Both dishes were fresh and just the right amount of food without leaving you stuffed. Sat outside on the deck for a great view and weather. Owner is a gracious and friendly person who goes out of her way to greet people and make sure they have what they need. Their serving staff has to be the friendliest and most personable people I've encountered in a restaurant. Can't recommend this place enough for a true hidden gem.

But probably one of my least favorite meals I've had in a while. I started with the crab rangoon nachos, and honestly, those were the highlight. Definitely different than I expected, but surprisingly good. For my entrée, I got steak, fries, and Asian slaw. The steak itself was tender, and fries are pretty hard to ruin unless you actively resent potatoes, but the overall flavor was just... weird. Not awful, just a mix of spices or seasoning that didn't really work for me. I wouldn't be excited to order it again. Dessert was a Nutella-stuffed cookie pie thing that I split with a friend, and I swear we almost needed an axe to cut into it. Points for durability, I guess. lmao

We had a truly great meal at the Friendly Diner in Pittsfield, NH tonight. My boyfriend had the…read moreprime rib (a special) and I had the cottage pie. The flavors were so wonderful. Great home cooking comfort food. We were too full for dessert but when we saw the case, they all looked so good. There is a baklava cheesecake! Waitstaff was great. I know it's been here for a while but I thought it was just breakfast and lunch. People keep saying it's great. We had no idea there was a dinner menu. We will be back! Update: we have come back several times in the past few weeks. It just keeps getting better. Always great food and service. A new favorite is the pot roast sandwich! My son says this is his favorite sandwich ever! They also have a good Cuban. Donuts and muffins are made in house and are delicious. Very good about food allergies.

I observed several patrons picking up orders of what might've been pastries. The size of the dining area does not allow for a lot of customers & it gets busy fast even on a very early Saturday morning. I had the biscuits & gravy with loaded hash. It was 'okay' & I brought the leftovers home. My husband loved their 'Kitchen Sink' omelet. Same thing, he had to bring home the leftovers.

We really love this restaurant, and usually this location. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 meals. We…read morewaited maybe 20 mins and they brought our food out, but never the apps. They offered to put them in now, but we decided to decline. Server came over to apologize in a very casual way, like maybe she forgets a lot of things through out the day (I could never be a server, so I get it) but she did write down our order and she verified dipping sauce, so I don't really know how she forgot to put our order in correctly. I honestly just chalked it up to us being fat so we didn't really need them anyway, oh well. This location is convenient, so we will be back, but I do prefer the Portsmouth location, or even Bedford. But this one is good too, it just seems like on the days they are open later, the staff is a little less... helpful. Maybe we will stick to brunch hours and see how that works. The menu here has also changed, and we really miss the old menu. The selections are now mediocre, and things you could get anywhere else. I miss the unique menu of things that were creative and layered, and just different. The menu now consists of 2 small pages, with pancakes, omelets, eggs Benedict, burritos, and a few lunch options with burgers. The hot chick sandwich is really great, but it was better before when it was called something else. It feels like the menu went a little *New England white tastebuds* instead of keeping the flavorful, unique items. I'm only taking away one star for the menu change. Our server not putting our order in correctly was annoying, especially since I only order apps because my blood sugar was low and thought they'd come out quickly, but it wasn't enough to keep me from coming back. I just hope they will bring back the old menu.

I always enjoy brunch here! The drinks are great and the staff is always super friendly.read more
