I would have preferred a greater variety of stalls. There were tons of jewelry places, which is great, and I liked the aesthetic, but not enough "art" vendors, though I guess you could argue jewelry is art. Also, space is kind of tight, like bumping heinies with the shopper in back of you tight. read more

I go here for the record guy and the t-shirts up in the front. The vinyl is always in great condition and the selection varies from rockabilly to hippity hop. I go straight to the disco, soul/R&B, and hip hop sections. Sometimes I look at the nerds who try and buy the latest Bell & Sebastian records with contempt because they always hog the listening booth a la High Fidelity. read more

It's small and VERY overpriced. There were so many people that it was almost impossible to actually shop. There are only a few vendors and while some of them had cool stuff their prices were pretty outrageous. I imagine that if this was done in a different location the prices may be a bit more reasonable but it's Williamsburg so I wasn't surprised. read more

First discovered this place when I came with a friend to Williamsburg and wanted to splurge on some thrift shopping. A lady who apparently had a very cute British accent approached us and handed us a flyer/card and we decided to check out the place. I spent a good 21 dollars on some jewelry. Great place if you want to find vintage, one of a kind sort of pieces. I bought a handcrafted ring for that was $10 dollars and 2 vintage rings for 5 and a locket for 6 dollars. I left very pleased. My friend bought a vintage watch that had the shape of a parallelogram rather than a circle or oval. They also sold cute dolls and t shirts. Canary Blue Vintage was there as well. Books were sold also, mostly they have jewelry and bags. Great place if you want to buy accessories. read more

I absolutely LOVE this place!! Went here a while ago after walking around Williamsburg... fabulous vendors with great and unique stuff. Walked away with a beautiful silver ring with a real argentine coin as the centerpiece. Today, stumbled upon it again (after forgetting about it for a while) and again so some really fabulous stuff. I pretty much wanted entirely too much to walk away with. Lucky for me, I've had to put the kabosh on shopping (hence forgetting about so many shops i love). I love finding new and unique jewelry and home decor items here. You get to meet the artists themselves, hear about their inspiration, and if you are lucky enough, snag a good deal on their merchandise! I have probably bought a majority of my unique jewelry "pieces" from here because I love being able to hear the stories behind the artists' creations. This is a great place to take out-of-town friends as well because they can walk away with great souvenirs that are uniquely Brooklyn. My only criticism is that this place can get pretty expensive - but then again, you're really coming here to support local artists... read more

I came here on a Saturday after noon, and it was pretty crowded. The market is indoor, and it's full of vendors selling basically all sorts of stuff ranging from accessories to clothes to vinyl records. Every vendor is unique and their products are sort of hippie and statement pieces, very representative of the Williamsburg culture. Some of them only take cash, so make sure you bring some with you instead of using the ATM in the market (it has a $2.50 transaction fee). One downside is that some of the stuff is very pricey and you can probably get them on Etsy for a cheaper price. Of course, if you want to buy something as a souvenir, this place is for that. Really nice place to go for a stroll through and see some really unique wares. Lots of pretty stuff like book clocks and really funny profane jewellery. Everything is really pricey and it is very hipstery. Some of the vendors are also very paranoid about pictures because they think someone will try to copy them and start selling on etsy. read more

Very cool stuff - bought an old Underwood #10 typewriter for a good deal - something I had been looking for. Had some other unique stuff as well - lots of clothing, hand-made jewelry, pens, etc. It's in a nice part of Williamsburg with lots of shops around. Another plus of this place is they let me in with my dog which is an automatic star in my book. I recommend it especially on a rainy day. read more

Was not air conditioned, so it was hard to stay. But there was a great mix of clothes, jewelry (ding ding ding), accessories, and home decor. AND a bathroom. Food outside too - mac and cheese, Frugan baked goods, tater tots, and more baked goods. Would consider coming back if they changed up the vendors. read more

This is a warehouse market full of vintage and handmade goods that are very cool but extremely overpriced. Of course, it wouldn't be vintage or cool if it wasn't so expensive. There was some really cool and unique jewelry that I would have loved to take home as well as a lot of stuff that was fun to look at. You can go through everything within half a hour because it's not too big. If I had a ton of money, then a lot of the stuff would be worth the prices because much of it was really awesome. LOVED Artists + Fleas in Brooklyn! The vendors had all sorts of different, unusual stuff, the place is inside so you're protected from the elements and it's not too crowded. Don't wait to go to the bathroom there however, there's only one stall open to the public and the line can take forever. Be sure to dig around and look for something awesome and cheap, prices for stuff were very reasonable. Great time! read more

Usual stop on saturday or sunday strolls through williamsburg. They have a DJ that plays great funk music and doesn't hurt the hangover too bad. Best booths to check out are the old-school business card press, he's got stories to tell. On the other hand, good luck trying to get the real story out of the bookman as he manages to get brand new copies of books hot off the press that are at least $15 at B&N and even pre-release versions and only sells them for only 5 bucks a pop. Great place to shop for a variety of things from vintage shoes/clothing to beautiful, original and/or handmade jewelry (Especially MOLLY ROSE POST JEWELRY!! =p ) and a wide assortment of creative home decor items. There is even a little snack counter with good sandwiches and cookies. Great place to shop or just to wander around if you've got some time to kill. read more

You can find some cool items here but be careful of over priced junk... There are some fun artists that have booths and cheap and fun jewelry makers. It's worth a walk through especially if you are visiting for that full Williamsburg feel this place has got it. If you can't stand hipsters then run away as fast as you can. read more

Nice place to find unique gifts ,a great atmosphere, hipster vibe ... It is indoors so it's definitely a good choice for the cold/rainy days. Would always bring visiting friends here! This market is fun to walk around and look at pretty clothes, but I found much of the vintage clothes to be way overpriced. I was in NY for 4 days and didn't buy a thing (except for the "Triple Erection Collection" Obama condoms off a girl on the street... they're Hope flavored) until my friend took me here. Ironically enough, I bought a reworked vintage dress that is To-Die-For from a designer that sells her stuff at the Candy Store in the Mission (San Francisco) which is about 2 blocks from my apt :) She is also opening a new store at 24th and Valencia early December, can't wait!! The dress was $45, marked down from $98 and totes worth it. Also found a pair of awesome short, black motorcycle boots for $88, marked down from $160. There was SO much cute, cute jewelry and awesome vintage finds! Some of the stuff was pretty pricey, but as you can see you can definitely find some deals. I really liked that so many of the designers were so friendly and just struck up conversations with me and took all the time to describe every detail of their work. I'll definitely be stopping by here again on my next trip to NY. read more
