I bought a vehicle about 3 years ago from them for $40,000 in the first month I put 11,000 into it when I called them in the first 30 days to have them check what the problem was with it their excuses were we have COVID or we don't have a mechanic or we don't have time to get you in here You're going to have to bring it to a dealership once I got it fixed and called them and told them they needed to reimburse me for having it fixed at a dealership nobody called me back every time I called there was nobody for me to talk to their scam artists they do not help you if something goes wrong in the first 30 days with your vehicle and the vehicles they sell you are pieces of shit. They purchased a used vehicle from me and then cancelled their check - I had hard time getting the vehicle back and it was returned to me with parts having been stolen from it. The police were involved and were treated very rudely by the owner as well. I have never dealt with such dishonest and awful people in my life. read more

Honestly the worst experience I have had buying a vehicle. I was told by another dealership the car was definitely wrecked before and nothing was reported on the buyers guide. Very shady characters there. They won't work with you when you want to bring in a 3rd party mediator and even when they know they are wrong. I would strongly advise going to ANY OTHER dealer. I bought a Jeep cherokee from 5 Star about a year and a half ago. The sale went smoothly enough and I took the car back to Virginia, where I'm stationed. I noticed a few small dents on the roof and called to ask about it. The owner offered to see the car as soon as I was in town (which happened to be about a week later). He reviewed the areas I pointed out, and took the car in for repairs for a few days. When I got it back it was clear the damaged areas were entirely replaced. I got an amazing Jeep Patriot from these folks. Pete in particular was a very nice man and allowed us to test drive the car for a while. He gave us plenty of room to talk and discuss our offer, though there was no bargaining or negotiating the sticker price of the used vehicle. Everything felt right and we had been preapproved through CapitalOne Auto Finance, so we happily did an hour of paperwork and drove off the lot with a beautiful used car in excellent condition! If you're a first time car buyer--Run in the opposite direction! Salesman Peter took me for just what I was-A first time car buyer. That is about the only thing I can blame myself for though. Should have done my research but that set aside; When I arrived they had a car picked out that was within my price range. I drove 2 hours (one way) with my three young children to look at a newer used car. Pete had me take a test drive and I came back to the car lot and had decided it wasn't a bad pick (Mazda Cx-9). Had some damage to the passenger side door which salesman Peter told me would cost around 300-400$ to fix. I called my fiancé who was on a job and couldn't come to the lot that day. When I walked back inside Peter already had all the paper work ready in order for me to take a loan out for the car (should have known then) make a really long story short; Peter told me not to pay attention the big numbers on the paperwork I was singing. He also told me that it was ok to sign my fiancée's since he wasn't there and we were buying the car together. I did so and expected to get into the Mazda and be on my way. WRONG I took a tuna can loaner car home (without paperwork) and was told to come back the next day to pick up the car (ok I thought, that's fine) get down there the next day, with my three children, who'd now been in and out of cars for two days. Car still wasn't ready! Another 4 days, a threatening phone call to can the whole deal and more than enough frustration we finally had the car. I brought the paperwork home (my fiancée trusted Peter when he was told price) and my fiancée LOST IT. Me not knowing much of anything about buying a car didn't know why. First off; fiancée was told I was only one on loan, secondly, I was told it was ok to illegally sign his name, thirdly, those big numbers Peter told me to ignore was the cost of the car with interest. And after all of that I brought the car to a body shop to have the damage fixed from the previous owner in order to avoid rust/more damage. peters quote of 300-400$ ended up being a week without the car and a whopping $1200!!!!!!!! I now know to do my research or scummy people like this will take full advantage of being uneducated when it comes to car buying. The Mazda that we bought "together" now has power windows that stopped working 2 weeks after buying and now has major electrical issues. When I called the dealership about the Windows I was told "well we can give you half off the labor!" (WOW THANKS!) I've called the dealer back a week and a half ago because we are now at the point that we want to trade it in for something else. We have had nothing but issues with the car/dealership and I am now dealing with "Alex" who promised To call me back the next day and has yet too...we do not recommend this place. Do not even look at it when you drive by. Huge rip off and they are not customer oriented, they are money driven and their only interest is what you do (or do not) have in your wallet. read more

Stay clear of this place. If you do buy a car there, make sure everything that they promise to is repaired before you pick it up. My son ha a laundry list of issues with a truck that he was going to buy. They convinced him to take the truck and they were going to schedule an appointment to have the repairs done. After dodging my son for a couple weeks. He went to the dealership to see what was up. They told him the person he was dealing wit was no longer there an as far as they were concerned they owed him nothing. Pure scum! read more

The shadiest of shady people. Before we were married, my wife purchased a used Jeep grand cherokee, and was talked into the warranty. A few months into owning the vehicle, the engine blew. the warranty did not cover the because of "pre existing condition". My take is they took the money for a warranty, and never actually bought it, just pocketed the money. After threatening a lawsuit, they agreed to "buy back" the warranty and put a used engine in. Another month goes by, and the transmission fails. This time they told us they couldn't do anything because we didn't have a warranty lol. Again after threatening legal action, the agreed to put us in another vehicle. This vehicle also had many problems, and on one occasion when it was in for service there, they gave my wife a vehicle with bad breaks as a loaner! Called the state police to file a complaint, and was told they have been there to inspect on many occasions. Just stay away read more
