Clean installation despite having to cut into the ceramic file floor by using professional protection covering. Also was only a half a day to install. We ordered two banks of expensive Marvin windows…read moreback in February 2026 to replace some contractor-grade windows in our 2005 spec-home in North Spokane. We intend to start replacing a bank of windows every six months or a year. NW Window came out to measure and then we ordered the windows. It took five months to get them - which is fine, as I understand that they're custom built, and that takes time - and then NW Window tried to install them. The installers were great, but they quickly noticed that the upstairs windows were fine, but the legacy trim could not be reused with the downstairs bank of windows. The person who had measured the windows back in February did not catch that there was a difference in trim depth between the upstairs and the downstairs. The next thing I received from NW Window was a quote for an additional almost $2K (plus even more for staining) to rebuild the window trim. This was on top of a sale of windows that was almost $24K. I get that no one is perfect, but you need to own your mistakes. NW Window, on the other hand, simply blamed the original contractor of our home for having inconsistent trim depth and is trying to shift the cost of their mistake to me. I will definitely look for a different window supplier in the future and will note to the window manufacturer, Marvin, that it should look for a more conscientious reseller in the Spokane, Washington area. Please note the ragged, more-than-3/8" gap in the trim on the picture below. It's sort of amusing that NW Window includes the following on the bottom of its invoices: "The bitterness of POOR QUALITY and LACK OF SERVICE is remembered long after the sweetness of a LOW PRICE is forgotten. Thank you for your business." They should read their own documents, as this was definitely an example of very POOR QUALITY and LACK OF SERVICE.

A big plus in my view! They were well dressed, very professional, personable and thorough throughout the process. They explained everything, were knowledgeable about WA code and the products they offered. Knowing what I wanted in the first place was also helpful. I am on a fixed budget so replacing my old roof is going to be a huge expense for me. Not only did they get to know us some to ascertain our needs, expectations and budget but they went above and beyond to find a service package that I could afford. Some may view that as "too much" but I appreciate that they took the time to get to know me. I look forward to working with them. Our situation is not an emergency and we are very flexible in our timeline. Expectations set are reasonable! What was also impressive is that they didn't exaggerate the state of our roof's condition or try to oversell services we don't need. I have spoken with other "drive by" roofing companies in the past couple of years and was put off by their "scare the old lady" tactics, unprofessional appearances/attitudes and general lack of knowledge... My experience with DaBella is a warning to get absolutely every sales promise in writing before…read moresigning. Before purchasing a combined roof and gutter project, I specifically raised concerns about drainage and asked what would happen if trenching or French drains were needed to carry runoff away from my foundation. I was told that if the installer determined this work was necessary, it would be included, and that it did not need to be added to the contract because the installer would make that determination. That assurance significantly influenced my decision to buy the roof and gutters from DaBella. After installation, the installer told me additional drainage work was necessary--but that he was not equipped to do it. DaBella then told me it does not do French drains and the work wasn't in my written contract. That sequence is what I find unacceptable. I raised the issue before buying, received a specific assurance addressing it, was told why it didn't need to be written into the contract, relied on that assurance, and then after the sale was told DaBella doesn't perform the work. A professional contractor estimated the corrective drainage project at $6,924.23. I tried hard to compromise. I initially asked DaBella for $3,500, accepting substantial responsibility myself because I hadn't insisted on getting the salesman's representation in writing. DaBella offered $500. I compromised again, reducing my request to $2,579.75, essentially leaving myself responsible for most of the corrective project. After months of trying to resolve this, I sent DaBella a final written request. They did not respond. I paid DaBella in full. I repeatedly compromised. I gave them every reasonable opportunity to resolve the problem. My advice to prospective customers is simple: do not rely on anything a DaBella salesperson tells you unless the exact commitment appears in the contract you sign. If you're told something will be handled later, determined by the installer, or doesn't need to be written down, insist that it be added anyway. I wish I had.

Most of windows didn't open and had wavy glass that took away from the view. We had a pleasant experience with VPI Home Solutions. Matt the salesperson showed us their products and didn't pressure us into anything. When the install was being done, everyone was very polite and finished earlier than expected. The Forman, Roland was great! One of the screens was damaged and they returned the next day with a new one and added some calking to a windowsill that was missed. The only issue I had was the wrong grid was installed in two of the windows. They came out and replaced them with the right ones at no charge and it took a month and a half for the install, but it was during the busy season so no fault on them. I plan on using them again in the near future, we're a customer for life.

I was anticipating a three day install, but they had it completely installed and cleaned in half a day - I was like they had magic carpets to install our 6' x 10' skylight. The skylight is beautiful and has brought emotional sunlight back into our building and hearts. I will use and refer them always! Description of work: I needed to have a new skylight installed over a hole in our roof left from the "fired" roofer that specializes in Flattop Roofing and Construction. His three undertrained, inept workers destroyed our 6' x 10' 126 year old skylight (sidebar - the skylight survived the great fire of 1910, I might add), then covered the hole in the roof with unsupported TPO roofing material. After extensive research on my part, I learned the skylight could have bee reglazed, the roof could have been sealed by lifting one corner at a time - but most importantly it did not need to be removed. Additionally, the weight of the ponding water where the skylight once stood, caused seam damage and leaking into the building. The roofer that specializes in Flattop Roofing and Construction then placed a lien on our property, threatened us, screamed at me called my husband names, acted completely and totally unprofessional, lied about his credentials to include his insurance bond and sued us for breach of contract. The entire time the roofer claimed no responsibility for his negligence to the destroyed skylight. The cost to fix the problems with leaking cost us and additional $2100.00 and the new replacement skylight was just over $10,000. This was such a horrific experience and expense spanning 4 months. Modern Glass Company and their Magic Carpet riders came to our rescue. Love this company!

My old Mercedes SUV window got broken into on Halloween, and some stuff of mine were stolen. I gave them a call the same morning, they gave me a pretty reasonable(inexpensive) quote and they were able to fit me in an appointment the same afternoon. But I had to work, so I said how about tomorrow instead? I told them I'll drop off my vehicle during my lunch break, a bit past noon, and I'll pickup my vehicle when I'm off work. And they were pretty chill with that. They gave me a call at 3:00 saying it was done. But I don't get off work till 4:30. So I ended up showing up around 4:45 on a Friday. Yeah yeah, I know. We all hate that customer who shows up 15 min before closing for the weekend. But Ash was willing to wait for me, and had a great sense of humor. Ash even told me what he did to resolve the issue connecting the glass to the motor. He could had just bought a new part instead of try to fix the current broken part, and charged me double the quote, but he felt like doing me a solid, and try to save me some money. Which was greatly appreciated, since I was unemployed for 3 months before this, and my bank account is close to dry. TLDR----If you want a reasonable price, fast appointment, straight up transparency, and a guy with great sense of humor doing some quality work while saving you a few bucks if they can.......
