We are visiting friends in Myrtle Beach and ordered 2 pies from this place. After waiting 45 minutes, only 1 pie arrived. We called to let them know and the owner hung up the phone on our friends!!!! By far the best pizza in the Myrtle Beach area, and the best I've found since I moved south 11 years ago. You're greeted when you walk in, and the servers are friendly and helpful. The pizza has a thin crust with just the right amount of sauce and cheese, and the slices are large. The $5.00 two slice with drink special is a great deal. i ordered my pizza online and it said it was successfully paid for and to come pick up my order. when i get here they tell me i didn't order anything and have to reorder my pizza and to come back in a half hour. so i come back a half hour later and my pizza wasn't even in the oven yet. this is ridiculous. i'm not pleased and very unhappy. read more

We tried the one in Surfside. It was disgusting, inedible, worst pizza ever. I threw it in the trash. Runny topppings, crust was floppy, wet and non existent. Raw vegetables on top. If this is New York pizza Im glad I don't live there. I couldn't find a Surfside location to rate but Im assuming its a chain. read more

My fiance and I are from the North and were looking for a classic New York style pizza when we moved to Myrtle Beach. Aroma's is as good as it gets! The owner, and staff are incredibly nice and always make it a point to say hello when you walk in. We usually order cheese pizza which is cooked perfectly every time. Also try their eggplant Parmesan grinder, Chicken Parmesan Grinder, and Zeppole ( small fried dough pieces with powdered sugar or cinnamon and sugar.) Warning about a hidden $2.50 Delivery charge (for "insurance purposes", I was told) that is not on their website's menu, or a printed menu that I picked up at the 707 location a week ago. It's not the money, but the principle of it. I don't like to pay for charges that are not in print, but show up when you call in, or go to pay for your food. I do, however like their pizza, especially when the owner (has gold chains around his neck) makes the pies. They still have the same golden brown bottom vs. black/burnt like Gino's can sometimes do, but the owner's pies are a little more "abundanza". A waitress at Eggs Up Grill in Garden City, SC told me that her many experiences in ordering a pizza pie to go are the same as mine. These are our opinions, after ordering many pizzas, at least. read more

True New Haven style pizza - thin crust with a bit of chewiness beneath a light crispness. Rich, non-acidic sauce and flavorful Italian sausage. The Marguerita style pie was delicious too. Tiramisu has plenty of rum, which was not favored by some of our family. We were a party of 7 at the tiny Rt. 707 location, which only seats a little more than 10 parties of 4.
