OK so let me first say that I have called this company several times to find out information about…read morethe classes they offer. I feel it is important to check service levels not only by using the service, but "interviewing" the potential service provider. Each call resulted in ok service over the phone until this last one. I called CC & Company because I heard that they were one of the best in the area. I think the key here is "in the area". Does not mean best of the best. The classes are not actual dance classes for the little kids. Creative Movement is not something I am interested in. My children can get that at a day care. I want a dance company to provide REAL dance classes. They say that they are not able to teach kids so young. Well I could put well over a thousand youtube links that say that yes younger kids can be taught and be exceptional. Just disappointing that the daytime classes are not available and the variety is truly not there. When I asked the person on the phone for a referral of a studio in Raleigh that taught classes during the day for 4 year olds, she told me that she did not know of any other studios. This company has been open for how long and they don't know of any other companies. Just a tip. Customer service is not just about getting customers to buy from you, but being able to provide them what they need. That is what brings lifetime customers. I say CC & Company needs to really step it up and get with the market of younger children and the talent they have. Get on the same level as Disney, America's got Talent, youtube, and many others who recognize that there is talent before 5.

Unlike many dance studios, it's a place that fosters CONFIDENCE, DEDICATION, and PASSION-- which are amazing, lifelong qualities to instill in kids and especially teens. Kirstie, the director, is such a joy to be around and has created a truly unique and special place. Note only Kirstie, but all of the teachers too are committed to the students and create a very positive learning environment. Finally, the students are wonderful providing positive support to one another and put in a great deal of hard work. As I said before, the studio is truly a gem. Send your children or take class yourself as NCDI. It's a great find -- helped me remember why I love dancing again.

My mom attended workouts here, but she also went out of her way to support this business professionally. Through her marketing work within the shopping district, she helped them with marketing videos, events, and other promotional efforts. Unfortunately, she later lost her job and shortly afterward had to undergo emergency surgery. During an already incredibly difficult time, she called AKT Brier Creek to cancel her membership and explained her circumstances. She was told that she HAD to physically come into the studio to cancel and that they would not allow her to do it over the phone. My mom lives an HOUR away from this location and, after emergency surgery, was in no position to make a two-hour round trip just to cancel a gym membership. She also wasn't going to be physically able to make that drive anytime soon. Instead of offering her a reasonable alternative or showing even a little compassion, they continued attempting to charge her card and ultimately sent the account to collections. When I contacted the studio myself and asked about their cancellation policy, I couldn't even get a clear answer. Instead of transparency or accountability, I was met with defensiveness. This is exactly the kind of business practice people deserve to know about before signing a contract. If someone loses their job, undergoes emergency surgery, lives an hour away, and CALLS to explain that they physically cannot come in, there should be some reasonable way to cancel a membership without eventually being sent to collections. Policies are one thing. Refusing to work with someone facing legitimate extenuating circumstances is another. My mom supported this business when she was in a position to do so. When she needed basic understanding in return, this is how she was treated. If you're considering joining AKT Brier Creek, I strongly recommend getting every detail of their cancellation policy in writing before signing anything. At the end of the day, this experience made it feel like collecting $$$ mattered more than treating a person with basic decency.

CDC has a strong community where older dancers encourage the younger dancers. Teachers are exceptional! CDC encourages and helps dancers find what they are good at and supports and fosters ways to grow children! This is a special place! There are three performance companies for the more serious dancer and recreation classes of genres for those style dancer. CDC"s gift is that they have performance companies and strong technique which has a blessing for my daughter. Thank you CDC for all you do for our dancers! My oldest daughter has been enrolled in Acro, Ballet and Jazz and excelled tremendously in her skills during that time. She attended a summer dance program with a friend and excelled beyond the expectations of the teacher although it was only a week and I know it was due to her time spent at Stage Door. Chasta and Willis are very invested in developing a quality and nurturing environment for all the students and it showed on all levels of my daughters' participation in the studio. We also participated in the Christmas parade and the end of year recital and it was extremely organized even though there were hundreds of participants.
