I felt pressured and hadn't had any experience with full body massages before so I thought maybe this was standard? However I talked with my friend who recommended the place right after and they were shocked and upset at what had happened. I've worked in the service industry for a long time and I understand how necessary tipping is with how high cost of living can be. However, in this instance I felt taken advantage of. Dr. Shi has been practicing acupuncture for decades. Dr. Shi can speak some English, but is fluent in Mandarin. As a patient who speaks some Mandarin, I'm fortunate enough to learn that Dr. Shi travels to give speeches in China and he continues to learn the arts of healing. Dr. Shi is an unorthodox acupuncturist in which his methods are not just sticking needles in your body. He asks your body to change the tendons, the muscles, the bones, the fascia, and even the skin. And yes Dr Shi talks to your body, it's so strange (I know), but he can find where the source of your pain is from and he tries to find the root cause of the pain so he can transform your body. Even if I don't tell him I have pain in a specific area, he will find out after assessing your body. As someone who suffers from multiple injuries, my chronic pain and musculoskeletal problems caused migraines, dizziness and pain with movement. I saw renowned acupuncturists twice to three times a week for three months and my symptoms never improved significantly enough to go about my daily life. I saw Dr. Shi for one month, twice a week and my headaches and dizziness improved right away. My range in motion also increased with less pain. Additionally, my stiffness and deep pain lessened. So why the magic... okay, I get it. You need a concrete example. I have a painful bump in the back of my head, it was about 2inch so not too big, but pressing on it caused migraines and shooting pain down my neck and spine. Dr. Shi placed acupuncture needles in my body, asked me to do some strange movements, and in three sessions the spot was less tender and I no longer have shooting pain down my neck and spine. This was also combined with Western medicine. It's not completely gone because he explained that healing is treatment, time, taking care of yourself, staying warm and moving correctly. I also like the way Dr. Shi inserts and takes out the needles. He prepares your body and gently inserts the needles. If it will be a painful spot, he will guide you on how to lessen the pain for that acupoint. I am excited that the acupuncture clinic will be opened soon. This way, Dr. Shi can help more people.

I booked a Regenerative Anti Aging Facial 80 minute session priced at $390 with Lety. When I arrived, the entrance was modern with their skincare products laid out for sale on the side walls. The receptionist took my information, she walked me inside to give me a tour of the facilities. Everything was clean and spotless! She showed me the restroom, makeup area, and shower area which consisted of products such as makeup remover, q tips, cleanser, curling iron, flat iron, brush, combs, hair gel, hair spray, hair mist, etc. Everything I needed, they had. There was a jacuzzi, which was very hot, a dry steam room, a wet steam room, and bath tub area as well. I wish they had a cold room to balance out all the hot rooms. There were wet towels with aroma therapy, cucumbers for your eyes, and plenty of body towels everywhere. The facial I had was wonderful! Lety had magic hands! First, she applied different serums onto my face. It felt so relaxing as she massaged all the products on my face. Then she cleaned off all the dead skin. She applied vitamin c and hyaluronic acid on my face before using the derma pen for microneedling. It didn't hurt at all and just felt like sand paper rubbed all over my face. This is supposed to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles and hopefully help with sunspots and pores. The next thing she did was use nu face, which is a device for lifting your skin. I'm in my 40s, so I really needed this procedure. This didn't hurt as well. The last item she put on my face was a face mask. It felt cool on my face and by this time, I was so relaxed. The other bonus items that she did was massage my shoulders, arms, legs, and feet, which is part of the package. When I went home, I had a little bit of redness, but not too bad. It is slowly going away. Overall, did I think the price of this facial was worth it. Definitely, but maybe it depends on the esthetician you get. Lety has had many years of experience, she is knowledgable, and she's good at her job. When I come back for another facial, I'm definitely booking with Lety again. One of the best facials I've ever had! I just feel like if you're going to pay a lot for a massage or facial, you want you're experience and time to be worth it.
