I am new to the area and stumbled onto this store looking for a material to make cording for my 100 year old rocker and they had the perfect fabric. AND while I was wandering their aisles of fabric I found soooooo many fabrics I loved...I asked about cotton velvets for my sofa and they were so helpful and I found the perfect color green and reasonably price. Wow! Just installed our custom curtains, and cannot say enough wonderful things about this shop. From the prices to the selection to the customer service, they hit it out of the park. I've purchased custom curtains before for 3-4x the price, and the exact same quality. Actually, I would say these are better. Ming and his team packaged the curtains for us in pristine condition, not one wrinkle. We didn't hang them up for several hours, and the packaging kept them crisp. Large large fabric store with a huge selection! We were looking for fabric to make curtains for our new house - curtains, black out lining and the sheer fabric for some lighter white see-through curtains. This place had everything we needed. They have high quality materials, but we learned that came with a price! $5-30/yard depending on material! But some of the better selections out there based on the 2-3 stores we checked out that day. The workers are super friendly and will help you find the fabric you need and make recommendations. They even have a person that will make your curtains for you - just ask them for a quote! Once you pick out what you need, they'll grab the roll and measure it all out for you. They'll cut and package your fabric into nice rolls and place the rolls into plastic bags - unless you buy a smaller amount, they'll fold it and bag it for you. The guy even helped us carry and load it into the car! Great place to visit for all your fabric needs! read more

I would have never found this place without Yelp...thank you to the other reviewers! It looks different than other fabric stores and is in an odd building. However, it is actually a huge store. They have "no samples" posted on many of the fabrics. I found one that I liked with a tag that stated that it comes in 8 colors. I asked the owner about this and he found a book of samples and suggested that I find the ones I am interested in and he would cut samples. There were five and he had one of the employees go into the back and cut samples of each...they have all in stock! The owner was VERY busy, but was not put off by my asking questions...then again, that is what you do to earn business. They have many fabrics on clearance too. I will be purchasing fabric from them as they are not much more than buying online, but I can see the actual fabric before purchasing it. They are much cheaper than the other fabric stores in the area! read more

He absolutely knows the design industry and as everyone can attest, this is not an easy time to navigate shopping and custom orders in a pandemic. This is the best shop for everything related to fabric, upholstery, curtains and drapery. By far the best fabric selection in town. We got the most beautiful drapery- better than all these elite stores such as major shade stores on Richmond Avenue. The service is outstanding. Mr Ming and his team are so knowledgeable and precise! It was a pleasure to work with them and get all the help. They know all the fabrics and needs of their customers! I am so happy we got our beautiful curtains from this store! Don't bother going to their other store on Harwin, this location is very, very nice. Clean, doesn't smell, HUGE selection of fabric. I did see an identical fabric from Hobby Lobby, it was the same price, however I'm not sure they have sales like Hobby Lobby. I think the prices are good for the high quality. read more

Needed material to recover the cushions of some 70 year old dining chairs. This store is indeed a warehouse with no frills, but who cares? The fabric is sorted by color schemes and on HUGE roll hangers. Found what I wanted, brought in all 6 cushions, and they did the rest. Did have a problem: they made all the cushions the same size, even though the captain's chair was slightly larger. This was quickly addressed and a new seat made at no extra charge! The staff/owners go out of their way to please. Would highly recommend them read more

This place was amazing! Such a great find. I'm reupholstering my couches and thought I'd be lucky if I could find fabric for $10-15/yd and spend $300-400. Then we discovered the discount fabric section, and I was in heaven. The selection even of their discount fabrics is great and there were several I was considering for my project. I found this beautiful fabric for $2/yd that did not look or feel cheap. There wasn't much on the bolt, so I was surprised to learn they had plenty more in the back and I walked out with 40 yards for $80! As they were cutting it, the employees noticed a run in the fabric that went on for a few yards and made sure I was aware of it. Then they carried the huge bolt out to our car. Their selection of regular priced fabric is even more amazing, and ranged around $12 and up. I can't wait to have a reason to come back! read more

The store mostly sells heavy fabrics for curtains, upholstery, and sofa pillows. They also have tassels, fringes, and ropes. I was looking for printed craft fabric and was disappointed. However, the staff seemed nice and there was plenty of parking. read more

There is a huge selection of fabrics at this store and the new store that opened on Fondren. The prices are fabulous and the owners are so helpful and kind. They made drapes for my house and they couldn't be prettier. Definitely a GREAT place to shop for fabrics. read more
