Jack is an exceptionally trained hair stylist, cutting celebrities' hair in Beverly Hills, including Brad Pitt's, and his skills are evident in each & every perfectly precise hair cut he has given me the past year, or so. After getting spoiled on both coasts, especially in San Francisco, at Cowboys & Angels, with Michael Madalinski, Tokyo, and Brittany, I saw 3 other stylists in Denver, my hometown, before I found Jack. And finding him was an elaborate work of art, in and of itself! I complimented a woman with beautiful hair at the grocery store, who was an aesthetician, then we exchanged numbers, and when I needed a new referral, she contacted multiple hair stylist friends of hers, in a giant game of lily pads, hopping across & through multiple professional business contacts, finally leading me to discover Jack. I couldn't be happier, or more grateful, for Jack! Not only are his cuts extremely specific and precise, demonstrating his proper training, he is also a wonderful human being, with whom I enjoy conversation. Highly recommend! Arrow - Beautifully, perfectly precise haircut with Jack, as always! - Hair Salons Near Me - Englewood, Colorado

I visited Arrow in Englewood for a root touchup, and my experience was very disappointing. When I arrived, there was another client wrapping up their hair cut, and Connie, who was handling my color, had her trainee assist with me. While I didn't mind the trainee's help, it quickly became apparent that she was doing most of my hair--she handled half the root touch-up, the toning, washing, and half the blow-dry while Connie juggled another client at the same time next to me. I wasn't sure who was really in charge of my appointment. The biggest issue came at checkout when I was surprised with an additional $71 charge for a blow-dry. I had no prior explanation of this fee, and when I asked about it, I was told I could've left with wet hair if I didn't want the blow-dry. This charge seemed unreasonable, especially after already paying $125 for the root touchup. ($125 for a root touch up with no blow dry?!?!) The lack of transparency was very annoying. The staff tried to upsell me throughout my visit--suggesting brow services and conditioning treatments. While I understand they want to offer additional services, it felt a bit pushy and made the experience feel more like a cheap salon rather than a professional setting. While the color itself was decent, I'd recommend making sure you ask about all fees and services upfront if you decide to go. Jack is awesome and I highly recommend him if you're looking for a great men's haircut. He really takes his time and each cut is the same consistent high quality. I tried a lot of other salons before finding him. He's a bit more expensive than other places, but absolutely worth it! Also just a chill, nice guy. Arrow itself is a nice, lively place. I have had the pleasure of Tara styling my hair for over 15 years. I have had a lot of colors and styles and Tara has met and exceeded my expectations year, after year, - style, after style. Tara's intuitive hair sense is unmatched. I have a lot of hair but it is very thin and Tara magically makes it full of volume and style. Beware! They post prices online and then charge you much more. When questioned, they say that each stylist has their own fees. I was charged $208 for a root touch up. At least 3x more than I've ever paid anywhere else before. $71 just for the shampoo and blow dry. I was from out of town and just read another review from someone else from out of town that had a similar experience. Do they jack up the price on people they don't expect to come back? This was my first time into Arrow Beauty Denver and working with Ashley, and I am very happy with the outcome! She listened to what I wanted and followed through with it. While this was only a haircut, that is the reason I ended up leaving my last stylist. I also appreciated how she seemed interested in what I wanted to do in future appointments particularly around color and was willing to communicate outside of appointments to ensure we are on the same page before making an appointment. My eyebrow gal Lea has officially moved into this new beautiful spot and I'm stoked. This salon is huge and full service so all your needs are met when it comes to treating yourself. When I came through for my once a month eyebrow tint I saw a young kid getting his hair cut, a lady getting a blow out and there I was. In for a brow job. The decor is hip but comfortable. I'm conflicted about writing this review because on the one hand I want to rave about them and on the other hand I want to keep this place my little secret. Also apparently forgot I already reviewed Arrow! Tara came as a recommendation from a friend who said she would sooner cancel a plane ticket than cancel a hair appointment with Tara and I found this to be true the hard way. I made a decision to go to Europe last year and discovered I couldn't do the august appointment I had. Her next available was one time in october (which I also couldn't do) or January. But I get it. Tara is an absolute miracle worker so I wait the extra months out just to have her magic hands touch my hair. I took my boyfriend's teen daughters here and the eldest will not go to any other salon, nor see anyone for her hard to tame curly hair other than Lacey. We also waited 2 months for Lacey this last time. The younger one got a cut with Cait and she looks phenomenal. So we know... book the hair appointment and make that a priority plan ! read more

I went to Arrow to support a friend of mine Rachael. She wanted to put color on my hair and the only reason I agreed was because she told me it was temp color and would help blend in the grey with my natural brown color. It ended up being permanent color. I asked her to correct it and she wanted to charge me for that service. She also said there was something seriously wrong with my scalp because I do not wash my hair often. I went to another hair dresser and they told me it would be a waist of time to do a color correction and I would just have to let it grow out. They also told me there was nothing wrong with my scalp. They said they saw a little flakyness but nothing out of the ordinary. read more

Lannhi is the most amazing hair stylist I've ever encountered. And this is a GORGEOUS salon with tons of other great stylists in there too. I am naturally very dark and like going platinum blonde...this is difficult for most hair stylists. At other places, I've ended up really brassy, orange, left crying with damaged hair...but with Lannhi, she's just got so much experience that she knew from the first time what to do. And my hair is growing even through all the bleach and highlights. I don't know what I'll do if she ever retires or moves out of the city! read more

I was recommended my stylist, Aja , by a coworker who had said she moved to this salon. Aja specializes in blonde hair and does it over and over daily. I came in with a horrible color job, brassy orange hair, uneven color, and asked for a cut, and color correction bayalage. The final result ? I wished we took a before and after picture and unfortunately have no photos For that this time. But, WOW!!!! I've never had such gorgeous results so bright and buttery blonde! All warmth completely gone but not ashy gray like I have always gotten from other stylists. The perfect Barbie hair I swear! I've gotten TONS of compliments and will definitely be back to see her! As a blonde herself, it's amazing to see how effortlessly she creates your dream hair that's been so difficult for me to find. Hundreds of dollars down the drain. But now, my gorgeous layered haircut and color is worth every single penny. You won't find a blonde colorist without tons of wasted time and money, so just take my word and go see this woman! I had a very unfortunate experience with Arrow and one of their ladies who does hair color....... I did a review on this person and the catty backlash was unbelievable ..... I was told I was "NOT A GOOD FIT". Because I related my terrible experience with this young lady. I was informed that "I was beyond disrespectful"? As I only related to my experience with this younger girl. (she was VERY disrespectful to me) I have been to Jose Eber's Salon in Orange County for a very long time and NEVER experienced this kind of behavior from a stylist or someone who did hair color. I also for a very long time have been going to a man who has been exceptional that works in Beverly Hills......... Obviously someone needs to do some homework on how to treat clients.
