Well so sad. The pizza was absolutely wonderful and crust perfect. The sad part is I will assume the owner who was every bit one of the rudest people I have met in a customer service industry. I asked a few questions as I had never been there I got a take out order asked for parm and red pepper he said up on the counter put on what you want. Sorry it is not just me don't you have sides to take response I don't know what other pizza stores do. Please. Anyways he ruined my night and anything I thought I might ever come back for. This place is in a small strip mall. There were a couple booths but it appears it's mostly a take-out business. We ordered a supreme pizza for take-out, because the AC wasn't working when we stopped in. It was very tasty, and came out fairly quickly. We also had one of the fried dough desserts which was a big hit. The service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely stop in for takeout again. read more

It was a slow Sunday afternoon as we drove through this area. We needed some food. We were welcomed and helped quickly. I ordered a small cheese poutine that was really tasty but a little much for me. Had a side of wings that he cooked in different flavors. They were decent flavors. I really wanted to like Nellie's Pizza Shop, but it's hard to support a business when the owner is online attacking anyone who doesn't share his political beliefs. He's been bashing people who don't support Trump -- which is not only unprofessional, it's a great way to chase away half your potential customers. Businesses should bring communities together, not divide them over politics. To make matters worse, the pizza itself is average at best. There's nothing special about it -- certainly not enough to make up for the owner's attitude. It's also worth noting that the owner isn't even from here -- he's Canadian -- which makes the political rants even more out of place. If you're looking for great pizza and a welcoming atmosphere, there are plenty of other local spots that focus on good food and good service rather than online drama. Nellie's just isn't it. read more

I will order solely for the dessert fried dough specialties! So freaking good. The wings in hot honey were also a winner and will definitely order again. The fried pizone thing was good and a first for me but I prefer the traditional. I do wish they had chicken as an option for filling though. The poutine was tasty but not my favorite. Great pizza, great vegan options! Was part of a group who met here for lunch. EVERYONE loved their meal. It was great to go in and order and pay and then be seated. I'll start with this...customer service is great. Let's put it this way if you are from NYC or Jersey, this is not the pizza for you. The toppings were diced on the pizza (sausage peppers and onions and ham) the calzone was supposed to be fried and it clearly wasn't. The flavor didn't do it for us. Decided to try the local spot due to all the good reviews I have seen on Yelp. The online order process was quick. The menu offered a lot of different choices, and the prices are very reasonable. We ordered two medium pizzas and we tried the Poutine. Honestly, the pizza was just ordinary. I didn't taste anything particular with the sauce and the pizza crust was a bit dry. The poutine I never heard of before so decided to try it . The gravy had good flavor, but the fries needed to be crispy and not so soggy. Overall, I would give it another try because the people of the restaurant are sincere and seem to love what they do. read more

We have been ordering pizza from this stand-alone business for about a year. The last two deliveries left a lot to be desired. Ordering the meat x meat pizza (which is supposed to be loaded with meat), the pizza was not. The pizza was also a lot saltier than previously served. It is disappointing because prior to that, the pizza was very good. Less meat and more salt does not make for a good combination. read more

If you are looking for a place serving up some of the best pizza on the beach, then stop by, say hi to the friendly staff, and dive into some great flavor.
