I discovered the place through my friend, Greg Buchold. I had been admiring a Mardi Gras mask and wreath that he had put on his door and he told me about the place. I went looking for Mardi Gras stuff but was blown away by the extensive collection of cookbooks and design books that they sell, all discounted from retail list prices. But there was much much more. You get one hour to decorate your bear and if you're local you have a few days to pick it up once it dries. Our bears were $85 and shipping was $15. The delivery was smooth and my baby made it to me without any issues. I named her Fern :-). I'd definitely recommend this as a fun activity that's not liquor or food focused. In my opinion, these kind of experience-based services should prioritize offering sublime customer service but this missed the mark for us. It doesn't make a lot of sense to take down our information just for us to have to actively follow up to get confirmation to pick up products we already paid for. I found multiple items that I would've wanted to paint and take home. During the time there, Mark made sure that our group was well taken care of, understood the use of the brushes and tools, and shared fun stories and jokes while passing by us every once in a while.
