Had a definite senior moment and ran out of propane after normal business hours. Made a call to Arrowhead Travel Plaza and they had propane available to refill your tank(s). Disconnected the one tank and drove over from the RV park that we were staying at. Pulled up to the refill station and called from the intercom located nearby at the dump station. An attendant came out shortly and refilled my tank. Gave me a ticket to take to the cashier in the store to pay for the fuel. I recommend Arrowhead Travel Plaza for your propane needs. They came through for us and we had heat for a cold night in the thirties. Price for the propane was very reasonable too. read more

Well won't be buying souvenirs here again, first the place is decent with lots of parking. There was some Girl Scouts selling cookies and was blown away when we bought 2 boxes for $12 and then the girl handed me the thing to sign as I was using a card and she asked me if I wanted to leave tip, since when do Girl Scouts ask for tips? We used the restrooms and were buying snacks, our boys since it was their birthday we let them each pick a gift. One wanted some squishy toy and the other a dragon hand puppet, when the cashier was ringing stuff up my draw dropped when she told me the total. The little dragon puppet that out one boy wanted was $38, absolutely ridiculous as it probably only cost $5 or less to make. Pendleton is just down the road and lots of souvenirs that don't cost $38. Our own fault for not looking at the price, but it's a definite tourist trap and nothing more. read more

This is a very large truck stop--not a bad thing since it's the only stop for miles along the freeway. The parking lot can accommodate several cars and trucks, and there are enough gas pumps to handle a midday rush. There's even a pet area outside the picnic area for people traveling with animals. The interior is massive with plenty of walking room between aisles and the main walkway. There are several rows of gift shop merch, knives/swords, post cards, literature, clothes, etc. It's difficult to say if the Native American themed items are mass produced or if it's crafted by local indigenous people. If there was a sign advertising this, I didn't see it. Surprisingly though, the gifts were well priced, especially for a truck stop. There is a small historical display beside an arcade and giant stuffed displays. It's cool seeing the pieces of Oregon history mixed with the decor. There is a good selection of snacks and chilled food. On the other end of the truck stop is a rather large McDonald's with kiosks for easy ordering. Biggest complaint is the lack of cleanliness. The restrooms weren't well stocked or maintained. Also, for as many customers that were at this location, there didn't seem to be much staff in terms of service. There were two people behind the counter but only one open register while the line stretched a little long. Overall though, not a bad experience. read more

Absolutely love this stop! Not only do they offer gas and restroom facilities, but there is also a souvenir shop a McDonald's and a small museum in the hallway. It's next door to the Wildhorse too so if you need to rest for the night this could be your jumping off point to refuel before heading back on the road. We stop here both ways from P-Town to almost Idaho. The gas station is Self-service and thats a bonus. No real waiting but the parking lot can be chaos with... people backing out of parking spaces, pedestrians not paying attention, kids getting loose, And people who have driving issues in general. Just be careful. The gift shop has lots of nick backs and gifts. Some cool stuffed animals, like a bear. The bathrooms can have heavy traffic at times but is always clean and even though the rest stops o nbn the way are clean, its nice at the Travel Stop. I've never bought anything here but my wife has bought some things in the past and loves this place. They do have some items for sale that you can't get elsewhere. read more

I bought way too much here! There's plenty to look at , from ninja stars to jewelry to clothing. I got here at the perfect time to watch the warriors vs Celtics in the drivers lounge. The reclining chairs were great... although it would had been better if the Celtics won the championship! Everyone was very friendly and the place was very clean! The laundry facility looked good and the loads were about $1.50 each. Plenty of truck parking at around 1530 on a Thursday. I will most definitely come here every time I'm in the area. We stopped to fill up our Jeep, walk our dog at the nice grassed dog area and get something to drink. Right when we were ready to get back on the road our Jeep wouldn't start. The Travel Plaza requested their security to come jump us. A young nice gentleman came out and jumped us. The Jeep still wouldn't start, but he was able to help push the Jeep to a parking spot. He went above and beyond to try to get us some help to get a battery. Unfortunately it was beyond his control. We will forever be thankful for his help. I wish we knew his name. This is the 3rd time I've went to Arrowhead for propane. Talked cashier waited 30 minutes, the employee even drove right to the propane tanks and had to see me parked there and my 3 tanks at the charge station. Never stopped or came. It's already 50 cents a gallon more out there but after this 3rd time tonight I'll freeze my ass off and get in town tomorrow. An amazing place to stop! Fun things for the kids to check out like the Giant Yeti statue and the family of bears. They have educational and Interactive things set up by the McDonald's inside. There is a penny rolling machine as well to take a cheap souvenir home. The restrooms and showers were clean and the customer service was top-notch! Lots of different kinds of souvenirs as well as local novelty type foods to take home. They have your standard hot and cold drinks and food to grab for the road. If you want to go to the casino they have a service phone to let them know you need a ride Free ride over! They have outdoor picnic tables and lots of truck parking. read more

Definitely my favorite stop in Oregon. The have the cheapest diesel the staff are very nice and the place is kept clean. The parking doesn't make sense because all the spots are blind side but once you have parked they have a casino less then a mile walking distance and they also provide a free shuttle to and from. read more

I was waiting for someone in the shower and came out side to smoke and wait.. they had my key for my truck for a deposit .I got a hat and was gonna pay for it When I came back in to get my key. The Sec guard called the police and banned me from the property after I paid for it ??? Just because I walked outside and back in with it !!!! What a crook of shit... This place is amazing. They have every single snack here known to man and for a pretty fair price for a gas station stop. They also have unique gifts, travel toiletries and even a room where you can do laundry! Which is nice since the closest grocery store is about 12 miles away. Service is always friendly too. Brand New truck stop / Travel Plaza and Casino just opened a few weeks back the new truck stop is so clean and roomy as has way better bathrooms and coffee, than the old location did haven't used the showers here, but the TV room is really nice the new building also has a McDonald's in it, wish they would put in a Subway or something more than just the Arches, but hey its better than nothing it also has Pacific Pride card system for fuel, and the fuel islands have water and air hoses on them that is a real plus Haven't been over to the Casino yet but it is about half a mile away from the Travel Plaza with lots of room for parking of cars, big rigs and RV's read more

This is the best Travel Stop I have been to so far. The bathrooms are clean. They even have a picnic table outside if you dont want to eat inside. They have Mc Donalds, Subway and a Gift shop in one building. You can just walk in and they are connected with each other. The bathroom are really easy to get to and there's tons on bathroom, so it is great. A great rest stop to fuel back up. I was in this store yesterday and had lost my ID in between my home address (WA) and a relative's house (OR). When I stopped in again today, I had asked for a pack of cigarettes and was trying to explain that I had lost my ID and wanted to asked if anyone had turned one in within the last 24 hours. The cashier became short and snipped at me that she was unable to sell me the cigarettes, when I went to ask once again if anyone had turned in my driver license and then show her the copy I had from doing a replacement card along with my Oregon license she once again interrupted me and stated that she WOULD NOT Be selling me cigarettes, never allowed me to even ask my question nor would she look at the paperwork I was trying to show her. She then rudely said "if there nothing more your total is...." I have ALWAYS stopped at this fuel station as I love getting trinkets from there, I HAVE NEVER been treated with this level of disrespect and disregard. Unprofessional is a understatement with this "employees" attitude. She was at the second register from the left around 1030ish today. read more
