cozy and cool, with fun art and big murals on the walls. The menu is simple - salads, pizza, and breadsticks, made with quality ingredients. At lunch they also serve flatbread sandwiches. The beer options when we visited were nicely varied with a couple of tasty sours and fruity beers that I enjoyed. They also have a seltzer option that I tried with passionfruit juice - it was delicious! Sweet and refreshing. I like that they also have a full bar so you can get one of their house specialty cocktails for only $9. For lunch, we ordered the Handsome Brian salad and the hot pepper and bacon pizza. The Handsome Brian salad is simple but delicious with arugula, prosciutto, goat cheese, cracked pepper, parmesan, and lemon oil. It's bright and acidic with creaminess from the goat cheese. I love this salad and order it every time - and it's a big enough portion to split between 2+ people if you also get a pizza. I love a good wood-fired pizza and Harmony's is great. The pizza had quite the kick with the jalapenos (not hot cherry peppers as stated on the menu) and crushed red pepper - I found myself downing water after each piece, but it's not a heat that really lingers. The crust was crispy and the pizza had a nice amount of cheese and sauce. Oh, the sauce! It's not super sweet, just bright and tomato-ey. If you want a nice chill spot to hang out and enjoy some pizza and beer, definitely visit Harmony.

    Double Pep SBI (salty version)

Food was good as long as you stick to the sandwiches, the pizza on the other hand was too salty, not sure if it was the cheese, or the pepperoni but salty from the word go, my wife took one bite and passed on eating more As far as the Ales, I'm on the fence, they lacked a lot of flavor that I enjoy when sipping a hood ale. The waitress and the workers were nice and really hard working, but we're not returning, sorry

Ask the Community - Harmony Brewing Company

Do you know the answer to this question recently asked by Charys G. for Harmony Brewing Company? Charys G. asks: "How big are the pizzas?" and where is the question now?…

They are about 12inches! It's about 1.5 people's worth of pizza! I would recommend sharing that and a small app for a party of 2. That being said, pizzas are great!

We've gotten plenty of takeout from Quarantino's over the years, but only recently stopped by to dine in. We were greeted right away and got to choose a nice booth by the window. The menu is concise and features their delicious Detroit style pizza. I was starving so we ended up ordering quite a bit to have leftovers - the kale Caesar salad, one of the weekly feature pizzas, and the Quarantino's deluxe. The salad is one of my favorites - it's made with curly kale and topped with crunchy kettle potato chips. It's always good and makes for great leftovers because it's so hearty. Our pizzas came out shortly after our salad was finished and they were delicious. Their crust is perfection - fluffy but chewy and crispy in the right places. I personally love their red sauce the most because it's savory, and not overly sweet. The toppings on the deluxe were plentiful and high quality. The special pizza rotates weekly(ish) and this one had 'nduja, ramp aioli, and shredded potato. Plus lots of cheese. Their specials are always inventive and sound so tasty. Our server was super fun and awesome to chat with. I really liked him, he brought such a big smile to my face. I am so glad we finally got to have the dine in experience at Quarantino's and we'll be back for their mid-week pizza, pasta, salad deal!

The place was packed full of people (a sign of a great restaurant) and while I sat and waited over fifteen minutes past my pickup time, I watched people come in, be told it will be a few minutes and then their receipt/order gets pulled and then taken to the back, like mine was. Almost as if they don't bother making the pizza until you show up? Anyway, we picked up our pizza and bread and headed out. I was surprised at the small box that contained both the pizza AND the bread; I got into the car and opened it and laughed. The pizza was small, the bread was small. I was surprised at how little food there was. Oh well! Lesson learned. We took it back to our hotel and fed the kids. The pizza looked delicious, but was just ok. The cheese bread looked amazing - and then I bit into it. Dill. Why is there dill on the cheese bread? Overall, it was an experience. Nothing terrible, nothing great. Note: finding parking for carry out is a challenge.

Nate and I have had their food twice now - once was a complimentary pizza order during their soft opening period, and we just ordered delivery over a lazy holiday weekend. We got the supreme pizza and cheesy bread on our most recent order, and have also tried the caprese salad and rustica pizza. The menu includes lots of options beyond pizza - appetizers, subs, wraps, salads, pasta, stromboli, and dessert! They have vegan cheese and cauliflower crust options too. Online ordering is quick and easy through the Franca's Pizzeria website, and I like that they use their own delivery drivers. The charge for delivery was only $4 which isn't bad, especially considering all the upcharges for third-party delivery services these days. I ordered ahead for a later time and it arrived a few minutes early. All the food was hot and fresh. The supreme pizza has ham, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green pepper, and onion. The hand tossed crust is a medium thickness, but they also have thick crust as an option. The toppings were plentiful and fresh, and I loved the sausage. The sauce is not overly sweet, so it gets a thumbs up from me. The cheesy bread is really good! It's not super tough or crunchy, I like that it's pillowy in the middle. You can get extra cheese, but I thought the regular amount was plenty. We also loved the caprese salad - it was super fresh, with a nice amount of fresh mozzarella and dressed nicely. It was nice to have a bit of a healthy side to go with our tasty pizza. Franca's rates slightly above Peppino's for me (my other favorite local pizza spot), mostly due to their unique toppings and specialty pizza combinations. I'm super intrigued by the campagnola: margherita sauce, caramelized mushrooms and onions, sausage, bleu cheese, tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella. If you're in the area and need a takeout pizza, check out Franca's.

The Foolery came up on Yelp and figured we could not go wrong with pizza to feed our starving children. They have a great selection of Detroit style pizzas here. We didn't feel like being adventurous so went with the pepperoni. I've always loved Detroit style pizzas due to the thicker crust that's crispy on the sides and The Foolery passed the assignment. Pizza was really good! And as a Chicagoan, that means a lot! The size of the pizza is a little small - but you get 6 slices so if you're hungry or got a big group to feed, I would plan accordingly. Remember Detroit style is a rectangle pie, not circular like a standard whole pizza. We got the Elote dip as an appetizer and it was a clever take on one of my favorite Mexican snacks. It came with elote corn and chips on the side. Like I said, clever and not bad! Our server that day was awesome. We had a group of about 13 people and they just had small pub tables that fit 4 people each. But no problem because he was willing to organize the whole front room and put 4 of those tables side by side to accommodate all of us. He did it happily and without complaints. Our food did take some time to come out, but that's ok. I was amongst great company and had a good drink in hand, we were out of town and all was good. I would come here again.
