I've gone to StudioUrbanWax and several Waxing The City locations, and been relatively pleased with the service I've gotten with them, but once in a waxing emergency, I cast afield and found Sweet Cheeks. Located near Orchard and University, there's ample parking. It's quiet and relaxing there. It's a little more expensive than WTC and SUW, but if you book online, you get a discount. So far, I've had good luck getting appointments when I need them. They offer lots of services besides waxing, but I haven't tried them. In general, though, I'm a big fan of Sweet Cheeks. read more

My significant other bought some great deals as an anniversary present to Sweet Cheeks. I went in twice and for both occasions had waxing done. On my first trip, a very welcoming and friendly woman was my esthetician - I could tell by her technique that she wasn't really experienced, but she made some good conversation. Needless to say, it was a drawn out and painful experience. My second time I went in, I had a different esthetician who didn't seem as friendly OR welcoming, but she was fast and efficient. She did my waxing in about 15 minutes, and it wasn't painful at all. I'm not sure if I'll come back again when I'm in the Denver area. I've been to better places, or maybe I'm just picky. read more

My review seems right on par with a couple others - I went here for a wax and Meghan is completely awesome. She's friendly and talkative and you barely notice the pain. There were a couple reviews that said service changed when told they had a Groupon, but that absolutely was not the case with me. Meghan was accommodating all the way through. Went in for my first Brazilian Wax...needless to say I was a bit nervous...didn't know what to expect...but my, my....she was WONDERFUL!!!!! I have been getting brazillian waxes from here for a few years now, used to see Meghan, now I see Catherine. Incredibly fast, very friendly, very little pain, they do it right. I do wish they would tweeze a little more though, I have been to more thorough places. I also think the rooms could feel a little nicer, their Littleton location was cuter. I got a coupon from urban delight for 30 dollars for unlimited tanning for a month. Meghan was the front desk and she was amazing and nice. Catherine was who tanned me I have never been spray tanned and she was very nice, she told me that it was gonna be cold and what to do at all times... I am not a big fan of the tan tho I think i look spolchy and not even but I think its my skin and not her fault, Like I said i've never been spray tanned before so I am not sure what to expect. Every one there is completely nice and the place was pretty clean I didn't see any issues as the other reviewers have spoken about and i even had a problem with my tan and I went back and she got me back and fixed up in no time :0) I would defiantly recommend sweet cheeks boutique for you to try and make your own choice about this place! read more

I've been getting Brazilian's with Amanda for about 9 months now, and she is great. She's super friendly and very thorough...which does take a bit longer, but nothing gets overlooked. And she's easy to talk to which makes the time go buy. I've seen reviews mention at home cleanup, and I've not had that problem. I haven't had any experience with the other staff, as Amanda always greets me, so I can't speak to that. But she's definitely a winner! read more

I wanted to put this out there, because I was desperate to know and it looks like most of the rest of the customer are too. I ran into Megan at McDonalds- Thank god!! She left Sweet Cheeks- which was the only reason I ever went there ( most of the time everyone was so rude to me the second I walked into the door except her). She told me she is now at Three Cutters on Pearl. When you find a person who can wax like she can, you don't let them slip away. She does an AMAZING job, going above and beyond any other waxer I have ever met ( let me tell you I've gone to more than I would like to admit ). She gets it, I don't want to leave and go home to have to clean up areas after the wax!! I want it all done then, just the same as anyone would!! I don't have to go home and do a thing- she gets it all for me! And that is only half of it. She has an amazing personality. I can relax and talk with ease. Most of the time I don't even notice I am getting waxed, we have such good conversation!! As for Sweet Cheeks as a business- well if you like the fact that no one can pick up the phone, or they say "that's not mine" meaning your not their customer when you walk in or you like dirty floors then this is the place. I won't return, especially now that I know where Megan is!! If you read this review try calling Three Cutters where I just made an apt with ease and the lady was super friendly. Don't let these people wax you! I was thrilled to find this place because it's super cute and close to my house. But, I left with chunks of wax stuck to my skin & remaining hair, and nothing was applied to my skin either before or after waxing. I went home and attempted to clean and soothe my skin, but no amount of after care could save my wax. Now, 5 weeks later I have more than 20 ingrown hairs and I can't go back for a wax at my regular place. read more

Best place for waxing. Denise and Catherine are professional, quick and very personable - very important qualities when you are getting a Brazilian wax! Also Catherine does an awesome spray tan. I went elsewhere and had to hide out until I could wash off the bronzer. At Sweet Cheeks it looked amazing the second I left and the self-tanner was not orange or streaked. If you go, don't go to anyone but Meghan-I had an appointment with her and the gal who owned it offered to get me in faster; I should have said no and maybe my experience would have been better but I felt bad saying no. Last time I make that mistake! I've gotten brazilians before and they're definitely not fun but this was HORRIBLE! I broke out in a cold sweat because it was so painful and she was so rough. Not only was it the most painful thing I've ever done, but there was SO MUCH HAIR LEFT OVER!! Awful! I paid good money for her to get it and there was tons left over. I should have said something but again, most painful and horrible experience ever so I didn't really want to stay for more!
