You can get beans grown and roasted in Hawaii here. It's got a 90s coffee shop feel. They seem to take coffee seriously. And it appears to attract as many locals as tourists. I enjoyed my cortado. There's cool art on the walls.

Ars Cafe used to be a daily ritual. Now it is a special treat. When your order is not filled as requested it is very disappointing. Thankfully the barista offered to remake the drink. The point is, you have one job, do it efficiently. An apology would be nice.

So far, so good! BEST consistent cup of coffee I've been having is ONLY here! Different baristas every time but consistency and quality is the same! I also love the cafe's dog, Lucrecio! Sweet and polite dog! Start your day off on the right foot with a good cup of coffee and a bagel

Cute little artsy coffee shop. Walking distance from Kapiolani Park! There's bar seating, tables in the back and a couple out front. Baristas were chill and had a fun vibe. Matcha was ok. I think it could've used a little more syrup, but I'll have to say that next time. A solid 7/10! I'll be back though, I have to try their lattes!

Consistently a staple spot in the neighborhood--maybe the only coffee shop in a few blocks? Or many blocks tbh.. I can't think of another coffee shop in walking distance. I really love their drinks, not too sweet. I think they make some or most of their syrups in house, which is big points in my book. Really well kept as well, classy and homey vibe at the same time. The staff here has always been friendly. I can see why it's stuck around for as long as I can remember!! Also side note they seem to support and feature a ton of artists. LOVE THAT.

Cherry croissant was freshly baked and such a crisp great flavor. Cherry and almond wasn't just a fake flavoring. The ube scone was more of a cookie texture, it definitely didn't crumble the way a scone is supposed to but the ube taste was great. Great pour over coffee! 100% Kona beans coffee! Cute little cafe spot that features a lot of artists. Tiny tables of indoor seating. Breakfast bagel was gigantic and had so many veggies packed inside. Fried rice was really nicely done, and had a good amount of Portuguese sausage. Egg was poached perfectly!

You gotta love a coffee shop that's playing Coltrane don't you? Artsy neighborhood vibe. Excellent espresso served in a china cup...not paper. Friendly efficient service makes Ars a great stop for a quick shot or a nice place to meet a friend and enjoy the local atmosphere.

Got iced pourovers with the single origin beans offered. The flavors were on the weaker side, kinda diluted. But the place was cute.

Nice wooden interior like a mix of an old library and coffee bar. They play good jazz to go along with the coffee.

Sadly we didn't like the coffee , service was also rushed and nonamicable. Food items we got to go were just OK (egg salad sandwich and ham/cheese croissant).

Great quality coffee and AMAZING syrups. Obsessed with the sweet miso, very balanced and smooth and not too sweet. Friendly baristas and calming nice interior

    Teddy Graham Latte ($~7)

Ars is one of my favorite coffee shops in the Diamond Head/Waikiki area! My go-to order is the teddy graham latte, which is made with cinnamon, honey, and oatmilk. I've also tried their salmon bagel, which is delicious as well! The girls who work here are always nice and very efficient in getting your order out to you. There is a seating area past the ordering counter with a variety of art pieces, making it more unique than some of the other cafes in the area. If you're up for a walk, it's not too far from KCC, Diamond Head, Kapiolani Park, the zoo, or even the beach! Since there are many other food spots in the area, parking can sometimes be hard to find. There is street parking along Monsarrat Ave, but if you can't find any there, you may be able to in the residential area. If you park in the neighborhood, please be respectful of those who live there!!!

LOL It's no secret that I love this place and my friends also love it too. It's our fave place to hangout and chill. Noticed that at night closer to closing time they get flooded with people - do keep that in mind when coming here. Was lucky to snag a seat at the counter but it was packed! Please be patient with the help as well because most of the time it is just them trying to handle the huge barrage of people waiting in line as well as dine-in customers. Great experience nonetheless.

Three staff members present and not one offered so much as an aloha or hello. For a local, "Hawai'i based business", the complete absence of aloha was jarring. I came ready to try all kinds stuff, especially matcha, but only ended up only smelling it, because the energy in that room made it clear my presence as a Black man wasn't wanted or needed. If business is going so well that customer service is optional, congratulations. But for the rest of us who show up hoping to feel welcome for overspending on your match and ice cream, especially in a place that's supposed to represent the spirit of these islands -- this wasn't it. This is clearly one of those places that feel like they're too good to serve you if you're not meeting their aesthetic. Yeah, very Beverly Hills (attempt, but likely wouldn't do well there), kinda "clicky" like vibe, snooty, haughty seeming like vibe, maybe a lil tad bit stuck up, and for the tiny little portion and "big show" , I probably would have liked it somewhat, but also would have felt guilty for paying a fortune to be treated that way lol This place likely won't be around in a year, by the vibe I'd say it's slow times (wonder why). I know I will, happy to spend even more down the road- so many to choose from, trust me this place ain't unique in my experience. In these times, be kind to yourself, and love yourself enough to go where you're treated best, people.

There were a series of promotions and, when our group was discussing a dinner spot on Saturday evening in early February, I suggested picking a restaurant there. Before walking the aisles, my friend and I went to the information desk and asked whether that Saturday's promotion offer was still available. The lady confirmed that there were redemption coupons still available so we planned accordingly. After dining at the noodle restaurant in the back, we explained the promotion to our fellow diners and paid for our meals so that all interested guests would be able to enjoy this perk. For spending $20 on a meal, we were given a coupon to get a free cup of sorbet here. Being right next to the information desk, this store is to the far left, near the exit doors and stairs. In redeeming our coupons, we patiently waited as the young lady scooped our cup of sorbet. mango sorbet (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ctKL8zyt4Jhz0wy6NXfJEA&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). The promotion didn't lend any choice in flavors but I must say that I enjoyed that sorbet, perfectly icy after a hot bowl of noodles. The young lady was patient as the five of us each had coupons. As we were about to leave, a gentleman shared with us the background of their company which was interesting and helpful. Always great to support local businesses. On our next visit to Stix, if I still have stomach space... highly likely..., I will stop in and try some of their other offerings whether it be sorbet or gelato. And thank you for the promotion to give us a free opportunity to experience your business.
