Love coming to Articulture Designs for the gifts, planets, and decor you find here are seriously one-of-a-kind and unique! This spot is located right in our neighborhood and is such a delight to come in (be sure to make an appointment online for your private shopping) and browse. I end up getting many friends gifts here as I know they will be truly valued and gift wrapped with care. Also I highly recommend joining their rewards program as each time you buy something here you gain $1 for every $10 that you spend here. During COVID there has never been a better time to come shop here. Book a private 1-hour shopping appointment either via phone or by email. Be sure to bring your mask and use the hand sanitizer when you walk in as YOU WILL want to touch and pick up everything they have here! No worries if you would rather shop online - they have everything listed on their website that they have in-store. Definitely worth doing a curbside pickup as I had a super easy and fast curbside pickup when I picked up a few gifts for a friend and for myself. Be sure to check out their calendar of events. They have a bunch of cool and fun DIY classes you can take and even offer virtual classes like Plant Care 101! All events are monthly and they can even host a birthday party or other parties if you inquire which is an excellent idea to have the whole backyard space they got for yourself, friends, and some friendly plants. read more

More like a museum than a shop. By appointment only during the pandemic so you will have the entire place to yourself. If were a wealthy eccentric, this is the first place I'd come to buy beautiful plants, art, trees, living walls, and nick nacks for my fabulous mansion. They host events, and used to have lectures and live music. Creating a terrarium or other plant based crafts was always a weekend event, which can now be done online. read more

What a great shop. Bought a plant there for my girl. Three days after the purchase the leaves started to turn black. Emailed Caroline about the issue. Sent pictures. They do great work. Front of commercial building went from worst to first. I should have taken the "before" picture. The after picture looks picture perfect. They took great effort to make sure the plants they brought took root. They visited a month ago and the 91 Rainey Building's plants already have new leaves!! Love this place so much! I took a mini-succulent wall class here awhile back, and I knew when I got married that this was the place I wanted to create the bouquet and boutonniere. They did such a fantastic job, and were so great to work with. I loved that once my wedding was over, I was able to plant the succulents and keep the air plants so they can live on and remind me of my special day. read more

I have followed this shop after it first appeared on Central Texas Gardener on PBS. Since I a relocating out of the Austin area, I was looking for a unique living gift for a close friend. Finally made the trip to Articulture and realized what a tremendous resource here in Austin. All staff were friendly, informative and helpful in answering a wide Randell of questions. Thankfully I was able to find a unique one of a kind wall mounted terrarium which will be the perfect gift for my best friend! I'd give Articulture 10 stars if I could!! THE most genuine people I have met in Austin! My sister and I did their Aloe Vera class and had an absolute blast! We showed up late due to traffic, and they were so welcoming and eager to help us catch up. Their gift shop is full of modern, bohemian terrariums, planters, and other gift items. Outside they have plenty of plants to choose from. If you can't decide on what you need/want, the staff is very knowledgeable! I discovered this place a while back and couldn't believe how freakin cute it was! I have wanted more plants in my home but I have a black thumb and didn't wanna kill everything I bought. I took pictures of the spaces I wanted plants and told the woman I was working with (started w a K?) that I'm terrible at keeping plants alive. She was beyond helpful and patient with me and told me exactly how to care for, and when to water my new plant friends! It's a little pricey but as you can see you're not getting a small/ half dead plant. I could spend hours walking around this shop. read more

My husband and I went to one of the DIY classes and brought home a unique centerpiece for our dining room table. My guests marvel at it's creativity and can't believe that I made it myself. Of course I was coached through the whole process and had a myriad of succulents and colorful additions to choose from. We recently had a family birthday party at Articulture Designs. The whole experience was so wonderful. Monique and Brittany did a beautiful job with decorations. The ambience is so creative. I can't wait to go back. Worked with Monique to plan our ceremony backdrop, table decorations, and wedding party accessories. All turned out perfect. The succulent boutonnieres and corsages were so good we are looking into preserving them. In addition, the ceremony backdrop absolutely blew us away and was better than expected. I recently had Monique at Articulture Designs create a few centerpieces for one of my events. She turned out some incredible arrangements with succulents, air plants, and mosses, with a bit of fresh floral mixed in. The containers she used were rustic and organic... varying from thick ceramic bowls to small hollowed out tree trunks. The guests were blown away. I'm so glad I opted out of traditional floral that typically only lasts a few days and went with a modern and creative alternative with a much longer plant life. read more

I bought a terrarium from Monique's website, I never received a verification of purchase and contacted them a few weeks later when I didn't receive my purchase. They stated they didn't have in stock. I waited another month for the item, when I received it, it came without care instruction, it was a different size than what I bought and I was greatly disappointed. I contacted Monique to find out why it was so much smaller than indicated on the website, when she called me back, she was rude, snarky and very unpleasant. Be very weary of Monique and her business as she does has a very difficult personality and has a very misleading website. Btw, I have to give a star to make this review, otherwise I would leave 0 stars. read more

I am so impressed with Articulture! Monique designed the most beautiful terrarium for me - even taking into account my specific requests. It's like a little world on my desk! I especially appreciate that she not only designs with live plants, the treasures she creates incorporate eco-friendly and organic materials like recycled glass sand.
