We used the restrooms and were buying snacks, our boys since it was their birthday we let them each pick a gift. One wanted some squishy toy and the other a dragon hand puppet, when the cashier was ringing stuff up my draw dropped when she told me the total. The little dragon puppet that out one boy wanted was $38, absolutely ridiculous as it probably only cost $5 or less to make. Pendleton is just down the road and lots of souvenirs that don't cost $38. Our own fault for not looking at the price, but it's a definite tourist trap and nothing more.

The food mart is amazing, a combo of small grocery store and several small fast foods- fried chicken, burritos, teriyaki chicken, pizzas, coffees and sodas. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and the place is clean and well stocked, and the restrooms are clean. We have Dave's in our Google maps so we never miss it. It's just about halfway between home in Seattle and Boise.

They only advertise their cash price on their sign with the tiniest "cash" lettering. Then they…read moredon't let you glass up so you don't see the actual price. They gassed me up and I got my reciept. I looked at it and obviously saw the price was much different than I expected. I came to realize that the price on the sign was for cash but you wouldn't know it because the "cash" label is so small. I realized they were running a racket because a person isn't likely to notice that the price if for cash and no price is listed for debit/credit. They have the "fine print" cash on the sign to legally cover their dihonest behind. Because you cannot pump your own gas you get stuck with the higer price. As soon as I started to talk to the attendant about the issue he ignored me and wouldn't talk to me or address the problem. It was obvious he knew of the guilt of the situation and he didn't want to confront it. I mentioned the issue to a group who had just arrived. They were shocked and they were grateful to me and went to the Chevron nearby (who actually had the lowest price around). There are so many reasons to not like this place. The bathrooms weren't that great either. Go to the Chevron across the road. I would give zero stars if it were possible.
