HAPPY NATIONAL COFFEE DAY!
% Arabica has gloriously smooth, robust lattes with a subtle nutty chocolate undertone that is accentuated and balanced by their fragrant and creamy milk foam. All their aromatic hot lattes are beautifully decorated and it should not come as a surprise since their global head barista Junichi Yamaguchi held the Coffee Fest Latte Art World Champion title and provides the initial training. Junichi endorses a holistic approach to espresso drinks: 'Latte art is only a decoration. What matters is getting the espresso right to start with,' he says. 'The cup is the frame. Everything you put in that frame needs to work to make the customer smile.'
% Arabica has cultivated a passionate and enthusiastic global following who share a love of quality bespoke coffee and timeless elegant design! Their full name is Arabica Coffee Roaster & Farm as they own a coffee farm in Kona, Hawaii. The cafe quickly gained a following for its excellent coffee, brewed with beans that are roasted in-house (each cafe has its own roastery). It's also well-known for its beautiful, minimalist design. Each cafe is designed with a luminous % sign that welcomes visitors to a stunning space of clean lines, natural light and sand-coloured Japanese cypress wood, and white custom-designed Slayer Espresso machines. This location is also paired with a perfect view of the harbour that you can enjoy while sipping on your drink.
The % logo was designed as a pared-down symbol of perfectly formed coffee cherries on a branch. The walls are adorned with glass shelves displaying paper bags of % Arabica coffee beans as well as a metallic map of the world that is constant across all their shops around the world. The map represents the company's vision to expand globally and allow their baristas to 'see the world through coffee', find themselves and then challenge the world with what they are good at. The store also has merch available! read more
