    Steam beef dumpling
    Sally L.

This was our first time trying Mongolian dishes. We were there on a Saturday evening. There was no one dining in. We got the place to ourselves. There were couple of takeout orders while we were there. The restaurant is not big inside but it was clean. We ordered the Buuz(steam dumplings). There was ten pieces in one order. The sharsan ovchuu is a brisket meat with vegetables and steams flatbread. We also got the huushuur(fried dumplings), tava tsuliin shol(sheep offal soup), and milk tea. All the food came out super hot and good. We didn't know their portion was so big. The steam and fried dumplings were super huge. We looked like we ordered food for four people. The meat in their dumplings were so flavorful. We had a lot of leftover to take home. If you are adventurous, the sheep offal soup was very tasty. Their milk tea was different from other milk tea. Their milk tea is salty, it is so getting new to try. Service was good. The owner or staff were nice. I would definitely go back to try other dishes.

You feel at home here eating outstanding Mongolian food. So good! You start off with Mongolian milk tea which is warming and refreshing. We had Tsuivan and Huushuur and both were delicious. The Huushuur (large fried dumpling) was juicy and oh so tasty, and the Tsuivan (a noodle dish) was amazing. I love that we have so many wonderful restaurants in Chicagoland. Mongolian food is so comforting, and this place is now on my list of favorite places.

The best authentic Mongolian food in Illinois. The portion of food is very generous, and its made to order.

This is a staple for our family. This particular visit we brought family from out of town to eat in. They were very impressed and left with satisfied bellies.

Ordering was a breeze and the guys were always open to a conversation or giving suggestions. The restaurant was clean and the meal was always tasty. Just a note but the further away you move from any major city the fewer and harder it is to find great Asian food. The suburb is lucky to have them. The pandemic brought new staffing. Some were pleasant with customers though one lady, a supervisor had the wrong ideas of what customer service and proper etiquette is. Just the basics of my final visit. I took my family for lunch. We ordered lunch specials and a couple extra must-try plates. Two specials hit the table and the third was left waiting for her meal. Unbeknownst to us in the moment, her food was handed to a single patron there for his lunch. The place was filling up with a lunch rush but not so many that had complicated orders. Many were ordering similar lunch specials. Kung pao lunch special was popular. When her order finally arrived the supervisor realized she had given the wrong plate to the customer sitting some tables behind us. Mind you ten minutes had already passed. She quickly went over to him and asked what he had ordered. She then took the plate he was eating from and handed him the fresh plate. He was still holding a half eaten egg roll in his hand. Then she brought the quarter eaten plate and placed it in front of my mother. Before she could leave I stopped her and asked her what she was doing. She simply stated that was her lunch order. I told her she handed my mother someone else's food that they were eating and I watched the whole thing. Why didn't you take that to the back and make a completely new plate of food?! I paid the bill and got the F**k out. That's gross. Also, you gave the other patron new food but cannot do the same for our table?? This place is dead to me. If she could do that, it beckons the question of what else is happening behind the scenes.

We dined in here a month or so ago and were the only customers at what you would think is peak dinnertime, 6pm or so. It was a ghost town. And not only that, but the restaurant was ghostly chilly too. Very cold inside, to the point that we switched tables to get to avoid the draft from the vent and commented to the employee about it. The tonkatsu entree is mediocre. The batter on the pork was crispy, but bland. It was $16.99, as was the small order of boneless wings, which come with a tiny side of coleslaw or pickled radish. A side of plain fries is $5.99. On our last pick up order from here too, the chicken strips were soggy and barely had any crunch to it. My husband usually doesn't complain or call back about it, let alone return to the restaurant for a redo of the order, but that evening warranted it.

It was cold, dark and unwelcoming. Red flag because the Chinatown location, which I frequent often. Is ALWAYS busy, with bright lighting and comfortable temperature, no matter what time of day. The cashier/hostess was rather dry and minimally friendly as she told us we could sit anywhere when we told her we were dine-in. I'm immediately turned off by staff who act as if they would rather be anywhere else than their place of employment. But the good thing about most chains is that they have to follow recipes. I fell in love with Bonchon wings (Chinatown location ) a couple of years ago when my daughter introduced me to them. Whether dine-in or take-out, I always had a great experience and was treated well by staff. While the food here was great---soy garlic wings, udon noodle soup, buns and the japchae noodles were just as delicious as Chinatown, the customer service left much to be desired. I'm thinking it could be busier if it were more welcoming. Meh.
