Pricy and misleading picture. Ordered a sandwich and didn't come with a side. Food was just ok. Nothing special.

Loved my sweet plantains too which had a good grill to them. Only things that I wasn't impressed with the yellow rice. Wouldn't recommend that or the red beans. The server was friendly enough. The bartender/ maybe manager was friendly offered us to stick around for music later in the evening. He also explained the menu choices a lot more than the server actually had. Overall everyone was happy with their selections. The papas relleno needed a sauce or flavor. But nicely cooked. My dad got a flank steak that was nicely braised when I tried it.

We started with the empanadas, which were excellent. We had one beef and one chicken. The beef was nicely seasoned and had potato's on the inside as well. For our main entrees we had the bistec de pollo with yellow rice and plantains. We also had the lechón asado with moros and plantains. The moros is the Cuban version of dirty rice and it was very delicious. The plantains were golden, soft and prepared so good. The chicken and pork were tender and good. The servers were really nice as well. Great experience.

My friends asked for steak sandwiches and they had more bread than steak. The steak was so small they could barely taste it. My friend and I asked for palomilla steak and got a churrasco cut. (I think they are trying to get a drive through going?). As we walked to the front door the live music was blaring outside and it was a great night for it..it was a little early so it wasn't too crowded yet but people were enjoying the party. Once inside it was much more quiet, we were actually shocked at how well insulated it was from the music, which is great for those that was a little more cozy experience. We were greeted right away by a very friendly man in a great hat! We had our pick of tables and I would describe the decor as a casual vibe. I'm assuming as the name suggests, it's supposed to feel like you are at someone's home for a party. They had a good bunch of people working and everyone was really nice but they also were clearly family and had some kids running around and just basically enjoying themselves, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The menu was great, loads of options. The drink selection was also good, classic Cuban favorites and others. I chose the coconut mojito and it was fresh made and SO good. For an appetizer we had the guacamole and tostones which were really good, and fresh. For dinner I had the arroz con pollo, which was seasoned really well, the rice was a little under for me but still really good. My husband had the ceviche which he said was the best he's ever had and could have had three more bowls. Overall, great spot. We might come back for the music and drinks on another warm night. They also have a good looking breakfast menu!

We were greeted quickly upon arriving into Liliana's Colombian Restaurant and Bakery by an older gentleman, you could tell he has pride in this restaurant the way he spoke and helped with everything. The food, we order tostones for an appetizer. They were crispy, light, and simple. Could've used a bit of salt personally but the garlic sauce they came with really made up for it. So good! The steak had a ton of flavor, and the yellow rice was solid, though my family actually liked the white rice better overall. We ordered a mix of plates with yellow rice and fries, others with white rice and tostones. I went with the arroz con pollo (classic choice), and my youngest had the chicken nuggets and fries. Only downside: my meal came out about 10 minutes after everyone else's, which was a little frustrating but not warrant for complaints. Our waiter was really sweet, a tad slow checking in sometimes, but he was super accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. He even got honey on the side for my kiddos nuggets. Odd request but it's a thing. A big surprise but we got a free choice of a pastry at the end, which was really nice. My kids picked flan and said it was light, firm, but still creamy. Not too mushy. In the end the vibe is very family friendly. They play Latin music in the background, but it's quiet and chill, easy to drown out and still enjoy. I would love to see this place flourish, I know they deserve it, there's a lot of love put into this place. If we're ever in town again, we'll be back.
