We rented out all 10 rooms for an annual gathering. Each room has its own eclectic feel. There are rooms with two bedrooms, there are rooms with one bedroom. There is a continental breakfast area near the main office that also overlooks the lake. The owner and his wife are very nice and friendly individuals. They make you feel like family. We will most definitely come here again and recommend them to people who I k ow would enjoy this peaceful Gem.

AND You will miss a charming, one of a kind, Americana stay. A restored 1950's drive up motel, you are offered spectacular lakefront views and breezes amid the rustle of palms. Owners are more than pleasant - we had2 situations in which they provided kind and pleasant assistance. The Cafe is closed due to Covid, but we brought back meals and ate in the lakefront screen house while watching the sun set. The room was spotless, the bath tiny but remodeled. We were in#4, a suite with a lake view. 1950's furniture added to the ambiance, and I loved the pre Disney Floridian prints. A bit short on plugs to handle today's electronics, and no clock - which did us good. Turn the 'tronics off and forget the current time .... just enjoy!

I can't say enough good things about this place!?…read more To start, I'm so happy I stopped in here. I've been in a drought of finding another 5 star to rate, been at some mediocre places recently! This broke my drought clean off! When you walk in you'll be greeted by a family of very nice girls. They walked me through the menu, their best sellers and since I came in late in the day they informed me they had sold out of some of their bakery items! I ordered the Terrocotta Sandwich and an empanada and wow!! Both were amazing and were priced very affordably. I was working there so I decided to order another empanada this time chicken and a smoothie. Wow!! The smoothie was so yummy and colorful while not being too sweet and the chicken was just as good as the steak. From the service to the cute decor.. this place is a MUST STOP if you're in the area!! I'll be back 100%!!

We got an arepa de choclo (chose to have it without melted cheese on top), pan de bono, and a passion fruit cream croissant. Each was great, but the pan de bono and arepa were the clear standouts. I usually prefer a flakier croissant, but the filling was delish! You order at the counter and then find a seat in the ample dining room. We got oat milk cortados and I appreciated the espresso machines (no one-button device here!). We left full and happy!

Something told me to look at the breakfast sandwich and I was shocked. I ended up ordered a chicken empanada and a tequeno in case I didn't like the sandwich because it looks awful (doesn't taste good either) In total with the additional purchase I spent $30. I feel like I got ripped off badly. They slapped two deli slices on this sandwich and they gave it to me on hamburger buns. This isn't what was advertised on their order screens or website. I wish I could get a refund because I didn't even enjoy the first bite and ended up not eating. The empanada was another disappointment. Flavorless boiled chicken mixed with some potato with a lightly seasoned rosemary crust. They give you some kind of garlic sauce with it and it's to distract you from flavorless food. The sauce can't always save food. Very overpriced for mediocre food. The coffee was the only decent item I had. Not even the tequeno was good and it's just a stick of cheese wrapped in dough. You're better off spending money at a drive through. For the amount of money I paid I am Highly disappointed and upset with this experience. Definitely do not recommend wasting the drive or your money to come here.
