My friend and I wandered around for awhile because there is SO MUCH TO LOOK AT. Possibly due to Covid-19 and everyone wanting to redo their homes during this quarantine, many areas seemed bare... especially the outdoor area. I found some items I was looking for: a pillow, some baskets, an outdoor rug and a piece of wall art. Prices are great and most of my stuff was on clearance! My friend had purchased everything for me as a house warming gift and I needed to return the rug because it was too small. I waited in like 20 minutes, got up to the register and was told I needed the card used to make the return. I explained my friend from out of town bought it for me and it was too small. They would NOT take the return without the card used... They didn't even let me just have store credit. Very disappointing. So my friend won't be back for another 6 weeks and then we can go make the return. Ugh.

My mom saw something she was interested in purchasing and one lady told her she would see when she was done with someone pretending to shop! When that lady told her she was done she proceeded to help someone else as if my mom wasn't even there! Meanwhile another lady was sitting behind another counter doing nothing and said nope we don't have it without even giving eye contact! I walked over to the rack and saw they did have the item! My mom really wanted the item although I was livid about how rude and nasty they were! That will be the last dime they get out of anyone I know! They lost over $1450 retail value of handmade jewelry from me (Priced when silver was still less than $40 an once). When I had gone in to pick them up after 3 months because I needed to reprice them because of the rise in silver prices, they told me that they never priced them or put them out on display, and that they now could not find them. The owner (who pretended to just be an employee) kept telling me that the employee that i had dealt with dropping them off was actually the owner and I had to deal with her. I have returned to the store multiple times over the last month to try and figure out how to handle this but have been constantly lied to, misdirected, and attempts to gas light me into thinking i never left them or already picked them up. My receipts do not reflect that, and the actual owner (Tammy) claimed they didn't keep any kind of receipts for consignments. The owner has consistently tried to blow me off and was not even willing to compensate me the wholesale price or even offer any kind of compensation at all and told me to take her to court. It had been over a month since I first went in to try to collect my merchandise. It was not until I wrote a scathing review that they were magically found. My items have now been returned to me. Christi, the employee at the store has been as helpful and courteous and kind as anyone could ask. She went out of her way to try and find out what happened to my merchandise. Tammy Aillon, the owner, on the other hand, lied to me, hid behind her employees claiming they were the owner, whom i needed to talk to but were not there that day (on multiple days)., she literally hid from me in the back of the store to avoid having to deal with the issue. And when I finally pinned her down as the owner and person actually in charge, she basically told me to it was my loss and to take her to court if i wanted to do anything about it. Christi offered to try to find some way to pay me back, because the owner is such a POS, but I was not going to take her money when it is the store owner's responsibility. And the fact that Tammy was even willing to consider letting her do that instead of stepping up and taking responsibility as the owner, makes me sick at how easily she would throw her own employees under the bus. And to try to get someone making slave wages at your store to take on the financial responsibility of your store's mistake is just reprehensible. I am also disabled and try to sell my art to try to make a little extra just so i can survive and afford my meds and what not. As a business owner, to tell someone struggling just to survive day to day, or anyone for that matter, that you lost nearly $1500 of their merchandise, you've had over a month to find it, and that they just have to deal with the loss is despicable at best. Kristi, thank you for doing all you could. Tammy, I hope you have the day you deserve. And now they even have the audacity to be advertising for a boutique type store looking for artisans and what not. Calling All Vendors! Hidden Treasures Pearland Boutique Market Launching January 2026 We're excited to announce the upcoming launch of the Hidden Treasures Boutique Market -- and we're looking for 25-30 unique vendors to join us! If you're a small business owner, artisan, or boutique seller looking to showcase your products in a vibrant, welcoming space, this is your opportunity to shine. Applications are now open for our January 2026 debut. Location: 3218 E. Broadway St., Pearland, TX 77581 Phone: 281-485-0404 Stop by to inquire in person or reach out for more details. No artisan can give up 50% of their sale and not lose money just in materials! I will never do business here again. Would not recommend it to anyone else to sell anything through them unless you are just desperate to get rid of it and don't care what you get for it.

It brings everyone to the malls and it's packed. Don't get me wrong I love seeing the chaos, but as far as shopping I guess I'm getting old but some deals are just not worth the trouble. So I opted to check out a consignment store to try to even add to my possible savings. Well lucky for me, Brooke's Boutique was having a crazy sale. They had a few racks of clothes for only $3!!! I couldn't believe it, my gf and I ended up getting a few dresses and to add to it no TAX! This store has a mixture of high end consignment items along with lower priced items, marked down. So it's not one of those stores you come in and look at all the crazy high priced items even though marked down still outside of your budget, it is stuff that is actually affordable.
