I have been going to these classes for years and I am so happy to get my Latin dance and exercise fix at Erica's classes. The choreography is amazing, the energy fills the room and what I love is that it is a no-frills class in a simple gym for all shapes and sizes. She also does not play traditional Zumba music all the time and I love the mix of hip-hop, Afro beats, Soca and Beyonce. Erica's smile lights up a room and her energy is contagious. She is in demand as an instructor and you can tell form her Zumba Zin tours that she is always on the move. She also teaches cycle classes at Sync Studio and hosts boot camps at E fit 4 life. Erica's mom and close friends run the check-in area and you sign up online at Mind Body. There are deals offered where you can stock up on classes or buy them for $8 each. Erica also has themed birthday dance parties on the last Thursday of the month en special events for Halloween and other holidays. She runs an email list for the 2000 attendees of her classes and sends out announcements via email and Facebook. Erica also does the halftime show at the Charlotte basketball game and has lead dance parades at the Caribbean Festival in Raleigh. It brought me to tears by the end. The pure amount of emotion and being around a group of women elevated my spirit so much. Candles were lit all around and each of us got our own Aphrodite candle, wax melts, and other goodies. Then top add to that, we made our own bath salts and had a dance class! Suffice it to say, today was an amazing day. I've never loved myself more. The women at TML Turn Me Loose Fitness are so amazing and I will continue to take classes there until I drop lol.

The class lasted 30 mins but within that 30mins the class did a stretch/ warm up exercise, punching exercise and a work cool down sessions. What i really liked was in between punching the bag, the staff would go up to different people and basically give them a break from the punching bag and have us punch the hand mitts to basically have a better form of aiming when swinging at a target hahaha. This was definitely an amazing experience and a great way to work out and I'm glad that me and my friend Mathew was about to come out and experience it. I really enjoyed the elliptical, leg press, leg curl, Ab and bicep curl machines here. At the time I visited the space was not crowded which is greatly appreciated. This allowed me to freely use whatever I needed without the crowds and waits. I love this for me in any gym. The amenities are great. The indoor pool, sauna and hot tub are a really nice touch here. I look forward to returning to try out some of these options. As far as the price point it's up there in price in comparison to my Y membership. I think for the peacefulness and quality of equipment in this space - it may be well worth it if it's meet one's expectations. My only point out here was some cardio machines could use some dusting. They could also use some new towels here or some fabric softener would help soften the towels. I recommend bringing your own towels.

I've been to four in the last week and a half, and looking forward to my classes scheduled! I've done Zumba classes and spin classes (Flywheel), but nothing compares! The two instructors I've taken classes with are amazing. Mike, the head coach is the BEST! I try to get all of my classes with him but would definitely give the others a chance as I'm sure they're all wonderful. It's very much so like a community and every single person that works there has been genuinely kind & helpful. They obviously tried to sell me a membership, but, duh. They weren't pushy about it and were super knowledgeable and helpful when it came to the options! Well, of course I gave in & glad I did! The thing I love the most is how the classes work. It's cardio, rowing, and lifting/floor intervals. You burn so many calories in the hour long class and it's actually fun. The music is always on point. I highly recommend Orangetheory, at least give it a try!

Joining OTF has let me change myself for the better and get involved with a community I really love and am proud to be a part of. The staff and members at this particular location blow the others out of the water. If you want to know about the workout, I'd recommend just trying one for free. This is an intense workout, however EVERYTHING can be modified and the coaches are really great about helping with this if you need it. I lost 15 pounds in the first year I joined, so it's definitely effective if weight loss is your intention. Beyond that, it's great for developing functional fitness for "more life" as we say. Being petite I've noticed that I've gained a lot of confidence in several aspects of everyday life by building strength and endurance at OTF. I think of myself as more of an athlete than I ever have and I can't wait to get back in there once stay at home is over.
