The hostess will ask if you want to be seated inside or outside. HK humidity is no joke. No way would I be able to sip a hot one outside. The AC inside is perfect even with the open entrance. The furniture has that old Chinese antique with lots of 80s tchotchkes. Here is what we ordered: - Longan Honey Latte (iced & hot) - Black Sugar Latte (hot) All of our drinks were excellent as was the service. Great place to relax and chit chat with your friends. Halfway was our occasional morning base, with solid Western breakfast fare: scrambled eggs on sourdough or avocado toast with smoked salmon and a solid latte and matcha latte. The artful plating stands out, with food and drinks served on vibrant enamelled porcelain with intricate designs. That said, breakfast here veers towards the more basic: scrambled eggs on toast with a side salad and nicely plated pink mayonnaise. The sourdough bread was a good multigrain, but overall a surprisingly standard rendition of a breakfast open sandwich. In all, a nice spot with friendly service, a modern setting, good atmosphere and solid a-okay cafe fare that is beautifully plated.

Only a stone's throw away from the Olympia Station, this place is so small that it's easy to miss. For folks looking for a quiet place to chat or some caffeine with a side of WiFi, this place fits the bill. Bear in mind, The Brew Job is no Starbucks. There is no indie music or up and coming artists playing in the background, or a fancy gift card for future purposes. The layout is narrow with super small tables and an even smaller tiny counter. Conversations are bound to be overheard, the smell of the coffee will permeate the room, and patrons are typically in and out constantly. Thankfully the staff is both efficient and friendly. It's a cash only operation, but it's nice knowing they also take Octopus cards. While the cappuccino and ice coffee are my go-tos (under $40), the real motivation for being here is their reasonably fast WiFI and solid, intimate meeting space. There is a parking garage across the street and some bicycle parking areas for commuters. Don't come here in a group of course, but for solo sipping and/or some intimate conversation, this is a quality neighborhood spot.

It is quite a small place and recommended to groups larger than 3 people. The espresso is quite mild and slightly sour with a tense of fruit aroma. This is definitely a good place to slow down in a busy city and the place to go for people who appreciate third generation coffee.

When your coffee is "naked" so to speak, your coffee house experience becomes becomes very quickly about the quality of the bean and the customer service very quickly. There are many hip, trendy coffee shops around Hong Kong and I have tried many of them. There are some good coffee spots around town. But having consumed maybe 50 cups of coffee at this Pacific Coffee and others around Hong Kong, I think of the brand Pacific Coffee like the reliable older sibling to the coffee houses of Hong Kong. As with an older sibling, you kind of know what you are getting. There is no nothing fancy or unexpected with an older sibling...they wear the same clothing style, they can be counted on and they are not fancy. They might not be the hippiest or trendiest sibling in the bunch, but they are consistent. Pacific Coffee is just that. Consistent quality, they are on all over the place and they are not Starbucks (no offense Starbucks, your coffee can be too intense for me!). The bean at Pacific Coffee is a milder bean and kind of like a great Pinot...very drinkable every day. This particular Pacific Coffee is in a great location on Queens Road in my hood, has a lot of space to park yourself and read and they remember who I am and what I drink. As such, from a plain coffee drinker, this place easiy checks the two boxes that I am personally looking for in a coffee house experience.

One could argue that it's split into three sections: the front area that has the coffee, tea, and other baked goods, the middle area that has one small table and a winding stairwell to what I assumed is a stock room, and the back section that has a big rectangular table that's good for big parties. There are many bookcases, paintings, statues, and random knickknacks around to create that homey feel. Because of the unbearable temperatures, I ordered an iced flat white and it was a surprisingly large portion. Even to the very last drop, the flat white had a deliciously strong coffee flavor and was not watered down at all. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Because of the location (7ish minute walk from the C2 exit of the Prince Edward MTR station), I'm not sure I would frequent this place but if you happen to be in the area then this is definitely worth visiting.
