I had Cindy today and she exceeded all my expectations! Her massage style was the perfect mix of relaxing but strong. I have chronic back pain and I felt so much relief. Once I got there I was easily checked in and asked to fill the form of where I would like to focus on/avoid which I really appreciated. I highlighted my shoulders/traps area since that is where I carry most of my tension and pain. Upon entering the treatment room, it was quaint and perfect. My therapist started off in the areas that I experience the most pain and quickly helped me relieve the tenderness in those areas which I was so grateful for. I've been into countless other massage rooms where I spend nearly an arm and a leg and don't even provide any relief like my therapist Tina did! I was sooo so grateful, I could've cried. Throughout the whole treatment I felt really comforted and taken care of. Her touch was firm but most of all, perfect. The technique was unlike any other massage I've had in the best way possible. As I was writing my tip the staff member told me to tip more, and then told me again to tip more (she directly said "Tip $20, no tip $25. Tip $35 yes.") I ended up tipping $35 for a $60 massage. I felt pressured and hadn't had any experience with full body massages before so I thought maybe this was standard? However I talked with my friend who recommended the place right after and they were shocked and upset at what had happened. I've worked in the service industry for a long time and I understand how necessary tipping is with how high cost of living can be. However, in this instance I felt taken advantage of. My treatment consisted of acupuncture with electro therapy. Then a hot foot soak, then he applied some special Chinese medicinal paste on to my ankle and wrapped it up.
