I haven't been back to Burke Williams for a long time. I finally decided to go back because I had heard from a friend how great their facials and massages were. I booked a Regenerative Anti Aging Facial 80 minute session priced at $390 with Lety. When I arrived, the entrance was modern with their skincare products laid out for sale on the side walls. The receptionist took my information, she walked me inside to give me a tour of the facilities. Everything was clean and spotless! She showed me the restroom, makeup area, and shower area which consisted of products such as makeup remover, q tips, cleanser, curling iron, flat iron, brush, combs, hair gel, hair spray, hair mist, etc. Everything I needed, they had. There was a jacuzzi, which was very hot, a dry steam room, a wet steam room, and bath tub area as well. I wish they had a cold room to balance out all the hot rooms. There were wet towels with aroma therapy, cucumbers for your eyes, and plenty of body towels everywhere. The facial I had was wonderful! Lety had magic hands! First, she applied different serums onto my face. It felt so relaxing as she massaged all the products on my face. Then she cleaned off all the dead skin. She applied vitamin c and hyaluronic acid on my face before using the derma pen for microneedling. It didn't hurt at all and just felt like sand paper rubbed all over my face. This is supposed to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles and hopefully help with sunspots and pores. The next thing she did was use nu face, which is a device for lifting your skin. I'm in my 40s, so I really needed this procedure. This didn't hurt as well. The last item she put on my face was a face mask. It felt cool on my face and by this time, I was so relaxed. The other bonus items that she did was massage my shoulders, arms, legs, and feet, which is part of the package. When I went home, I had a little bit of redness, but not too bad. It is slowly going away. Overall, did I think the price of this facial was worth it. Definitely, but maybe it depends on the esthetician you get. Lety has had many years of experience, she is knowledgable, and she's good at her job. When I come back for another facial, I'm definitely booking with Lety again. I've been an on-and-off member at Burke Williams for more than 20 years. Over the years, I've always enjoyed the massages, facials, and spending time in the sauna. While the facilities could use some updating, I've generally had positive experiences. Unfortunately, my experience when ending my membership left a very different impression. I canceled while I still had a credit available, assuming I could simply use it later. What I didn't realize is that once you cancel your membership, you immediately lose the member pricing even for credits you've already paid for. On top of that, the credit expires sooner than I expected. When I recently called to schedule my massage, I was told my credit had already expired. After being a loyal customer for many years, I was disappointed that no exception or courtesy credit was offered. A little goodwill toward a long-time member would have gone a long way. My advice to anyone considering canceling: use all of your credits before you end your membership. Otherwise, you may lose the member value you've already paid for. Came here Thursday May 28th and Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences. Upon check-in, the young lady who checked me and was really nice didn't get her name, but it said esthetician on her name tag. She checked me in told me a little about the facilities. It was great. Dana was my massage therapist and it was a really bad experience. She did attempt to target areas that I told her were more painful. However, I couldn't focus and relax during my massage because she had a rolling chair that she continued to roll around while giving me a massage. I have never had anyone sit down while giving me a massage. Also, she was moving the table up and down and the noise of the motor/hydraulics was not allowing me to relax. I also couldn't help but the amount of noise while I was getting a massage from the hallway. I kept thinking she was going to stop rolling the chair and moving the bed up and down, but it just alternated throughout the entire 50 minutes. I was counting down till the time that it was over. This killed my whole experience I just left the spa didn't even utilize any other amenities. While checking out, there was only one man up there. He appeared to be maybe the manager and there was a really long line may have waited close to 10 minutes to be checked out. When I was checking out, he asked how was the service? I said it wasn't that great. He responded by giving me my total didn't inquire one bit. This was very disappointing as this was a graduation gift to me for my receiving my doctorate. As a 15th anniversary gift some friends of ours gifted me and the hubby each a 50 min massage with an enhancement add on for Burke Williams. I've been to a couple other locations and this was the hubbys first time and so we picked the Pasadena location. We made reservations for a Saturday at 4pm. We got there an hour early to take advantage of the spa. It is coed but separate areas for men and women. I loved the jacuzzi, dry sauna and steam sauna also. We also got a locker with a key to put our things in, as well as a robe and slippers to use which were super comfortable. Throughout the spa I loved the washcloths that were surrounded by ice to keep you cool and also the aromatherapy ones. I enjoyed my massage! Shout out to Stephanie!! She applied the perfect pressure on my neck and shoulders which I wanted her to focus on. After our massages we stayed in the spa another 30 min or so before leaving. For Christmas, my boyfriend got me a sweet and thoughtful gift card to Burke Williams. I decided to use it to explore new locations. Previously I have been to the Orange and Mission Viejo locations, so I thought it would be fun to check out the Pasadena location. It's in the Old Town area, and the nearest public parking lot is off Green and Fair Oaks. I really loathe paying for parking and having to walk over. For any first timers to Burke Williams, they are a luxury European style spa, meaning the spa area is generally naked. Bathing suits are optional. In the spa area, they have lockers, a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, showers, and vanity tables. There are also quiet rooms for napping in its' own area in the front by the lobby. This location only has the lobby as the co-ed hanging out area. Compared to other BW locations, they are smaller and more busy. I usually spend about 3 and a half hours at BWs and this time was the same. I started off with a strong shower. The other locations has their shaving cream for grabs outside, but this location has a shaving cream inside each shower. And then I went over to the jacuzzi, then the sauna, and then to the quiet room for a little nap. Then I showered again before my treatment time and headed to the lobby before my treatment. When it was time for 80 min Pure Relaxation Massage ($245 regular/$285 member pricing), Pearl came to get me from the lobby and welcomed me up the stairs. Most of their treatment rooms seem to be upstairs. The treatment room seemed to have the same equipment and general layout as other BWs but less square footage. I had an amazing time with Pearl. She started off asking me if I had any areas I wanted to focus on, and any injuries or areas to be careful with. She was thoughtful throughout the massage and made sure the pressure was to my liking. There was a good amount of massage oil used the whole treatment. I was soooooo relaxed. Pearl gave my wrist and forearm the additional attention I requested. When the massage was over, she placed my warmed robed on the table, just as expected with all BW massage experiences. I had such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The highest compliment I can ever give someone is that I would come back and book another massage with Pearl. After my treatment Pearl walked me back towards the lobby and reminded me to stay hydrated for the next few days. She was super sweet and thoughtful and definitely the best encounter I had with the Pasadena location. After my service I went to take another shower and got ready at their vanity tables. Unfortunately there were MULTIPLE dirty brushes in the clean bin. Which reminds me the showers had a lot of hairs on the wall. Super turn off. There was a lot of staff in the spa area so I'm not sure if they missed it since it was so crowded or if they were more focused on other areas of the spa area. Staff also mentioned that this is the oldest location in the area... and I can see that... in the sense that the layout is less thoughtful than the other locations, such as locker rooms where you change is in high foot traffic areas. I waited for a bit at check out, but staff was very helpful. They were able to give me my day pass and bring a friend that was part of the gift card deal that the Mission Viejo location forgot to give me. Loved the massage and the amenities, but I don't enjoy the crowd and there's room for improvement with the cleanliness. I don't blame the business for doing well, but I do feel like they can maintain better cleanliness of their facilities for how much they charge for our services. Of the Burke Williams locations I have been to, my favorite is the Orange location which is the largest, and then Mission Viejo for an intimate quiet experience, and this places last. My daughter and I purchased a membership here while we were training for our 2026 Marathon. We have loved it so much, so that even two months post-race, we have continued going for massages! The therapists have all been amazing, and we love the spa amenities. It's always such a fun momma-and-me treat to enjoy the steam rooms and jacuzzi before getting an amazing massage. The facility is super professional, and they take every opportunity to make the place an inviting experience. I love how they are constantly cleaning, and they offer every kind of toiletry you would possibly need. I had booked this appointment a day in advance. If your business is unable to provide the treatment at the scheduled time, it would be better to contact the customer in advance to reschedule rather than make them wait another 30 minutes. I am finally admitting that their is no place with greater consistency and breadth of treatments than Burke Williams and I drive monthly from Las Vegas; currently on a six month program for the ULTRAfusion facial backed up by at-home H2V skincare, (the BW skincare brand). I made the mistake of needing to depart after the treatment and moving forward I will allow ample time to enjoy the facilities. I am a fan of the shower amenities, the jacuzzi and sauna, the quiet room, the delicious tea and healthy snacks. The ULTRAfusion facial has transformed my skin and at 71 I was due for some transforming! I had had damaging deep laser treatments at other facilities and it was simply damaging my skin, not helping it. I kept thinking that stronger is better and I was wrong! A few weeks ago I was in a car accident, and was referred to Dr. Cali who has a chiropractor office in the day spa. Every time I go the front desk team is so friendly and checks in quickly. So where do I begin... I was a little flustered when arriving to Burke Williams. It was my first time there and no one warned me about the parking situation or that I would have to go down an alley to find the spa. I didn't plan for these issues which caused me to be late. I did try to call but the number isn't directly linked to the Pasadena location. However, they did promise to forward my message. When checking in I explained this to the receptionist and he treated me with the utmost care and respect. He pushed back my appointment time by 30minutes so that I had time to settle in and prepare for my treatment which I truly appreciate thank you. I was given a tour of the spa and introduced to all the amenities. My appointment was for the 60min 4-Layer Resurfacing Facial. When booking and confirming my appointment they did give me a heads up and informed me not to use the hot sauna or spa with this type of treatment. They also suggest arriving 30 minutes early to use the amenities but that was not needed considering the treatment I scheduled. After my experience I do recommend arriving early. The Pasadena location is near old town so it's pretty crowded and busy out there. I parked in the structure by Buca Di Beppo but while walking over I saw a small paid parking lot next to the alley where you find the spa. Now when it comes to my spa experience I must say I'm very grateful to have been paired up with Brindle (I hope I spelled her name correctly). They ask you to wait in the main room at least 5 minutes before your appointment. Apparently, I wasn't checked in correctly so I was waiting a little past my appointment time. They noticed me sitting/ waiting and started asking questions to help me. I love that everyone works as a team here. They apologized for the inconvenience and got me all situated with Brindle. I have to say... Brindle is the best esthetician! Now when I saw the description for the 4-Layer Resurfacing Facial I thought it was a chemical peel but if I understood Brindle correctly it's not chemical based, it's a less abrasive peel. Regardless, I loved it! I came into that room so tense and I left feeling like I was walking on clouds. Brindle has a calming presence and a soothing voice. I love that she is not afraid to get in there when it comes to getting those impurities stuck in your skin. Also, she is great with her hands. I find that a lot of estheticians are almost afraid to apply any pressure when massaging face/body. Not Brindle! She was right on the money. I came in last week to book my son and his gf a couple of massages. My son's gf is getting ready to go back to school , so they only get to see each other during the summer and holidays. They have both been working so hard because during the school year they really focus on studying so I wanted to gift them something special. While I was there, one of the managers (Trinity) was in ear shot of my story and she came on over to make sure that my gift cards were done properly and she added a few special touches. I was so impressed but it didn't stop there. Trinity asked if I would allow her to arrange something special for them and boy did she deliver. I love a good spa and burke williams has been on my list to go to. I have one near my area but was in town visiting and my friend recommended this one. Overall the location is nice and the customer service is great. Do I think the experience is worth the money I wouldn't necessarily say so. I booked a deep tissue massage which was I believe $240. That's probably the most Ive paid. In my opinion I feel like the massage was good. I asked for more pressure and it was not a problem. I did get in the jacuzzi before hand and I also went to the quiet room to nap. I will say that they provide enough things for you to shower, do your hair and other things. They did offer a membership which would lower the price so I do think the point is to become a member and get the lower rate. My partner and I were very excited to use our gift cards that we gifted each other for Christmas to start of the new year right. This review is solely about our experience at the Pasadena location on January 3, 2025. I booked my partner and my services online initially because my partner wanted to ensure she got the same massage therapist as the last time she went, Tori. I booked a 65 minute massage and a 50 minute facial as part of the joyful retreat package. This was booked through the phone since we changed my massage from the one that I initially wanted in order to fit the package. My partner even asked on the phone to make sure she would be able to use the joyful retreat package gift card and the person on the phone said yes. FYI, joyful retreat is supposed to include 1 relaxation massage for 60 min, 1 H2V spa style facial for 50 min plus once choice of enhancement. My services were great. I loved my massage and my facial was perfect - I opted for the Vitamin C peel as my enhancement. This is the only reason I am making my review 2 stars instead of 1. However, when we went to check out, I was charged $40 over what I was supposed to be. We asked the cashier if the gift card was supposed to include the enhancement and she said she didn't know. She was not helpful and basically just charged us the price of the services separately instead of using the package to cover all service costs. Here's the thing, when you buy an advertised "package", the point is that you don't have to pay as much as you would if you bought all services on their own. The massage, facial and enhancement should have all been covered but instead the cashier just used the "cost" of the gift card and charged us the remaining balance... basically making the "package" part of it useless. My partner spoke to the manager, Liz Padilla, on the phone and she was unhelpful. We are now trying to resolve our issue with corporate. A warning to anyone going here: they will try to overcharge you, upcharge, upsell, add on, etc. I don't think it's okay that we bought this package for our specific services and then when we got there, still had to pay the full price. My energy was super calm when we walked in, and the service was top-notch. I reserved a 50-minute deep tissue massage session, and the masseuse was very professional. She told me I might feel sore the next day and to drink lots of water to help with the soreness. I felt completely relaxed afterward. After our sessions, we met in the common area and enjoyed the jacuzzi, steam room, dry sauna, and showers. They even had bananas and cold ice water to keep us hydrated. We ended the experience with a refreshing shower before getting ready for a nearby dinner. They thought of everything! I had an exceptional 80-minute relaxation massage infused with CBD, and it was easily one of the best experiences I've had. Dyhmand was incredibly attentive- she took the time to ask about my areas of tension and focused on them with great skill, releasing a lot of the pain and tightness I'd been experiencing. She made sure the music was perfectly calming and checked in throughout to ensure I was comfortable and that my body positioning and ergonomics were supported the entire time. I have mixed feelings about my experience here. I came because my SIL got me a gift card and BW is a spa I've been meaning to check out. The facilities are very nice, they have many amenities and the staff are very on top of keeping everything clean. I came an hour early to use the spa and had a pleasant experience with the hot tub and sauna. I was relaxed and felt ready to enjoy my massage. Once my massage started is when things started going downhill. My masseuse Joanna was great, she listened and did what she could to keep me comfortable. However, I realized a few minutes into my massage that the AC vent was whistling and rattling so loudly that I could barely even hear the spa music. I asked my masseuse if that was normal and she said that if she opened the vent then the room gets really cold. But the whistling and squeaking was definitely annoying enough to brave the cold. However, once she opened the vent, the air blasting out of it was just SO LOUD, it drowned out the little ambiance there was left from the music. The only way I can explain it is getting a massage right on a busy highway. I tried my best for at least 30-40 min (of my 80 min massage) to drown it out and relax but instead all I got was a massive headache and I was not remotely enjoying myself in the freezing room. I didn't want to keep complaining but it got to a point where I would rather walk out than remain in that room so I asked her if it was possible to shut the air off. She said she would have to ask the front desk, so she left the room and assured me she would keep my remaining time which was kind. She came back a few minutes later and the air shut off another few minutes after that. Unfortunately, while the massage itself was great, it was overshadowed by the awful noise and I was already in such an agitated and unrelaxed state that the remaining time (20-30 min) wasn't enough time to get me feeling the way I do after a massage. I thanked her for her time and I knew the situation was out of her control. After I showered and went to check out, I told a man named Phil, who seemed like the manager about my poor experience. He told me they had just installed a new AC on that side of the spa and that it's better than being in a hot room. And essentially shrugged my complaint off as if I should be grateful that I had AC. For $230 + tip, I definitely expected better customer service. I was so taken aback because there wasn't an apology or any sort of attempt to make it right. Instead, after failing to placate me, he tried to sell me their membership. Maybe it's because I was paying with a gift card? I'm not really sure but any warm/fuzzy feeling I had about the facilities were long gone by this point as well as any interest I had in returning. 5 stars for Joanna/1 star for Phil read more

I've been to the Woodland Hills location a few times, so I was looking forward to trying this one. I'm glad I checked the records beforehand to prepare me for how small it is. Though it got really crowded on a Saturday afternoon, we were still able to find some space to do our thing. My sister really enjoyed her massage. She said it was so good that she fell asleep. I unfortunately didn't enjoy my massage at all. It felt rushed and wasn't relaxing at all. I did speak to the front desk and they gave me discount which I appreciated. I was told that you can stop a massage in the middle if you are not liking it. But being naked and having to get dressed then waiting for another masseuse just feels awkward. So I'm not sure if I would do that. The amenities are nice but small. In the locker area we were constantly in someone else's way. The dry sauna is very tight with comfortable space for maybe 4 people. The wet sauna had a little more space for maybe 6 people. The jacuzzi has space for maybe 10? There were 5 showers. So there was a moment when we had to wait for one. Anywho all in all it was a fine experience. The staff was super friendly, including my masseuse. So the experience was pleasant. But in the future I'd go to a larger spa, or go here at a less busy time of day or week. FYI there's a parking structure across the way where we parked. First time visiting Burke Williams Spa today and it was better than what I imagined. I didn't know what to expect as reviews vary. But I can say my group and I had an amazing experience. Our facials were scheduled for 11:30am we arrived around 9:30am and enjoyed all the spa amenities. During that time the cleaning crew were on top of it! Everything was clean and well stocked. Hampers and trash bins were constantly being emptied. The cleanliness was 10/10. The amenities were well maintained as well (sauna, jet spa, steam room). My esthetician was Carmen. I got an 80 min facial. She is wonderful! Would recommend and will be coming back to her! She was so informative about my skin type and problem areas and walked me through everything. I immediately saw and felt a difference! I bought most products she recommended and I'm so excited to continue my skin care journey because of her. My only complaint which really isn't much of a complaint but the locker room is kinda tight. Getting there early is good but getting ready to leave it was crammed and we had to rush through the area. I love that they had hair tools, sanitized brushes and products for your use! My group got ready for a birthday dinner there! Lol 10/10 good job Burke Williams! :) read more
