    My "On Point" Ontour!!
    Rica S.

This is a great dealership...I have a 2022 Pleasureway Ontour 2.0 built on a 2021 Ford Transit 250...several other Ford dealers say they do not work on Motor Homes, not even a simple oil change/tire rotation! ...not these guys...they have now done 2 Oil Changes / Tire Rotations at reasonable prices...very professional and friendly staff as well. Who could ask for more?

I've purchased more than 30 cars in my lifetime. This was by far the easiest and most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had. In and out in less than 2 hours, including the test drive. It's a small, family run business where customer service is primary. There are Ford dealers closer to my home but after doing my research and talking with their sales department, the extra drive to the charming town of Arundel and this dealership was worth it. We live in Maine and therefore we shop in Maine to support local businesses. We could drive over state lines to save on sales tax but in a family on entrepreneurs and Maine business owners, we support other businesses in our own state first. I highly recommend this dealer and they do provide service as well. Sam was my sales person and he went out of his way to make sure everything was pleasant and that there were no long waits. The finance manager apologized for what he saw as slow service but I disagreed. Even when I have paid cash for my cars the buying experience has always been at least 4 hours, sometimes 8 hours. But this dealership is different. What you get from a small family run business is worth the drive to Arundel.

Parts department is really cool and they care! But nothing is in stock unfortunately so everything is a wait.

After end of warranty, all of a sudden there were many repairs that "needed" to be done. $7,000 in repairs later, I learned these were just manufacturer's recommendations, no evidence of being necessary repairs, and the service rep told me they don't even check to see if it's necessary. The last service was replacing my AC compressor. After that service, for the next 2 years until I sold the car, I had heat about 20% of the time, with the problem caused when switching from heat to AC and back. Tried to get them to fix it but they told me that unless I could PROVE the problem was caused by their service, I would have to pay for the repair. Almost $600 in "Diagnostics" later, still no idea of what the problem was. Because I couldn't prove they had caused it, it was never fixed. They told me many times during the course of ownership that they "take care" of their customers. That was not my experience and going there for service was a costly mistake. If they say you "need" a repair... ask for the proof that there actually is a problem!

I never heard anything until I went by in January and it was outside under snow and ice ( it had always been garaged). Against their wishes, they finally took it inside. The owner told me Tim Stentiford just up and left and " they lost all the paperwork and didn't know who owned it " (!). I looked in the office and there were 100's of file folders on the floor. They said they'd look again. Wouldn't the info be in their computer?? I asked how they could then sell it without documentation, as it was listed on their website. Blank stare. I went back in the Spring when the car was back outside and the condition it was in made me cry. The original paint was ruined and peeling, the original seats were torn open , and the running board was rusted off. I immediately hired a flatbed to remove it from that place and guess what,?---Alan lost the keys!! If you care about your vehicle, DON'T consign it to them!!!
