First time at Arrowhead, not sure why we waited so long. Part of it is that it is hard to spot Arrowhead unless you know where it is. It is on the backside of businesses on Battleground and Spring Street. It is worth the search. Arrowhead is a comfortable coffee house with pleasing decor and inviting seating areas although it does not have a ton of tables. The team behind the counter was terrific. Friendly and really helpful. They described the drinks perfectly and offered to give us samples of their brewed coffee if we wanted to get a taste of it. They brew Hatchet Coffee which from Boone. It was our first experience with their roasts. It has some bite to it which is why I liked it in my latte. It was a creamy drink with body. My wife had the Ode to Fall, a seasonal concoction with bourbon maple syrup, angostura bitters and salt. Unique combo and she really liked the smokiness and the sweet/salty mix. We really enjoyed the vibe, the staff and the coffee. Find this place. It is a worthy addition to your Greensboro coffee house repertoire.

This place never disappoints. I've visited multiple times and the coffee is consistently excellent, by far the best I've had in the Piedmont Triad area. I love that they can their own lattes for grab-and-go, and they're always delicious. You can tell all the ingredients are fresh, and the staff truly makes the experience even better. Such a great space for remote work or meeting up for a book club!!

I don't know if we ordered the wrong beverages or if the shop was having an off day, but we were not impressed. We came on a recommendation from a friend. Parking was a nightmare to the point where I had to wait 10 minutes for my friend to find parking before we could order. The staff were super friendly, so that was a positive. The decor was cute as well - I appreciated the option to select a book to read if dining in. I ordered the hot Curious George latte with almond milk. It came out luke warm. The front of the sip had a strong banana taste that slowly dissolved into a touch of almond, but no espresso flavor to be found. My friend got an iced caramel latte with oat milk. There was no caramel flavor to the drink, and it tasted like burnt dirt. The pastry case was full of pastries that were not priced and looked like they'd seen better days. The scones looked super dry, and I watched a cinnamon roll get pulled out of the case that stuck to the one next to it like it'd been there awhile. The prices were the worst part of all. We each paid almost $8 for a 12 oz latte. We agreed that if part of the proceeds were going to a charity, we'd be okay with spending that. As the shop has no website and does not advertise it, we don't think that's the case. Thanks, but no thanks. We're glad to check this one off our list so we don't have to return.

Cherie Berry (strawberry vanilla cold brew with freeze dried strawberry pieces)

(4.5 stars) Arrowhead rates as one of Greensboro's best coffeeshops and best-kept secrets. Because it isn't in the heart of downtown, it is easy to overlook. Tucked into a small plaza behind Dog Days, it is easy to drive right by it without realizing it is there. However, those who do stop won't regret it. For starters, Arrowhead's blend of industrial and artsy makes for a unique ambiance. It's a comfortable space with plenty of seating. They don't have a huge selection here, but what they do offer - nitros and flash brews in addition to the usual suspects - helps it stand apart. During my first visit, I opted for one of their seasonal drinks, the Cherie Berry. This hat tip to our state's erstwhile elevator queen was made from vanilla oat cold brew topped with strawberry foam and freeze-dried strawberries. It wasn't cheap (probably around $7 for a 16 ounce), but it was deliciously smooth and creamy. The strawberry pieces added a hint of tartness and an interesting textural contrast. Service was prompt and courteous. Arrowhead isn't close to home, so I don't know when I'll return, but I'm glad that I got a chance to knock it off the "to try" list.

I like this place. My friend and I were greeted as soon as we walked in. There are few tables and some high chairs near the counter. There is a room in the back for larger parties. A sofa is across from the counter and one restroom in the back. As soon as you walk in, is the portion of the counter where you order. The menu is not overwhelming. They have some dessert type treats available at the counter. If you are like me, I like to look at the menu before I go to an establishment. I had my heart set on my typical black Americano. Something about the Arrowhead add on caught my eye. The arrowhead has honey, cinnamon and vanilla. The barista asked if I wanted it on the sweeter side. I told her no. She made that coffee taste like heaven. The aroma was very calming and smelled delicious. It was not sweet, but it gave the coffee the flavor it needed to make me say it was one of the best coffees I have ever had. I like the atmosphere. I can definitely see myself as a frequent flyer.

vegan berry pop tart- i had already taken a bite. delicious.

Great coffee. Great customer service. Their flavors are EXACTLY as described. Truly amazing flavors. They weigh their portions out to make the perfect coffee. Would definitely recommend. Their coffee beans have a smooth after taste.

First time here, we were greeted by friendly conversational staff eager and willing to answer our inquiries as we navigated the menu. I opted for Ode to Fall latte, based on the description provided by the barista. She nailed it! Not too sweet, a bit smoky, topped with salt. The bourbon maple syrup & angostura bitters did not overpower the robust coffee. My husband enjoyed a standard latte, his usual go-to. We will return to Arrowhead's bright welcoming, laid back coffee house.

Arrowhead has been a love of mine for quite some time, and they've just hit an incredible milestone in their business. They now have a beautiful, spacious brick and mortar location in the heart of Greensboro. Their address is 518 N Spring St, directly behind Dog Days. They share a small parking lot with a few of their businesses but you can parallel park on N Spring Street which is a one way. (Gotta love Greensboro for those one way streets!) You can also park in the gravel lot across the street on Fisher Ave. Now enough about the parking and on to the important bits. The coffee is OUTSTANDING! They utilize Hatchet Coffee beans out of Asheville, NC and I couldn't be happier. The foundation of all of their beverages is stellar, but Arrowhead goes above and beyond with their custom creations. Their seasonal menus are beautiful and feature imaginative, flavorful drinks that always appeal to the coffee connoisseur, as well as to those just starting out. The Orange and Dreamy on their almost gone summer menu is what I dream of. The good folks that own and run this once a renovated horse trailer coffee truck to now a beautiful store of their own are simply incredible. They have customer service perfected and have truly become friends. If you haven't tried Arrowhead, you're missing out. Give it a go, my friends.

Cute little coffee shop with good seasonal drinks. Not a ton of seating but what is available is great for socializing or working/studying.

My favorite coffee shop in Greensboro! I've been getting an iced arrowhead latte for over a year now and it is consistently great! The staff are super friendly and they have fun seasonal drink menus.

But today was the day! As soon as you show up, you know this isn't your typical coffee shop. The outside of the place looks like it could be an Inn in the neighborhood (which who knows maybe it was at one point.) The vibe inside gives off quiet workspace/library, and definitely gives off the lobby of an Inn (think Gilmore Girls.) There was some people scattered around but I didn't take a deep look inside since I was just passing by. I ordered my ice vanilla latte. The first thing I remember realizing was that it wasn't very sweet. Which is not a bad thing, sometimes they can be made really sweet other times they can be not so sweet. This latte was in the middle. I could taste the creaminess from the oat milk too. I would definitely check this place out again and try out some of their other drinks that they offer. I would even like to stay in and work inside and see more of the environment inside.

Though most seats were filled when I visited, it was super quiet, like a library. I felt a little uncomfortable having a conversation, afraid of bothering others. I'm not sure if it's always that quiet or not. Street parking is somewhat limited, but there is a church with a parking lot just across the street. That said, I visited on Easter, so the church lot was full, but we were still able to find a spot to parallel park at the end of the street. They serve a decent variety of coffee and other drinks, but have a limited food/pastry menu. I got an iced lavender vanilla latte with oat milk, which is something I order at a lot of places. Sometimes, the lavender tastes so artificial it reminds me of eating soap -- I think certain brands of syrup taste better than others. That was not the case here. I don't know what brand they use, but it must be one of the better ones, because it tasted mild and delicious. Both lavender and vanilla came through. The espresso was smooth and not bitter. The ratios of everything were great as well -- not too much oat milk but not too little -- the perfect latte.

My partner visited Black Magnolia last week after her massage at Green Leaf Wellness center and raved about her cinnamon roll, so I decided to treat myself to one as well and it did not disappoint. I found the Patisserie straight away as I passed it on the way to my massage, but the signage on the curb helps since some businesses in Revolution Mills can be quite difficult to find. The storefront itself is quite small, consisting of a standing room and the glass case of baked goods, but there is seating outside and around the establishment. The staff was attentive, briefing me on all the cinnamon rolls they currently had and letting me know that there were some baking that would be available a bit later. Each roll looked decadent with flavors ranging from lemon blueberry, s'mores, and classic. There were also scones and other baked goods available as well, but I had my heart set on the Classic Cinnamon Roll. I bit into this beauty on my way home and it was the softest and most delicious cinnamon roll I have ever had! Baked with brioche dough and topped with cinnamon cream cheese frosting, the pillowy texture and flavors were so comforting and satisfying. I don't eat sweets often, so this was the perfect treat to end my day with. I am definitely looking forward to trying the lemon blueberry next!
