Nice adventure trying something new. We loved the tea samples and the selections available which is great because the food was subpar. The queso tasted like it was scooped out of a jar, warmed up and given a hot sauce swirl for presentation.

I'm so sorry! But the vibe this place is selling is.... lacking. And the the food! melted mexican cheese on a quiche ? after calling a paris bite. UMM no and the queso was almost congealed. The fried stuff tasted OLD! Wish yall had tea in tea pots, had a barista that understood the tea and the food was fresh. we threw it out :( very sad

This coffee and taco shop is a nice study space with good wifi and a second floor seating area. It's cozy with some interesting decor. The honey badger latte is a delicious sweet coffee. They have various fusion tacos, which are tasty but overpriced for the size. I got the Tikka Maharaja taco, which was a chicken tikka masala taco. They served it in a tiny metal stand, and the taco was falling apart and getting on the table as I was eating. I'm not sure why they don't give plates. I also found it inconvenient that they don't post their prices on the menu. I've seen this at food trucks but not well-established brick and mortar restaurants.

Order the flat breakfast no combo by itself it was served as a medium, well-done, egg, hard shell tortilla, roasted tomatoes, very light and delicious. Also ordered the OUI taco breakfast came with egg cheese potatoes spinach with salsa served with soft shell tortilla different from your traditional Mexican breakfast taco but tasted delicious Drunk order was a Mexican hot chocolate temperature was wonderful not too hot not cold at all. Very delicious. Also ordered medium drip coffee with creamer and hazelnut, different taste from original bougie coffee or at home coffee but tasted good. Environment is warm welcoming upstairs seating and lower seating is available. Pet friendly establishment, service is a little slow but very polite it is a Sunday so know need to rush. Looking for a place to relax with a coffee or hot chocolate stop by and give it a try.

Arusha is such a cute spot to grab coffee in downtown Belton. They have a nice food menu as well which is not always the case at coffee shops. There is a cute upstairs and downstairs area to sit and it looks to be a good study or meeting spot. The coffee is always good and I really liked the Oui taco the first time I visited here. I tried the souflee by accident (I ordered a taco and opened my box to find a souflee!) and it was really good as well! They also have a large tea selection and cute tea gifts. A must visit when in Belton

Great coffee. Today we had the special Almond joy latte. It tasted like an Almond joy just not as sweet. It was perfect. The souffle is delicious! Very fresh and a great combination of spinach, artichoke, and cream cheese. The flat with egg and avocado was tasty. The atmosphere is nice. I also enjoy the tea samples.

Arusha is an awesome coffee shop! Tons of seating options, upstairs and downstairs, and cute ambiance and decor! My iced latte was great - it is on the sweeter side so go into it with that in mind. Tons of syrup options but I went with the salted caramel mocha which was delicious. Can't wait to try the food next time!

This spot was really nice inside. Lots of space to hang out. Really liked the upstairs. The food was good. Bulgogi taco was my favorite. Thanks to the barista I ordered a great coffee. I'd recommend trying this place.

When I checked out Arusha was very excited to try this place, and we went in the weekend as a long drive to this place for late breakfast. It's a coffee in a old building, vibes are good and they have spacious seating inside, staff was friendly. We ordered two taco combo, it comes with drink, chips and salsa, but if you wanna replace salsa with queso, it's extra and drink I wanted blended so it was extra, husband got drip. Taco were exceptionally good, tortillas are small, but protein are good portions and all the ingredients were fresh and together tasted awesome. Queso was just okay, it was thin and it dint had that spicy kick in it. Mocha was a disaster, even now I wonder if they forgot to add espresso, because it tasted like blended chocolate milk, I dint even taste a hint of coffee in it. Husband was no fan of drip either. Must try place for their tacos!!

This place was surprisingly good. Tacos and coffee seem odd, but the tacos were delicious. I got the korean one and the Kung Pao chicken one, and they were both delicious, but the Kung Pao was awesome. The flavor was tasty, and the peanuts on top went so well. I had a white mocha iced coffee, and while it was good, it was quite strong to me. The place is quite nice inside. The tables were a bit small for groups larger than 2, but it is technically a cafe, after all. People at the counter were nice as well. Seems like a nice chill place for younger people to hang out and enjoy some good food and drinks.

Arusha Coffee is a hidden gem in Belton- the atmosphere is wonderful, perfect for bringing a date, group of friends, or studying on a laptop. The taco special is the best deal: house drink (I got an iced matcha, two tacos, and chips w/ salsa (or queso for $1+). The bulgogi taco was very tasty and the salsa is a bit spicy- if I had to do it again, the queso would be my way to go.

A friend brought me the first time I came here. Today, I came back with my husband in tow. We had a little anniversary lunch, each ordering the 2 taco combo. My husband got 1 bulgogi taco and 1 fish & chips taco. I also ordered a bulgogi taco and the Sha shrimp taco. My only complaint would be that the chips for the queso were a teensy bit stale, but everything else was fantastic! Even the bite I got to try of my husband's fish & chips taco! We had 2 glasses of water (even the water is good here!) and 2 cocoas. I highly recommend the Salted Caramel hot chocolate. Two thumbs way up! Both hot chocolates were better than what you get from Starbucks. We enjoyed our little lunch date from the upper loft area. My husband commented on the same large art piece at the top of the stairs.

The tacos here (oddly for a coffee shop I know) were amazing! I got the tiki and the shrimp tacos both where exquisite. The coffees and smoothies I got for family of five were very well priced I also got dessert I got three macaroons and a coffee cake the coffee cake wasn't my best I've ever had but it was good overall great experience and will be returning to try more! read more

Always walked by this and saw people coming in and out and decided to finally go inside. Such an awesome atmosphere and lounging areas to enjoy your food/coffee. This coffee shop has a very nice environment! I loved all of their tea selection! We ordered one tea and it ended up tasting a little watered down, so then we asked if they would make us a new one, and they made us a much better tasting one. I loved playing pool at the pool table, and it has a very nice and chill environment. We are not from here, so we love visiting loco coffee shops, and definitely recommend this one. Also, their tacos are fantastic! Very good food, and great service! read more

High school kids make the visit less enjoyable. Kids seem to be breaking the pool table/making a lot of noise. Employee seems like she doesn't care about the kids messing around, making extremely loud noises. Coffee is subpar. Grounds are found throughout coffee. read more

I came here with a friend while we were in town for work. The building is absolutely stunning (exterior and interior), and has such a nice atmosphere. If I lived in the area, I would definitely spend a day here to work from home. I ordered a spicy chai and 2 oui oui tacos. They have quite an extensive taco menu, but I was surprised that they really don't have many veggie options. The chai was nice, but very slightly bland for my taste. The tacos were really good and filling, however, it said it came with spinach and some other veggies and there were literally no veggies (I think 1 piece of spinach and maybe some slivers). The sauce was very flavorful and I was happy with them overall, but I wish all of the ingredients listed on the menu would have actually been in the tacos. I would definitely come back here and try some other things. My friend loved her drink and said her meat tacos were ok. read more

First time here. I was excited to find a place in town with a large loose leaf tea selection. The possibilities in this place are enormous. Great products and space. Here's the BUT: like most of Bell County, the customer service pretty much stinks. Great tea selection but all of our choices were out of stock. Hmm. No size options offered; umm 12 oz. is what we got with tea you could see thru. Yep, terrible steeping time. One was a tea latte and milk was not steamed. What the heck? Lastly, $10 for two 12 ounce cups of unsatisfying hot tea? The man working the counter was all over the place and unnecessarily rushing things and a bit rude. Sigh... Won't be back. ***Well, since I obviously have gone back...I must update this review from my first encounter 3 years ago. Arusha's has gotten better every time I go back. I am a tea gal and at first glance it seems that Arusha's is a tea lover's dream. It wasn't quite, but they are working on it. I appreciate the few baristas they have hired that know their stuff. My tea is brewed correctly and courteously served. The addition of delicious international small meals is appreciated. The only reason I'm not at a 5th star yet is that my English black tea (a necessary tea staple in the world) is considered an exotic and priced accordingly. When Starbucks is a cheaper option, there is a problem. read more

No matter the size of coffee I seem to order, It feels like a feather weight. It's usually 3/4 full at best. Lots of foam. Not enough coffee. The tacos are awesome. Atmosphere is incomparable to the others. But their $5 cup of coffee really isn't worth it. read more

Second time visiting Arusha. Great coffee with several drip coffee options. Incredible soufflé full of flavor with spinach and artichoke cream cheese and the BEST shrimp tacos...so flavorful! Atmosphere is relaxed...great place to come enjoy a cup of coffee and a book, or meet a friend or even get some work done. This place is a must! Now that I am local I will visit regularly. read more

Famous with the UMHB student body and a great place to catch up with a friend or study. The coffee and teas are ok, but the tacos are gross. The flavors are too funky and just don't hit the palate right. The desserts are really good. It's also super hot, always. If you don't like to be warm this is not the place for you to go hang out. read more

First time in this coffee shop, even though it's been here a long time. I know it said tacos outside but I didn't quite understand and of course when you go in and try to read a menu up on the wall the people stare at you waiting for you to order so really can't decipher what there's there so I just ordered a fish and chips thinking it was fish and chips. Well it's all taco. Soft flour taco with the one fish piece, cabbage and french fries and some kind of delicious sauce. Was quite good beautifully presented. But I wondered why fish and chips was only five bucks. It turned out it's one taco on the other hand I asked for a glass of iced tea and they asked for one kind in their giant wall of teas and I just picked one in general once again not having time to study the menu cause they're staring at me and my glass iced tea was $5.85 and my taco was five dollars. Food was good. People were wonderful personable Shop is gorgeous little too much air conditioning for me, but it was beautifully decorated and very comfortable chairs and lots of little areas of tables, chairs and couchs for people. read more

Huge selection of teas! I can't have caffeine anymore so I was excited to see the variety of herbal teas. Desserts and baked goods were amazing. My daughter loved their tacos and says it has a good "vibe". She and her friends say it's their go to coffee shop just like in Friends! read more

There is nothing better happened to me since I moved from San Antonio to Temple than knowing this place. The collections of the coffee and tea can't be find anywhere else, the kindness of the owner and employees is beyond expectations, the super delicious tacos is so tasty. Coffee was so good. Went in with my husband because we had a little extra time that morning. We were pleasantly surprised not by the coffee, because personally to me coffee is coffee, but by the service and their pastry selection. The staff was very friendly and were very informative of their selections and seemed to be genuinely happy to be at work. read more

I love mom and pop places. I was making an appearance at Bell County Comic Con and started my day on Saturday with breakfast and some ice cappuccino. Perfect start to my day! I tried three different breakfast tacos and they were all amazing. The drink was superb. I was the only one there and had a nice chat with the owner who was the nicest. Downtown Belton is just awesome. I will be returning here next year when I return to Bell County Comic Con to promote my comic strip. read more

This is a little hidden gem. It has an enormous tea selection, tasty treats and small bites and coffee. I had chai tea and a macaron. Both were delicious! The environment is very laid-back as well. Great place to work or just relax. Great music too. So glad to know of this place when I'm working in the area. read more

This place is amazing! They have tea and coffee from all over the globe, you can virtually have 30 different cups of green tea and still have a variety of options to choose from. Every time I go to this place the coffee is delicious and the tea is perfectly balanced. One of my favorite tea's is a jasmine green tea, and their frappuccino's are sometimes even better than starbucks in my opinion. The barista's are friendly and knowledgeable of their drinks and offer snack items too. They sell a good selections of tea pots and cute mugs to boot, I fell in love with this place with my first drink over a year ago and i am repeat customer ever since. The ambiance there is great, there is always soft music playing, and plenty of room to relax on a cozy couch and enjoy your beverage, muffin, read or study. This place offers wi-fi as well which is awesome when you're a college student and want to go somewhere other than home or school to do homework. They have two pool tables there as well which is a nice touch when you need a break from school work or just want to hang out with friends. They also sell local honey from and are very friendly with the community. They even have several tv's that you can catch the game on too, but the feature i love the most is the rustic look to this building that was built in the 1800's. For starters the environment here is amazing. Being welcomed as you walk through the door is truly a great way to make customers feel welcomed. The staff is always smiling and very educated on choices of coffees and teas that are provided. I went with a blended matcha with lavender today and all I could think was "Why is this do delicious!?" I popped into this adorable little coffee shop last week as i was running errands in downtown Belton. The look of the place is so cute, located in a historical building, they have plenty of seating and local artists come to play music and read poetry at open mic night.
