This place is god awful. I have been here twice, and have yet to be severed my food in under a hour. Was just there on 5/27/19 to give them a second chance, since my gf loves the place, and it took a hour and 20 minutes to get our order, and it was already cold by the time it was at the table. This is after our server not only spilled coffee all over our table, but didn't clean it up or even provide us with a rag to do it ourselves. As if all of that weren't bad enough, I became violently ill within 1 hour of eating at Arthur's, and had the pleasure of pulling over on the freeway to allow for their trash food to exit my body. I tried to contact Arthur's to warn them, but was hung up on. Definitely will never go to this sh*thole again. read more

This is the best breakfast I've ever had! They pair a bunch of crazy flavors that sound weird but pair so nicely together. OK, if you want a simple pancake and scrambled eggs, there are myriad other places within walking distance where you can get your fix. Don't complain that they don't serve waffles here if you can easily get them at 10 other places down the block. I had brunch here with my parents and we thought the food was refreshing and delicious, obviously made with high quality ingredients. I had the avocado smash, which was avocado and herbs spread on toast with kale, heirloom tomatoes, poached eggs, and cheese. It was healthy, flavorful, and I didn't feel like I needed to go back to bed immediately after finishing it. My parents devoured their crab benedict, the sauce was light and creamy with a hint of citrus and the crab was piled high. We finished it all off with a piece of carrot cake that was served with sliced strawberries and had some bits of pear? or other moist fruit baked into the bottom. It really was perfection. We go to Circa down the street almost every Sunday but we will now be adding Arthur's into our brunch rotation because we really enjoyed the food. The service was very friendly and we did not feel that we waited any longer than we would have at any other restaurant. I've read previous reviews and I'm thinking maybe the restaurant had some kinks to iron out at the beginning and they've hit their stride a bit more now, because I had zero complaints. Actually, just one minor thing- We are all on the scrawny side and have very bony butts, sitting in the booths on the hard surface was not the most comfortable for us. My only suggestion to the owners would be to get some cushions for the booths for diners who have bony butts. read more

Lots of excitement about this neighborhood restaurant but one breakfast is all you need. The food is overpriced (which I could live with but it's also terrible). Bacon and eggs with shredded hashbrowns were delivered (took too long) cold. Even the toast was mediocre. The hash browns were returned for something warmer but the next plate was also cold. The food is very good. There's a wide selection of mixed drinks and wine and good beer on tap. The coffee is excellent and I'm quite a snob about it, much better than Starbucks. Prices are bit more expensive than Luna Cafe, but what the put on the plate is way better and you can pass on dishes with expensive ingredients like the delicious Crab Benedict if you are on a budget. My companions item was half as much and very good too. Service is a bit slow, but I really didn't mind because we were sitting outside and wanted to linger. The Grilled cheese is to die for!!! And possibly the best omelettes I've ever consumed. I love the atmosphere and the staff are superb.

So much better than the previous restaurant that was here. The interior is great and refreshed. The service and menu are also excellent. It is new so people need to be a little less sensitive with the reviews I think. There was only one misstep on my visit. One of the breakfasts we got wasn't very good, the Chorizo bake. The eggs were way overcooked and the chorizo was super dry and bland. Also looking at all the other dishes it appeared that the non-breakfast items looked the tastiest which is odd for a place with "Breakfast" in the name. Everything else with the meal was tasty. Give the place a few more weeks and I think it will be a good addition to the neighborhood. read more

I was really disappointed with this place. It wasn't terribly busy but we had to wait over 40 minutes to get the food! The customer service was non-existence as well. We had to ask for creamer, a napkin (she gave us 2 napkins for a party of 3!), some small plates even though we told her we were sharing everything. The food was subpar. The best was the bacon Sammie. The bacon itself was good and the toast was nicely toasted... but the breakfast potatoes were cold. We also got the French toast-- nothing spectacular about this... a little chutney but they could've used some more fruits. We also got a dish (I forgot the name) with basically a ball of cream cheese rolled in some nuts. It was fine... but it came with bread that could've use some toasting. The food was super yummy. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because we had to wait forever for our food. We waited 25 minutes for our order (grilled sandwiches and salad should not take that long). The food was waaaay overpriced for the quality. I was poured a drink when I sat down and after finishing it I waited over half an hour until I was asked if I wanted another drink, even after they had taken my empty glass. My wife had to flag down a bartender and ask for another drink after waiting for 10 mins. There was 3 bartenders and not that many customers and they were not paying attention to the patrons. One bartender was either drunk or high and could not even run my tab but had to have his coworker run it for him. I hope they improve. read more

We are so excited to have a new restaurant in the North Admiral in West Seattle first impressions -Australian inspired cuisine is incredibly delicious and savory. Lamb was mouth watering and trout salad with pickled asparagus to die for! The ambience is very modern and chic, simple and elegant decor with open windows and dim lighting. One word - highly recommend for just a drink, breakfast or dinner! They have a full espresso bar as well! Locally owned, chef on staff, will definitely come back to keep this little gem open! read more

The mussels were wonderful, but I had to send my burger back three times (I'm not even picky) because they kept forgetting to put the toppings on that were advertised on the menu. Forgot the kale, forgot the walnuts, forgot the cheese. And after all said and done, the meal wasn't great. I know it's a newer place and they are working out the kinks. Have gone few times since my original review and I've got to say that Arthur's has fixed the initial kinks of their service and added great menu items. This morning I had their crab Benedict subbed gluten free, which was tasty and a hearty portion. In other visits have had their breakfast bowl and Seattle salad (add chicken), both so good! I tried Arthurs' for the first time recently for take out. The person taking my order was very helpful and friendly. The service was prompt. The food however was inedible. The salad I ordered was overpriced for what you get and they did not bother to remove the sticker from the thinly sliced apple in the salad which meant I had to dig through every single piece to remove every sliver of sticker. I'm surprised I had the patience to do this, maybe because I paid $16 for this salad. If you want a good salad, go to Heartbeet Cafe. When I brought this to the attention of the owner/manager, I got zero response from them. So in my opinion poor customer service and food I recommend that you pass on. Loved this place, the mushroom benedict was very good and different. The bloody mary with the bacon salt rim was exactly what I needed on a Sunday morning :) The sammy's were pretty small, I would recommend ordering 2, I was surprised the bar tender (also our server) didn't recommend that the guys I was with get 2 orders, it was not even close to enough food for them. Welcome to West Seattle, Arthur's! I have to admit it was tough walking past one of our favorite Admiral dinner places to get to you, but it was worth it! Our server Craig was very friendly with great menu suggestions. Dinner came out promptly and with great timing from salad to entree. We were happy to have a new breakfast option in North Admiral and initially were excited by the creative and visually attractive menu items. Unfortunately, this restaurant fell short on most fronts. The attractive space is loud and the service was slow and a little inattentive. Although the food looked good, all five of us felt that the flavors were bland, and did not mesh well together. The eggs across our party were consistently over-cooked. The polenta cake side was creative but flavorless. The last restaurant to occupy this space was both unimaginative and poorly executed. Arthur's is clearly trying, but needs to make some quick and significant changes to achieve its potential as a brunch destination. read more

The food is impeccable, a modern twist on the classics I know from my visits to Southern Australia. Soon, the menu will be joined by meat pies and savory delights. Arthur's is starting out its life as a great addition to the West Seattle Food Scene. Unpretentious, relaxed, easy going and well executed. I sampled the Classic Aussie Breaky, and was not disappointed. It reminded me of my last trip to the Barosa and K.I. in Australia. I've been to both brunch and happy hour at Arthur's and both times were amazing. The food and wine are both incredible, and it's obvious that they make everything from scratch using incredibly fresh ingredients. The space is gorgeous and bright, the servers very friendly. For brunch I had the mushroom benedict without the hollandaise and it was perfection - the polenta cake is really delicious and it came with an incredible selection of fancy mushrooms. Everyone at the table was thrilled with their food. For happy hour, I had a glass of rose, which was just perfect, a hummous plate and the mushroom egg bake. Again, excellent and fresh. We left feeling full and happy. We just love this space and plan to be back. For the food you are getting, I find the prices to be very reasonable. It is a little bit of an unusual menu - but in a good way. read more

I really want to like Arthur's, and I've been at least 8 times to give it a fair shot. I think I'm finally ready to throw in the towel. My consistent complaint is that my eggs are always undercooked. Like, a sunnyside up egg with a totally clear and mucous-textured white. Last time it happened I pointed it out to our server and asked for a new egg, and her reply was "that's how sunnyside up eggs are supposed to be". Uhhh.... wrong AND rude about it to boot. :( read more
